芥蔓荆子（各半两）
上为末，猪胆汁和丸，如梧子大。每服三十丸，麦门冬汤下。
除风汤 治五风变成内障，头旋偏肿痛，瞳人结白者。
羚羊角 车前子 芍药 人参 茯苓 大黄 黄芩 芒硝（各一两）
上为末，水一盏，散一钱，煎至五分，食后去滓温服。
《本事方》治内障。
白羯羊肝（只用子肝一片，薄切，新瓦上焙） 熟地黄（一两半） 菟丝子 蕤仁 车前子 麦
门冬 地肤子（去壳） 泽泻 防风 黄芩 白茯苓 五味子 杏仁（炒） 桂心（炒） 细辛 枸

上为细末，炼蜜丸，如桐子大。每服三四十丸，温汤下，日三服，不拘时候。
张台卿尝苦目暗，京师医者令灸肝俞，遂转不见物，因得此方，眼目遂明。一男子内
障医治无效，因以余剂遗之，一夕灯下语其家曰∶适偶有所见，如隔门缝见火者，及旦
视之，眼中翳膜俱裂如线。张云∶此药灵，勿妄与人，忽之则无验，予益信之，且欲广其传也。
罗汉应梦丸 治内障，及因病赤眼，食咸物而得者。
夜明砂（净） 当归 蝉蜕（洗） 木贼（去节，各等分）
上为末，用羯羊子肝四两，水煮烂，捣如泥，入前药末捣和，丸如桐子大。每服五
十丸，食后熟水下，百日眼如故。
昔日徐道亨奉母至孝，患眼食蟹，遂内障，暗诵般若经，与市得钱米，既侍母，忽
一夕梦罗汉授此方服，眼得复明。
神仙碧霞丹 治内障。
当归 没药（各二钱） 血竭 白丁香 硼砂 片脑 麝香（各一钱） 马牙硝 乳香（各半钱）
黄连（三钱） 铜绿（一两半，为衣）
上为细末，熬黄连膏和丸，如鸡头实大。每用新汲水半盏，于瓷盒内浸，常用每一丸，
可洗四五日，大病不过一月，小病半月，冷泪三日见效。
将药物研成细末，用炼蜜调和制成丸药，大小如梧桐子。每次服用二十丸，饭后用薄荷汤送服。

川芎、白蒺藜、木贼、白术、羌活、菟丝子、熟地黄、甘草（各等分）
将上述药物研成细末，用炼蜜制成丸药，大小如弹丸。空腹时用熟汤嚼服。

川乌、地黄、白术、茯苓、石决明、杏仁、川芎、菟丝子（各三两），当归、防风、荆芥、蔓荆子（各半两）
将药物研成粉末，用猪胆汁调和制成丸药，大小如梧桐子。每次服用三十丸，用麦门冬汤送服。
除风汤 治疗五风转化为内障，伴有头晕、偏侧头痛肿胀，瞳孔发白者。
羚羊角、车前子、芍药、人参、茯苓、大黄、黄芩、芒硝（各一两）
将药物研成粉末，取水一盏，加入药散一钱，煎煮至五分，饭后去渣温服。
《本事方》治疗内障。
白羯羊肝（只用子肝一片，薄切，在新瓦上焙干）、熟地黄（一两半）、菟丝子、蕤仁、车前子、麦门冬、地肤子（去壳）、泽泻、防风、黄芩、白茯苓、五味子、杏仁（炒）、桂心（炒）、细辛、枸杞子、茺蔚子、苦葶苈、青葙子（各一两）
将药物研成细末，用炼蜜制成丸药，大小如桐树种子。每次服用三四十丸，用温水送服，每日三次，不限时候。
张台卿曾深受目暗困扰，京城的医生让他灸肝俞穴，结果反而完全看不见东西，因此得到此方，眼睛随即明亮。有一个男子患内障，医治无效，于是我将剩余的药剂赠送给他，他在一天晚上在灯下对家人说：“刚才偶然看见了一些东西，就像隔着门缝看火光一样。”等到早晨查看时，发现他眼中的翳膜都裂开像线一样。张台卿说：“这药很灵验，不要随意给人，轻视它就没有效果。”我更加相信它，并且想要广泛传播它。
罗汉应梦丸 治疗内障，以及因病导致红眼，因食用咸物而引发的病症。
夜明砂（净制）、当归、蝉蜕（清洗）、木贼（去节，各等分）
将药物研成粉末，取羯羊子肝四两，用水煮烂，捣成泥状，加入前面的药粉捣匀，制成如桐树种子大小的丸药。每次服用五十丸，饭后用温水送服，百日之后眼睛恢复如初。
昔日徐道亨侍奉母亲极为孝顺，因吃螃蟹患了眼病，遂成内障。他暗中诵读《般若经》，并用集市所得的钱米侍奉母亲。忽然有一天夜里梦见罗汉传授此方，服用后眼睛得以复明。
神仙碧霞丹 治疗内障。
当归、没药（各二钱），血竭、白丁香、硼砂、片脑、麝香（各一钱），马牙硝、乳香（各半钱），黄连（三钱），铜绿（一两半，作为包衣）
将药物研成细末，熬制黄连膏调和制成丸药，大小如鸡头实。每次取新汲取的水半盏，放入瓷盒内浸泡，通常每一丸可以洗四五日，大病不超过一个月，小病半月，冷泪症三日见效。
Grind the herbs into a fine powder, mix with refined honey to form pills the size of *Cotinus coggygria* seeds. Take twenty pills per dose, administered after meals with mint decoction.
Huanjing Wan (Restore Vision Pill)
*Ligusticum chuanxiong* Rhizome (*Chuanxiong*, 川芎), *Tribulus terrestris* Fruit (*Baijili*, 白蒺藜), *Equisetum hiemale* Herb (*Muzei*, 木贼), *Atractylodes macrocephala* Rhizome (*Baizhu*, 白术), *Notopterygium incisum* Rhizome (*Qianghuo*, 羌活), *Cuscuta chinensis* Seed (*Tusizi*, 菟丝子), *Rehmannia glutinosa* Root Prepared (*Shudihuang*, 熟地黄), *Glycyrrhiza uralensis* Root and Rhizome (*Gancao*, 甘草) (equal parts).
Grind the above herbs into a fine powder, mix with refined honey to form pills the size of a bullet. Chew and swallow with warm water on an empty stomach.

*Aconitum carmichaelii* Lateral Root Prepared (*Chuanwu*, 川乌), *Rehmannia glutinosa* Root (*Dihuang*, 地黄), *Atractylodes macrocephala* Rhizome (*Baizhu*, 白术), *Poria* (*Fuling*, 茯苓), *Argopecten irradians* Shell (*Shijueming*, 石决明), *Prunus armeniaca* Seed (*Xingren*, 杏仁), *Ligusticum chuanxiong* Rhizome (*Chuanxiong*, 川芎), *Cuscuta chinensis* Seed (*Tusizi*, 菟丝子) (each three taels), *Angelica sinensis* Root (*Danggui*, 当归), *Saposhnikovia divaricata* Root (*Fangfeng*, 防风), *Schizonepeta tenuifolia* Spike (*Jingjie*, 荆芥), *Vernonia anthelmintica* Herb (*Manjingzi*, 蔓荆子) (each half tael).
Grind the herbs into powder, mix with pig bile to form pills the size of *Cotinus coggygria* seeds. Take thirty pills per dose, administered with Ophiopogon japonicus tuber decoction.
Chufeng Tang (Eliminate Wind Decoction) Treats internal cataracts transformed from the five winds, accompanied by vertigo, unilateral headache and swelling, and whitening of the pupil.
*Saiga tatarica* Horn (*Lingyangjiao*, 羚羊角), *Plantago asiatica* Seed (*Cheqianzi*, 车前子), *Paeonia lactiflora* Root (*Shaoyao*, 芍药), *Panax ginseng* Root (*Renshen*, 人参), *Poria* (*Fuling*, 茯苓), *Rheum palmatum* Root (*Dahuang*, 大黄), *Scutellaria baicalensis* Root (*Huangqin*, 黄芩), *Mirabilite* (*Mangxiao*, 芒硝) (each one liang).
Grind the herbs into powder. Take one qian of the powder in one cup of water, decoct until half a cup remains. Strain and take warm after meals.
*Benshi Fang* (Prescriptions Worth a Thousand Gold) treats internal cataracts.
White male sheep liver (use only one piece of the sub-lobular liver, sliced thinly, baked on a new tile), *Rehmannia glutinosa* Root Prepared (*Shudihuang*, 熟地黄) (one and a half liang), *Cuscuta chinensis* Seed (*Tusizi*, 菟丝子), *Prunus persica* Kernel (*Ruiren*, 蕤仁), *Plantago asiatica* Seed (*Cheqianzi*, 车前子), *Ophiopogon japonicus* Tuber (*Mendong*, 麦门冬), *Kochia scoparia* Fruit (* Difuzi*, 地肤子) (shelled), *Alisma orientale* Corm (*Zexie*, 泽泻), *Saposhnikovia divaricata* Root (*Fangfeng*, 防风), *Scutellaria baicalensis* Root (*Huangqin*, 黄芩), *Poria* (*Baifuling*, 白茯苓), *Schisandra chinensis* Fruit (*Wuweizi*, 五味子), *Prunus armeniaca* Kernel (stir-fried) (*Xingren*, 杏仁), *Cinnamomum cassia* Bark Stir-fried (*Guixin*, 桂心), *Asarum heterotropoides* Root (*Xixin*, 细辛), *Lycium barbarum* Fruit (*Gouqi*, 枸杞子), *Leonurus japonicus* Fruit (*Chongweizi*, 茺蔚子), *Descurainia sophia* Seed (*Kutingli*, 苦葶苈), *Celosia argentea* Seed (*Qingxiangzi*, 青葙子) (each one liang).

Zhang Taiqing once suffered from dim vision. Physicians in the capital advised moxibustion on Ganshu (BL18), which resulted in complete blindness. Upon receiving this prescription, his vision cleared. A man with internal cataracts whose treatment had failed was given my leftover dosage. One night by lamplight, he told his family, "I just happened to see something, as if looking at fire through a crack in a door." By morning, it was observed that the membranes in his eyes had cracked like threads. Zhang said, "This medicine is efficacious; do not give it away casually. If neglected, it will be ineffective." I believed in it even more and wished to spread its use.
Luohan Yingmeng Wan (Arhat Dream-Receiving Pill) Treats internal cataracts, as well as red eyes caused by illness and induced by consuming salty foods.
*Nyctibiidae* Excrement (cleaned) (*Yemingcha*, 夜明砂), *Angelica sinensis* Root (*Danggui*, 当归), *Bombyx batryticatus* (*Chantui*, 蝉蜕) (washed), *Equisetum hiemale* Herb (*Muzei*, 木贼) (remove joints, equal parts).
Grind the herbs into powder. Take four taels of male sheep sub-lobular liver, boil in water until soft, mash into a paste, and mix with the herb powder. Form pills the size of sesame seeds. Take fifty pills per dose, administered with warm water after meals. After one hundred days, vision returns to normal.
In the past, Xu Daoheng was extremely filial to his mother. He developed eye disease from eating crabs, leading to internal cataracts. He secretly recited the *Prajnaparamita Sutra* and used money and grain obtained from the market to support his mother. Suddenly, one night, he dreamed that an Arhat bestowed this prescription upon him. After taking it, his vision was restored.
Shenxian Bixia Dan (Immortal's Jade Cloud Elixir) Treats internal cataracts.
*Angelica sinensis* Root (*Danggui*, 当归), *Myrrha* (*Moyao*, 没药) (each two qian), *Dragon's Blood* (*Xuejie*, 血竭), *Streptococcus albus* (Bird Dropping) (*Baidingxiang*, 白丁香), *Borax* (*Pengsha*, 硼砂), *Borneol* (*Piannao*, 片脑), *Moschus* (*Shexiang*, 麝香) (each one qian), *Natrii Sulfas* (*Mayaxiao*, 马牙硝), *Boswellia carterii* Gum Resin (*Ruxiang*, 乳香) (each half qian), *Coptis chinensis* Rhizome (*Huanglian*, 黄连) (three qian), *Viriditas Cupri* (*Tonglv*, 铜绿) (one and a half liang, used as coating).
Grind the herbs into a fine powder, mix with decocted *Coptis chinensis* rhizome paste to form pills the size of *Elaeagnus angustifolia* fruit. For each use, soak one pill in half a cup of fresh drawn water in a porcelain box. Typically, one pill can be used for washing for four or five days. Severe cases may take no more than one month, mild cases half a month, and cold tearing symptoms show improvement within three days.
