紫苏子散 治小儿咳逆上气，因乳哺无度，内挟风冷，伤于肺气，或小儿啼气未定，
与乳饮之，与气相逆，气不得下。
紫苏子 诃子（去核） 杏仁（去皮尖，炒） 萝卜子（炒） 木香 人参（去芦。各三两） 青皮 甘草（炒。
各一两半）
上为细末。每服二钱，水一盏，生姜三片，煎至五分，去滓，不拘时服，量儿加减。
《肘后》疗小儿咳嗽方
紫菀（六分） 贝母（二分） 款冬花（一分）
上捣为散。每服如豆大，着乳头上，令儿和乳咽之，日三四。乳母忌食大咸醋
物。《圣惠》用清粥饮调一字。
〔张涣〕马兜铃丹 治小儿肺壅咳嗽，大便不利。
马兜铃 紫苏子 人参（去芦头。各一两） 款冬花 木香（各半两，并为细末） 杏仁（七钱半，汤浸，去皮尖，
另细研）
上件，同拌匀，炼蜜和，如黍米大。每服十粒，煎生姜汤下，量儿大小加减。
人参半夏丹 消痰饮，止嗽。
人参（去芦） 半夏（汤洗七遍，焙干） 白术 川面姜 天南星（微炮。各一两）
上件捣，罗为细末，取生姜汁打面糊和，如黍米大。每服十粒，煎生姜汤下。
月内百 婴儿如针头大，沾在乳头上，令儿吮之。
贝母汤 治肺中风，咳嗽喘满。
贝母（炒黄色） 半夏（白矾汤洗七遍，焙干。各一两） 干姜 麻黄（去根节） 款冬花 甘草（炙，各半两）
上件捣，罗为细末，每服一钱，水一小盏，入生姜三片，杏仁二粒去皮尖，同
煎至五分，去滓温服。

将上述药材研磨成细末。每次服用二钱，加水一盏，生姜三片，煎煮至剩余五分药液，滤去药渣，不限时间服用，根据患儿年龄大小酌情增减剂量。
《肘后备急方》治疗小儿咳嗽的方剂：
将上述药材捣碎制成散剂。每次服用如豆粒大小的量，涂抹在乳头上，让婴儿随乳汁一同吞服，每日三四次。乳母忌食过咸及醋味食物。《太平圣惠方》主张用清粥饮调服一字量的药粉。
马兜铃、紫苏子、人参（去除芦头，以上各一两）、款冬花、木香（以上各半两，共同研为细末）、杏仁（七钱半，用热水浸泡，去除皮和尖，单独细细研磨）。
将上述药材混合拌匀，用炼蜜调和，制成如黍米大小的丸剂。每次服用十粒，用煎好的生姜汤送服，根据患儿年龄大小酌情增减剂量。
人参（去除芦头）、半夏（用热水清洗七遍，焙干）、白术、川面姜、天南星（微炮制，以上各一两）。
将上述药材捣碎，过筛成为细末，取生姜汁打面糊调和，制成如黍米大小的丸剂。每次服用十粒，用煎好的生姜汤送服。
月内百：形状如针头大小，沾在乳头上，让婴儿吮吸。

Zisuzi San (Perilla Seed Powder): Treats pediatric cough with rebellious Qi ascending, caused by unregulated breastfeeding, internal retention of Wind-Cold pathogenic factors damaging Lung Qi; or when an infant cries and their Qi has not yet stabilized, milk or water is given immediately, causing the Qi of food and drink to rebel against respiratory Qi, preventing Qi from descending.
Perillae Fructus (Zisuzi), Terminalia Chebula Retz. Fruit (Hezi, pitted), Apricot Seed (Xingren, peeled and de-embryoned, stir-fried), Radish Seed (Luoboziz, stir-fried), Aucklandiae Radix (Muxiang), Ginseng Radix (Renshen, rhizome removed, each 3 liang), Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium Viride (Qingpi), Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma (Gancao, stir-fried, each 1.5 liang).
Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder. Take 2 qian per dose, add one zhan of water and three slices of Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens (Shengjiang), decoct until five fen remains, filter out the dregs, and take at any time, adjusting the dosage according to the child's age.
Formula for treating pediatric cough from *Zhou Hou Bei Ji Fang* (Emergency Prescriptions Kept Up My Sleeve):
Sinapis Semen (Ziwan), Fritillariae Bulbus (Beimu), Adenophorae Radix (Kudonghua, 1 fen).
Pound the above ingredients into a powder. Take a dose the size of a bean, apply it to the nipple, allowing the infant to swallow it mixed with milk, three to four times daily. The nursing mother must avoid consuming overly salty or sour foods. *Tai Ping Sheng Hui Fang* recommends administering this with a thin rice gruel.
[Mao Huan] Madouling Dan: Treats pediatric lung congestion with cough and constipation.
Aristolochiae Manshuriensis Radix (Madouling), Perillae Fructus (Zisuzi), Ginseng Radix (Renshen, rhizome removed, each 1 liang), Adenophorae Radix (Kudonghua), Aucklandiae Radix (Muxiang, each half liang, ground together into a fine powder), Apricot Seed (Xingren, 7.5 qian, soaked in hot water, peeled and de-embryoned, separately ground finely).
Mix the above ingredients thoroughly, blend with refined honey, and form pills the size of millet seeds. Take ten pills per dose, administered with decocted Ginger Water, adjusting the dosage according to the child's age.
Renshen Banxia Dan: Eliminates phlegm-fluid retention and stops cough.
Ginseng Radix (Renshen, rhizome removed), Pinelliae Rhizoma (Banxia, washed seven times in hot water, dried by baking), Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma (Baizhu), Zingiberis Rhizoma (Chuanmianjiang), Pinelliae Tuber (Tian Nan Xing, lightly processed, each 1 liang).
Pound the above ingredients, sieve them into a fine powder, use Ginger Juice (Shengjiang Zhi) to make a wheat paste binder, and form pills the size of millet seeds. Take ten pills per dose, administered with decocted Ginger Water.
Yue Nei Bai: Formed like the head of a needle, applied to the nipple for the infant to suckle.
Beimu Tang: Treats Wind invading the Lung, resulting in cough, wheezing, and chest fullness.
Fritillariae Bulbus (Beimu, stir-fried until yellow), Pinelliae Rhizoma (Banxia, washed seven times in Alum Water, dried by baking, each 1 liang), Zingiberis Rhizoma Siccum (Ganjiang), Ephedrae Herba (Mahuang, roots and nodes removed), Adenophorae Radix (Kudonghua), Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma (Gancao, honey-fried, each half liang).
Pound the above ingredients, sieve them into a fine powder. Take 1 qian per dose, add one small zhan of water, three slices of Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens (Shengjiang), and two Apricot Seeds (Xingren, peeled and de-embryoned), decoct together until five fen remains, filter out the dregs, and take warm.
