Taste: Acrid, sweet; Nature: Neutral; Toxicity: Non-toxic. It primarily treats metal weapon wounds (Jinchuang), stops bleeding, and promotes flesh regeneration. It treats epilepsy (Xianyi). Grind with water to the size of a jujube pit, take twice daily, effective. (Previously attached)
Minister Yuxi et al. respectfully cite Meng Shen's statement: Wild boar mainly nourishes skin and flesh, causing flabby obesity; there is gallstone in its gallbladder. Grind it and take it like water to treat Zhu disease (a chronic wasting disease).
Those wild boars that eat acorns in the forest during winter have red meat, which tonifies wind-qi of the five zang organs. Its fat, refined to be fine, taken with two spoons mixed into one cup of wine, three times a day, increases milk production in women. After ten days of taking it, it can support three or four children. The teeth, burned into ash and taken, treat snake venom. Not exceeding ten doses. The gallstone in the gallbladder treats Gui Zhu (Zhu disease caused by evil spirits or pathogens), epilepsy, malignant wind toxicity, pediatric gan qi (pediatric malnutrition syndrome), Ke Wu (infantile convulsion due to fright or external pathogens), Tian Diao (a type of infantile convulsion), and the fat beautifies the complexion and eliminates wind-swelling, toxic sores, scabies, and tinea. Those from the twelfth lunar month that are aged are best.
The external kidneys (testes) with skin, burned into ash, without being subjected to "extinguishing fire" processing, ground into fine powder, and taken with water, treat Beng Zhong Dai Xia (heavy uterine bleeding and leukorrhea), as well as Chang Feng Xie Xue (hematochezia due to intestinal wind) and blood dysentery.
In dietary therapy, for three-year-old children, the gallstone mixed with water treats Gui Zhu and epilepsy. Furthermore, its meat treats epilepsy, nourishes skin and flesh, and causes flabby obesity. Female meat is delicious. Red-colored meat tonifies the five zang organs and does not induce wind-deficiency qi. Its meat is superior to domestic pig. Furthermore, its gallbladder treats malignant heat-toxic pathogenic factors; internal administration does not cause disease onset, reducing medicinal potency, differing from domestic pig. The fat treats women with no milk; taking it immediately produces milk. Even those who naturally have no milk will produce some after taking it. Green-hoofed ones should not be eaten. *Shiyi Xinjing* treats chronic hemorrhoids, continuous bleeding from pheasant, and pain around the anus. Two jin of pork, cut, roasted with five flavors, eaten on an empty stomach. Making soup is also acceptable.
*Yanyi* states: Wild boar gallstone is in the gallbladder, treating various epileptic diseases in children. There are many wild boars in the Jingxi region; their shape resembles domestic pigs, but they have smaller bellies and longer legs, brown fur, and walk in herds. Hunters only dare to shoot the last one; if they shoot the leading running one, the herd scatters and attacks people. The meat is red like horse meat, sweet in taste. The meat has... occasionally obtained, rarely used by the world, eating it still surpasses domestic pig.
