〔黄膜上冲证〕
通脾泻胃汤
防风 大黄 玄参 知母（各一两） 天门冬 黄芩（各一两半） 麦门冬 茺蔚子（各二两）
每服五钱，水一盏，煎五分，去滓，食远温服。
神消散 治眼内黄膜上冲，赤膜下垂。
黄芩 蝉蜕 甘草 木贼（各五钱） 谷精草 苍术（各一两） 龙蜕（三条，炒）
上末，每服二钱，夜卧冷水调下。
皂角丸 治内外一切障膜。此药能消膜退翳，如十六般内障，同生熟地黄丸用之，神效。
龙蜕（七条） 蝉蜕 玄精石（生） 穿山甲（炒） 当归 白术 白茯苓 谷精草 木贼（各一
两） 白菊花 刺 皮（蛤粉炒） 龙胆草 赤芍药 连翘（各一两五钱） 猪爪（三十枚，蛤粉炒）
人参 川芎（各半两）
上末，一半入猪牙皂角二挺烧灰和匀，炼蜜丸，桐子大，每服三十丸，空心食前杏仁
汤下；一半入仙灵脾一两，为末和匀，每服用猪肝夹药，煮熟细嚼，及用原汁送下，日三。
犀角饮 治黄膜上冲。
犀角（二两） 白附子（炮） 麦门冬（各二钱半） 车前子 羌活 黄芩（各五钱）
上水煎，食后温服。
〔赤膜下垂〕
【黄膜上冲证】
通脾泻胃汤
防风、大黄、玄参、知母（各一两）；天门冬、黄芩（各一两半）；麦门冬、茺蔚子（各二两）。
每次服用五钱，用水一盏，煎至五分，滤去药渣，在饭后稍久时温服。
神消散
治疗眼内黄膜上冲，以及赤膜下垂。
黄芩、蝉蜕、甘草、木贼（各五钱）；谷精草、苍术（各一两）；龙蜕（三条，炒制）。
以上药物研为细末，每次服用二钱，夜间卧床时用冷水调服。
皂角丸
治疗内外各种障膜。此药能消除障膜、退除翳障，对于十六种内障，配合生地黄丸和熟地黄丸使用，效果神奇。
龙蜕（七条）、蝉蜕、玄精石（生用）、穿山甲（炒制）、当归、白术、白茯苓、谷精草、木贼（各一两）；白菊花、刺皮（用蛤粉炒制）、龙胆草、赤芍药、连翘（各一两五钱）；猪爪（三十枚，用蛤粉炒制）；人参、川芎（各半两）。
以上药物研为细末，取一半药末加入两根烧成灰的猪牙皂角，混合均匀，用炼蜜制成梧桐子大小的丸剂，每次服用三十丸，空腹或在饭前用杏仁汤送服；另一半药末加入一两仙灵脾，研为细末混合均匀，每次服用时将药夹在猪肝中，煮熟后细细咀嚼，并用原汁送下，每日三次。
犀角饮
治疗黄膜上冲。
犀角（二两）、白附子（炮制）、麦门冬（各二钱半）；车前子、羌活、黄芩（各五钱）。
以上药物用水煎煮，饭后温服。
【赤膜下垂】
[Yellow Membrane Ascending Syndrome]
Tongpi Xiewei Tang (Splea-Draining Stomach-Decoction)
Fangfeng (Saposhnikoviae Radix), Dahuang (Rhei Radix et Rhizoma), Xuanshen (Scrophulariae Radix), Zhimu (Anemarrhenae Rhizoma) (each 1 liang); Tianmendong (Asparagi Radix), Huangqin (Scutellariae Radix) (each 1.5 liang); Maimendong (Ophiopogonis Radix), Chongweizi (Chorisporae Fructus) (each 2 liang).
Take 5 qian per dose, decoct with one zhan of water until reduced to 0.5 zhan, strain the dregs, and take warm after a considerable time following meals.
Shenxiaosan (Divine Dispersal Powder)
Treats yellow membrane ascending within the eye and red membrane drooping downward.
Huangqin (Scutellariae Radix), Chantui (Cicadae Periostracum), Gancao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma), Muzei (Equiseti Herba) (each 5 qian); Gujingcao (Gigantochloae Caulis), Cangzhu (Atractylodis Rhizoma) (each 1 liang); Longtui (Serpentis Exuvies) (3 strips, stir-fried).
Pulverize the above ingredients. Take 2 qian per dose, mix with cold water and swallow while lying down at night.
Zaojiao Wan (Soap-Pod Pill)
Treats all kinds of membranes obstructing vision inside and outside the eye. This medicine can dissolve membranes and eliminate nebulae. For sixteen types of internal cataracts, use it together with Shengshu Dihuang Wan (Raw and Cooked Rehmannia Pills) for miraculous efficacy.
Longtui (Serpentis Exuvies) (7 strips), Chantui (Cicadae Periostracum), Xuanjingshi (Calcium Carbonatum), Chuanshanjia (Manis Squama, stir-fried), Danggui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix), Baizhu (Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma), Baifuling (Poria), Gujingcao (Gigantochloae Caulis), Muzei (Equiseti Herba) (each 1 liang); Baijuhua (Chrysanthemi Flos), Ci Pi (Mori Cortex, stir-fried with Araneae Pulvis), Longdancao (Gentianae Radix), Chishao (Paeoniae Radix Rubra), Lianqiao (Forsythiae Fructus) (each 1.5 liang); Zhu Zhao (Sus Scrofa Domesticus Pes) (30 pieces, stir-fried with Araneae Pulvis); Renshen (Ginseng Radix), Chuanxiong (Ligustici Chuanxiong Rhizoma) (each 0.5 liang).
Pulverize the above ingredients. Take half of the powder, add two whole pods of Zhuya Zaojiao (Gleditsiae Sinensis Fructus) burned to ash, mix evenly, and form pills with refined honey, sized like paulownia seeds. Take 30 pills per dose, swallow with Xingren Tang (Apricot Seed Decoction) on an empty stomach or before meals. Take the other half of the powder, add 1 liang of Xianlingpi (Epimedii Folium), pulverize and mix evenly. For each dose, sandwich the medicine between slices of pig liver, cook thoroughly, chew finely, and swallow with the original cooking liquid. Take three times daily.
Xijiao Yin (Rhino Horn Drink)
Treats yellow membrane ascending.
Xijiao (Rhinocerotis Cornu) (2 liang), Baifuzi (Aconiti Kusnezoffii Radix, processed), Maimendong (Ophiopogonis Radix) (each 2.5 qian); Cheqianzi (Plantaginis Semen), Qianghuo (Notopterygii Rhizoma et Radix), Huangqin (Scutellariae Radix) (each 5 qian).
Decoct with water, take warm after meals.
