《千金翼》治虫蚀齿疼痛方
上，闭气细书曰∶南方赤头虫飞来，入某姓名裂齿里，今得蝎虫孔安置耐居上。
急急如律令。小笺纸内着屋柱北边蝎虫孔中，取水一杯，禹步如禁法，还诵上文，以
水沃孔，以净黄土泥之，勿令泄气，永愈。
又治虫蚀齿根肉黑方
上烧腐棘，取潴，涂之十遍，雄黄末敷即愈。若齿黑者，以松木灰揩之，细末
雄黄涂龈，百日日再涂之，七日慎油猪肉，神效。
又治齿 方
上，以檐一枚，令病患蹲坐，横檐于膝上，引两手寻，使极，住手伸中指，灸
中指头檐上三壮，两头一时下火，病患口诵咒曰∶啖牙虫名字鹘莫，啖牙莫啖骨。灸人亦念之。
又治裂齿方
上，以腐棘针二百枚，以水二升，煮取一升，含漱之，日四五，瘥止。
又方 取死曲 末敷痛处，即止。
《日华子》治小儿风 牙方
上，浓煎郁李仁水含之。
《聚宝》黄龙散 治齿龈疳蚀，有窍子不合者。
龙实（龙骨中有之，深黄或淡黄土蝎色，紧掬人舌者是） 白矾（灰） 蜗牛壳 南粉 牛黄（各一钱）
上五味为末，每用少许，贴窍子内，时时用之。
《千金方》
上以牛屎中大豆二七枚，小开豆头，以注齿根处，数度即生。
《经验方》治小儿大人，多年牙齿不生。
上，用黑豆三十粒，牛粪火内烧令烟尽，细研，入麝香少许，一处研匀。先以
针挑不生齿处令血出，用末少许揩。不得见风，忌酸咸物。
《圣惠》治齿落久不生方
上取路旁遗却稻粒，于齿落处点三七下，其齿自生，神效。
《灵苑》治大人小儿生齿神验方
上用雄雌鸡粪各十四颗，焙干，同研如粉，入麝香少许。仍先以针挑破损齿脚
下血出，将散子敷之，年高者不过二十日生，年少者十日，不计伤损及少自退落，并再生。
《千金翼方》治疗虫蚀牙疼痛的方子：
以上方法，屏住气息，用小字书写道：“南方的红头虫飞来，进入某某姓名裂开的牙齿里，现在得到蝎虫的孔洞安置并耐住居住在上面。”
急忙依照律令执行。将写好的小纸条放入屋柱北边蝎虫的孔洞中，取一杯水，按照禁咒法走禹步，再诵读上面的文字，用水浇灌孔洞，用干净的黄土封泥它，不要让气泄漏，永远痊愈。
又治疗虫蚀牙根、牙龈肉发黑的方子：
以上方法，烧枯棘树，取其汁液，涂抹十次；撒上雄黄粉末即可痊愈。如果牙齿变黑，用松木灰擦拭，将细末雄黄涂抹在牙龈上，每天涂两次，坚持百日，七天内忌食油类和猪肉，效果神奇。
又治疗齿龋（蛀牙）的方子：
以上方法，取屋檐滴水的一枚瓦片，让病人蹲坐，将瓦片横放在膝盖上，双手拉扯手指使其极度伸展，停手伸出中指，在中指指尖的瓦片上灸三壮，两端同时点火，病人嘴里念咒语说：“吃牙虫的名字叫鹘莫，吃牙不吃骨。”施灸的人也默念。
又治疗牙齿裂缝的方子：
以上方法，用二百枚枯棘针，用两升水煮取一升药液，含漱，每天四到五次，病愈即止。
又一个方子：
取死曲（发酵霉变的谷物或面食）的粉末敷在疼痛处，疼痛立即停止。
《日华子本草》治疗小儿风热引起的牙龈肿痛方：
以上方法，浓煎郁李仁的水，含漱。
《聚宝》黄龙散治疗牙龈疳蚀，有孔窍不愈合的情况。
龙实（龙骨中有的，深黄色或淡黄土色、蝎子色，紧紧吸附人舌头的就是） 白矾（煅过的） 蜗牛壳 南粉 牛黄（各一钱）
以上五味药研成粉末，每次用少许，贴在孔窍内，经常使用。
《千金方》：
以上方法，用牛屎中的大豆十四枚，稍微打开豆头，将其塞入齿根处，多次后即可长出牙齿。
《经验方》治疗小儿和大人多年不长牙齿。
以上方法，用黑豆三十粒，在牛粪火中烧至烟尽，细细研磨，加入少许麝香，一起研匀。先用针挑破不长牙齿的地方使其出血，用少许药末揩擦。不得见风，忌食酸咸食物。
《圣惠方》治疗牙齿脱落很久不再生长的方子：
以上方法，取路边遗留的稻粒，点在牙齿脱落处三七下，牙齿自然生长，效果神奇。
《灵苑方》治疗大人小孩长牙齿的神奇有效方子：
以上方法，用公鸡粪和母鸡粪各十四颗，焙干，一同研磨成粉，加入少许麝香。仍然先以针挑破破损的牙床使其出血，将药散敷在上面，年长者不超过二十天长出，年少者十天，不论是因为损伤还是自然退落，都能重新生长。
The *Qianjin Yi Fang* (Supplement to the Formulas of a Thousand Golden Yuan) treats pain caused by tooth decay due to insects:
For the above method, hold your breath and write in small characters: "Southern red-headed insects fly here, enter the cracked teeth of [Name], now find the hole of the scorpion insect to settle and reside."
Execute immediately as per the decree. Place the small paper note into the scorpion hole on the north side of the house pillar, take one cup of water, perform the Yu Bu (Great Step) ritual as per incantation methods, recite the text above again, pour the water into the hole, seal it with clean yellow earth mud, do not let the qi escape, and it will be permanently cured.
Another formula for treating blackened gum tissue at the tooth root due to insect erosion:
For the above method, burn dried briar branches, collect the liquid, apply ten times; sprinkle powdered Realgar (Xionghuang, 雄黄) and it will heal. If the teeth are black, rub them with pine wood ash, apply fine powdered Realgar to the gums twice daily for one hundred days, avoid oil and pork for seven days, and the effect is miraculous.
Another formula for treating dental caries (tooth decay):
For the above method, take a tile from the eaves, have the patient squat, place the tile horizontally on the knees, stretch both hands' fingers to the limit, stop stretching and extend the middle finger, apply three moxa cones (Zhuang, 壮) on the tile at the tip of the middle finger, ignite both ends simultaneously. The patient chants the spell: "Insect-eating-teeth name Hu Mo, eat teeth but not bone." The person applying moxibustion also recites it mentally.
Another formula for treating cracked teeth:
For the above method, use two hundred dried briar thorns, boil in two sheng of water until reduced to one sheng, gargle with the decoction four to five times daily, stop when healed.
Another formula:
Apply powder from dead Qu (fermented grain or dough) to the painful area, and the pain stops immediately.
*Rihua Zi Bencao* (Daily Life Substances Materia Medica) treats pediatric wind-heat causing gum swelling and pain:
For the above method, decoct Prunus japonica seeds (Yuliren, 郁李仁) strongly and gargle with the water.
*Jubao* Huanglong San (Yellow Dragon Powder) treats gingival gan erosion with non-healing perforations.
Longshi (Dragon Bone, 龙骨 - specifically the deep yellow, pale earth-yellow, or scorpion-colored pieces that adhere tightly to the tongue), Bai Fan (Alumen, 白矾 - calcined), Concha Cochlicopae (Snail Shell, 蜗牛壳), Nan Fen (Southern Starch, 南粉), Niuhuang (Calculus Bovis, 牛黄) (each 1 qian).
Grind the above five ingredients into powder. Use a small amount each time, apply inside the perforation, and use frequently.
*Qianjin Fang* (Essential Prescriptions Worth a Thousand Gold):
For the above method, take fourteen soybeans from cow dung, slightly open the bean head, insert it into the tooth root area, and after several applications, new teeth will grow.
*Jingyan Fang* (Experience Formula) treats children and adults who have not grown teeth for many years.
For the above method, use thirty black beans, burn them in cow dung fire until smoke ceases, grind finely, add a small amount of Moschus (Shexiang, 麝香), and grind together uniformly. First, prick the area where teeth have not grown with a needle to induce bleeding, then rub with a small amount of the powder. Avoid exposure to wind, and refrain from sour and salty foods.
*Shenghui Fang* (Holy Grace Formulas) treats teeth that have fallen out and have not regrown for a long time:
For the above method, take rice grains left by the roadside, apply them to the area where the tooth fell out seven times three times (21 times), and the teeth will naturally grow, with miraculous effects.
*Lingyuan Fang* (Spirit Garden Formulas) treats a miraculous and effective formula for adults and children growing teeth:
For the above method, take fourteen pellets each of male chicken dung and female chicken dung, dry them by roasting, grind them together into a powder, add a small amount of Moschus (Shexiang, 麝香). Still, first prick the damaged gum base with a needle to induce bleeding, then apply the powder. For older individuals, it takes no more than twenty days; for younger individuals, ten days. This applies regardless of whether the loss was due to injury or natural shedding; they will all regenerate.
