产后内伤，大便利而小便闭者，宜用五苓加当归、赤芍、桃仁、茯苓，入少许童便服之，不可用胃
苓汤，以其苓、术、浓朴，止血故也，血止、气亦止也。
产后乳汁不通者有四∶有气血盛壅闭者，有气血虚而不至者，有初产风热相搏而无乳者，有累产无
津而无乳者。若虚者补之，宜润乳散；气血壅闭者，疏通之，宜服漏芦汤；血气少而无乳者，以天花散治
之，玉露散亦可，或用油木梳梳乳上，令下。
【润乳散】猪蹄 鲫鱼 钟乳粉
煎服。
【漏芦汤】漏芦 栝蒌（ 存性） 木通
为末，酒服。
【天花散】天花粉 木通 陈皮 糯米 猪蹄 人参 白术 茯苓 炙甘草 熟地 当归 白芍 川芎
产后乳肿硬痛者，因儿呼吸不通，壅闭乳道，蓄积在内，遂成肿硬而疼也，名曰吹奶，宜栝蒌散、皂
角散治之。
【栝蒌散】栝蒌根（二两） 乳香（一钱）
研为末，温酒下。
【皂角散】皂角（烧存性） 蛤粉（生研）
为细末，热酒送下。
产后微发热恶寒，此气血俱虚也，宜用大补气血之剂，忌散表之药。左脉不足，补血之药，倍于补
气之药；右脉不足，则补气之药，多于补血之药；若兼痰者，各以其类治之。
产后阴脱，名曰产颓，宜用当归黄 散治之。
【当归黄 散】黄 当归 白芍（各二钱半） 升麻（一钱） 人参（三钱）
产后子肠不收者，宜补气血，以八物汤去熟地、茯苓，加升麻、防风，然必以酒黄 为主。
产后阴肿烦疼，宜桃仁膏，或用四物加 本、防风。
【桃仁膏】枯矾末 桃仁
共研膏拌擦。
产后阴肿、阴痒者，此乃湿也，宜小治方。
【小治方】荆芥 白芷 花椒 细辛 枯矾
煎汤熏洗，甚者不过三、四次。
产后劳力太过，至产则突出肿疼，名曰疝颓，用鳖头烧存性为末，搽上，忌登高举重；或将蓖麻子
肉涂头顶心，如收时即刻去药；或以五倍子、白矾、枳壳、荆芥、蛇床子，煎汤熏洗，亦妙。
产后玉门不闭，此乃气虚不足也，以补中益气汤倍加升麻治之，或八物汤，或硫黄汤。
【硫黄汤】硫黄（四两） 吴茱萸 菟丝子（各二两半）
煎汤洗，自收。
产后淤血流入腰膝走注，或右或左，痛如锥刺入骨中，不能举动，此败血流注经络。若大痛不已，
必成痈疽。宜服荆防交泰散。
【荆防交泰散】即五积、败毒同剂
产后虚烦，渴饮不止，短气眩晕，饮食无味者，宜竹叶汤加乌梅、干姜，或四物汤加门冬、五
味子、乌梅、花粉治之。
【竹叶汤】生地 麦冬 五味子 人参 竹叶 茯苓 黄芩 甘草 栝蒌 浮小麦 大枣
产后昏迷闷乱，口噤眼花，不省人事者，谓之血晕。此症不一∶或去血过多而虚晕者，或下血少而
冲上晕者，或痰火因虚泛上而晕者，或用力过多而作晕者，正是晕同而治法各异也。苟不谙练而误治之，
夭人天年，于心何安？宜速将产妇扶起，用醋炭等法，或烧漆气，或醋洒口鼻、 面，或韭汁盛瓶，以
滚醋沃之，将瓶口冲产妇鼻，令醋气入内冲醒，然后审虚实而用药治之。盖韭能去心中滞血，又加醋气，
运用无不效。倘或觅药不及，即烧秤锤，投入醋中熏之，切戒冷水喷灌，激住败血，多致不救。倘夏月，
宜用烧砖如醋炭之法治之。
临产因收生妇误损尿脬，致成淋漓不禁，宜用参术膏治之。
【参术膏】人参 白术 黄 茯苓 陈皮 甘草 川芎 当归 桃仁
先将猪、羊脬各一件，煎五六沸后，入前药，再煎，极饥时服之。
产后，前窍相连后窍，大小便易位而出者，名曰交肠，此因气不循故道，清浊混杂，宜五苓散合调
气饮，加黄连、阿胶、木香、槟榔、桃仁、木通治之。若止小便出于大便者，以五苓散分利小水。
【调气饮】木香 丁香 檀香 白蔻仁 砂仁 藿香 甘草
产后血崩不止者，以芎 汤加百草霜、侧柏汁、乌梅炭、盐等份，煎服。
产后阴颓脱下，玉门不闭，以锻石少许，烧熟，次煎防风、荆芥滚汤，置桶内，沃炭，急坐上，
使气熏入阴户；待汤温，浸洗，候平复为度。
产后觉热、头疼者，不可便作伤风、伤寒治
之。或蒸乳，或淤血，或血虚，或伤食，或蓐劳，或风寒。若先乳旁胀痛，此乳汁将行也，宜玉露散治
之；若腹中刺痛，此淤血不尽也，以五积散治之；若去血过多者，以增减四物汤治之；若早起劳碌，名曰蓐
劳，以增减柴胡汤，或茯苓汤、补中益气汤治之；若饱闷嗳气者，此乃饮食所伤也，以枳缩二陈汤治之。
产后小便频数，宜菟丝子丸。或猪腰子一只（去膜），姜三片，枣二枚，煎服。
【菟丝子丸】吴茱萸 白芨 白蔹 茯苓 陈皮（各一两） 细辛（五钱） 肉桂 五味子 牛膝 浓朴 白
附人参 当归 乳香 没药 菟丝子（各四两）
壬子日合为丸。每服十五丸，经净后连二服。此方无不可者，男女皆可服。昔承相室三十九岁无子，
服此丸后生九子。
产后气血虽虚，不可太补，宜当归散治之，即四物汤去地黄，加白术、黄芩也。
产后下血不止，以四物汤加生地、荆芥、粟壳炭治之。凡妇人有子饮乳，而经水三四年至者，不须
服药，乳汁尽即下之为经事也。
凡妇人元藏受气虚弱，致令乏嗣，及生百病者，宜服济阴丹。凡一切 瘕冷疼、白浊白淫、崩中
带下，若不治则无子；然服此剂，宿血则去，新血则生，能令血和而受孕也。
【济阴丹】木香 赤茯苓 京墨 秦艽 熟地 甘草 陈皮 石斛 肉桂 干姜 细辛 丹皮 当归
牛膝 杜仲 白术 浓朴 苍术 大豆
蜜丸，每两作六丸，每服一丸，酒磨送下，将糯米粥补之。
凡妇人生理不顺，怕产者，宜服九龙丹则不娠，其故何也？此药能令脂膜生满子室，不受孕矣。
如后要嗣而受孕者，以车前子为末，温酒服一钱，数服仍可以受孕，极善之法也。
【九龙丹】枸杞子（二两） 金樱子（五两，煎膏） 山楂（一两五钱） 佛座须（二两） 芡实（三两
莲肉（四两） 茯苓（二两） 川芎（五钱） 当归（二两）
为末，酒和丸，每服三五十丸，或酒、或盐汤送下。男子服之精涩体健，女子服之则不孕。
产后内伤，大便通畅但小便闭塞的，适宜使用五苓散加当归、赤芍、桃仁、茯苓，并加入少许童便服用，不可使用胃苓汤，因为其中的茯苓、白术、厚朴具有止血的作用，血止住了，气机也随之停滞。
产后乳汁不通的情况有四种：一种是气血旺盛壅滞导致闭塞的；一种是气血虚弱导致乳汁无法到达的；一种是刚生产后风热邪气相搏结而无乳汁的；一种是多次生育导致津液枯竭而无乳汁的。如果是虚证应当补益，适宜用润乳散；如果是气血壅滞闭塞的，应当疏通，适宜服用漏芦汤；如果是血气少而无乳汁的，用天花散治疗，玉露散也可以，或者用油木梳梳理乳房，使乳汁下行。
【润乳散】猪蹄、鲫鱼、钟乳粉
煎煮后服用。
【天花散】天花粉、木通、陈皮、糯米、猪蹄、人参、白术、茯苓、炙甘草、熟地黄、当归、白芍、川芎
产后乳房肿胀坚硬疼痛的，是因为婴儿呼吸不畅，壅闭乳道，乳汁蓄积在体内，于是形成肿胀坚硬而疼痛，名叫“吹奶”，适宜用栝蒌散、皂角散治疗。
【皂角散】皂角（烧至存性）、蛤粉（生研）
研成细末，热酒送下。
产后轻微发热恶寒，这是气血都虚弱的表现，适宜使用大补气血的药剂，忌用发散表邪的药物。如果左脉不足，补血药的量要倍于补气药；右脉不足，则补气药多于补血药；如果兼有痰湿，各自按照相应的类别治疗。
【当归黄芪散】黄芪、当归、白芍（各二钱半）、升麻（一钱）、人参（三钱）
产后子肠不收缩的，应当补益气血，用八物汤去掉熟地黄、茯苓，加上升麻、防风，然而必须以酒制黄芪为主药。
【小治方】荆芥、白芷、花椒、细辛、枯矾
煎汤熏洗，严重的不过三、四次即可。
产后劳累过度，到分娩时突出肿胀疼痛，名叫“疝颓”，用鳖头烧至存性研末，搽在上面，忌登高举重；或者将蓖麻子肉涂在头顶心，如子宫收回即刻去掉药物；或者用五倍子、白矾、枳壳、荆芥、蛇床子，煎汤熏洗，也很妙。
产后阴门不闭合，这是气虚不足的表现，用补中益气汤加倍加入升麻治疗，或者用八物汤，或者硫黄汤。
【硫黄汤】硫黄（四两）、吴茱萸、菟丝子（各二两半）
煎汤清洗，自然收缩。
产后瘀血流入腰膝走注，或左或右，痛如锥刺入骨中，不能举动，这是败血流注经络。如果剧烈疼痛不止，必然成为痈疽。适宜服用荆防交泰散。
产后虚烦，口渴饮水不止，短气眩晕，饮食无味的，适宜竹叶汤加乌梅、干姜，或者四物汤加麦冬、五味子、乌梅、花粉治疗。
【竹叶汤】生地黄、麦冬、五味子、人参、竹叶、茯苓、黄芩、甘草、栝蒌、浮小麦、大枣
产后昏迷闷乱，牙关紧闭眼花，不省人事的，叫做“血晕”。这个病症有多种：或者因失血过多而虚晕的，或者下血少而冲逆上扰致晕的，或者痰火因虚泛上致晕的，或者用力过多而致晕的，正是晕的症状相同但治疗方法各异。如果不熟悉而误治，折损人的寿命，于心何安？应当迅速将产妇扶起，用醋炭等方法，或者烧漆的气味，或者醋洒口鼻、面部，或者韭汁盛瓶，用滚醋浇在上面，将瓶口对着产妇鼻子，让醋气进入冲醒，然后审察虚实再用药治疗。大概韭菜能去除心中滞血，又加上醋气，运用没有不有效的。倘若找不到药，就烧秤锤，投入醋中熏之，切记戒用冷水喷灌，激住败血，多导致无法救治。如果是夏天，适宜用烧砖像醋炭一样的方法治疗。
【参术膏】人参、白术、黄芪、茯苓、陈皮、甘草、川芎、当归、桃仁

产后感觉发热、头痛的，不可立即当作伤风、伤寒治疗。或者是蒸乳，或者是瘀血，或者是血虚，或者是伤食，或者是蓐劳，或者是风寒。如果先乳房旁胀痛，这是乳汁将要运行的表现，适宜玉露散治疗；如果腹中刺痛，这是瘀血不尽，用五积散治疗；如果失血过多的，用增减四物汤治疗；如果早起劳碌，名叫蓐劳，用增减柴胡汤，或者茯苓汤、补中益气汤治疗；如果饱闷嗳气的，这是饮食所伤，用枳缩二陈汤治疗。
产后小便频数，适宜菟丝子丸。或者一只猪腰子（去膜），姜三片，枣二枚，煎服。
【菟丝子丸】吴茱萸、白芨、白蔹、茯苓、陈皮（各一两）、细辛（五钱）、肉桂、五味子、牛膝、厚朴、白附子、人参、当归、乳香、没药、菟丝子（各四两）
壬子日制作成丸。每次服用十五丸，月经干净后连服两次。此方没有不可用的地方，男女皆可服用。过去丞相的妻子三十九岁无子，服用此丸后生了九个孩子。
产后气血虽然虚弱，不可过于进补，适宜用当归散治疗，即四物汤去掉地黄，加白术、黄芩。
产后下血不止，用四物汤加生地黄、荆芥、粟壳炭治疗。凡是妇人有子哺乳，而月经三四年才来的，不需要服药，乳汁尽后即来月经。
凡是妇人元脏受气虚弱，导致缺乏子嗣，以及产生各种疾病的，适宜服用济阴丹。凡一切癥瘕冷疼、白浊白淫、崩中带下，如果不治疗则无子；然而服用此剂，宿血则去，新血则生，能使血调和而受孕。

【九龙丹】枸杞子（二两）、金樱子（五两，煎膏）、山楂（一两五钱）、佛座须（二两）、芡实（三两）、莲肉（四两）、茯苓（二两）、川芎（五钱）、当归（二两）
研为粉末，酒和丸，每次服用三五十丸，或者酒、或者盐汤送下。男子服用精液涩滞身体强健，女子服用则不孕。
Postpartum internal injury, with free stool but closed urination, is suitable for Wuling San (Five-Ingredient Powder with Poria) added with Danggui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix), Chishao (Red Peony Root), Taoren (Peach Kernel), and Fuling (Poria), taken with a small amount of Tongbian (Child's Urine). Weiping Tang (Stomach-Calming Decoction) should not be used, because its Fuling (Poria), Baizhu (Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma), and Houpo (Magnoliae Officinalis Cortex) have hemostatic effects; when blood stops, Qi also stagnates.
There are four types of postpartum lactation obstruction: one is caused by excess Qi and Blood stagnating and blocking the flow; one is due to deficiency of Qi and Blood failing to reach the breasts; one occurs in early postpartum where Wind-Heat pathogens contend, resulting in no milk; and one results from multiple births depleting Body Fluids, leading to no milk. For deficiency patterns, tonification is indicated, using Runru San (Lactation-Nourishing Powder); for Qi and Blood stagnation, unblocking is indicated, using Loulu Tang (Radix Euphorbiae Humifusae Decoction); for insufficient Qi and Blood, Huatian San (Trichosanthes Powder) is used, or Yulu San (Jade-Dew Powder) may also be applied. Alternatively, combing the breast with an oiled wooden comb can help promote milk flow downward.
[Runru San] Zhuti (Pig Trotter), Jiyu (Crucian Carp), Zhongru Fen (Galactite Powder).
Decoct and take.
[Loulu Tang] Loulu (Radix Euphorbiae Humifusae), Gualou (Fructus Trichosanthis, preserved property), Mutong (Caulis Akebiae).
Grind into powder, take with wine.
[Huatian San] Huafen (Radix Trichosanthis), Mutong (Caulis Akebiae), Chenpi (Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium), Nuomi (Oryza Sativa Glutinosa), Zhuti (Pig Trotter), Renshen (Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma), Baizhu (Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma), Fuling (Poria), Zhi Gancao (Honey-fried Licorice Radix et Rhizoma), Shudi (Rehmanniae Radix Preparata), Danggui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix), Baishao (Paeoniae Radix Alba), Chuanxiong (Chuanxiong Rhizoma).
Postpartum breast swelling, hardness, and pain are caused by the infant's poor breathing obstructing the milk ducts, causing accumulation inside, leading to swelling, hardness, and pain, named Chuinai (Blown Milk). It is treated with Gualou San (Trichosanthes Powder) or Zaorao San (Gleditsiae Sinensis Powder).
[Gualou San] Gualougen (Radix Trichosanthis, 2 liang), Ruxiang (Olibanum, 1 qian).
Grind into powder, take with warm wine.
[Zaorao San] Zaorao (Gleditsiae Sinensis Fructus, burned to preserve property), Haifen (Concha Meretricis et Cyprinae, raw ground).
Grind into fine powder, take with hot wine.
Postpartum slight fever and aversion to cold indicate deficiency of both Qi and Blood. Large tonics for Qi and Blood are appropriate; exterior-releasing drugs are contraindicated. If the Left pulse is deficient, tonifying Blood herbs should double the quantity of tonifying Qi herbs; if the Right pulse is deficient, tonifying Qi herbs should exceed tonifying Blood herbs. If Phlegm is present, treat according to the specific category.
Postpartum uterine prolapse, named Chantui (Postpartum Collapse), is treated with Danggui Huangqi San (Danggui and Astragalus Powder).
[Danggui Huangqi San] Huangqi (Astragali Radix), Danggui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix), Baishao (Paeoniae Radix Alba) (each 2.5 qian), Shengma (Cimicifugae Rhizoma, 1 qian), Renshen (Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma, 3 qian).
For postpartum failure of the uterus to retract, tonify Qi and Blood using Bawu Tang (Eight-Ingredient Decoction) removing Shudi (Prepared Rehmannia Root) and Fuling (Poria), adding Shengma (Cimicifugae Rhizoma) and Fangfeng (Saposhnikoviae Radix), but primarily relying on Jiuhuangqi (Wine-processed Astragalus).
For postpartum vulvar swelling and painful irritation, use Tao Ren Gao (Peach Kernel Ointment), or Siwu Tang (Four-Substance Decoction) added with Gaoben (Ligustici Wallichii Rhizoma) and Fangfeng (Saposhnikoviae Radix).
[Tao Ren Gao] Kufan (Alumen Exsiccatum), Tao Ren (Persicae Semen).
Grind together into an ointment for external application.
Postpartum vulvar swelling and itching are due to Dampness, treated with Xiao Zhi Fang (Minor Treatment Formula).
[Xiao Zhi Fang] Jingjie (Schizonepetae Spica), Baizhi (Angelicae Dahuricae Radix), Huajiao (Zanthoxyli Pericarpium), Xixin (Asari Radix et Rhizoma), Kufan (Alumen Exsiccatum).
Decoct for fumigation and washing; severe cases require no more than three or four treatments.
Excessive labor during pregnancy leading to protrusion, swelling, and pain at delivery is named Shan Tui (Hernial Collapse). Apply powder made from Bi Tou (Testudo Carapax, burned to preserve property) externally. Avoid climbing heights or lifting heavy objects. Alternatively, apply Bi Ma Zi Rou (Ricini Semen flesh) to the vertex of the head; remove immediately upon retraction. Or decoct Wu Bei Zi (Galla Chinensis), Bai Fan (Alumen), Zhi Qiao (Aurantii Fructus Immaturus), Jingjie (Schizonepetae Spica), and Shechuangzi (Cnidii Fructus) for fumigation and washing, which is also effective.
Postpartum failure of the vaginal opening to close indicates Qi deficiency. Treat with Buzhong Yiqi Tang (Tonify the Middle and Augment the Qi Decoction) with increased Shengma (Cimicifugae Rhizoma), or use Bawu Tang (Eight-Ingredient Decoction), or Liuhuang Tang (Sulfur Decoction).
[Liuhuang Tang] Liuhuang (Sulfur, 4 liang), Wuzhuyu (Evodiae Fructus), Tusizi (Cuscutae Semen) (each 2.5 liang).
Decoct for washing; natural retraction will occur.
Postpartum stasis flowing into the waist and knees, moving left or right, with stabbing pain penetrating the bone and immobility, is due to failed blood flowing into the meridians. If severe pain persists, it will likely become an abscess or carbuncle. Treat with Jingfang Jiaotai San (Schizonepeta and Saposhnikovia Harmonizing Powder).
[Jingfang Jiaotai San] Same as Wujie San (Five Accumulations Powder) and Baidu San (Defeat Toxin Powder) combined.
Postpartum empty irritability, endless thirst, shortness of breath, dizziness, and loss of taste are treated with Zhuye Tang (Bamboo Leaf Decoction) added with Wumei (Mume Fructus) and Jiangjiang (Dried Ginger), or Siwu Tang (Four-Substance Decoction) added with Maidong (Ophiopogonis Radix), Wuweizi (Schisandrae Fructus), Wumei (Mume Fructus), and Huafen (Radix Trichosanthis).
[Zhuye Tang] Shengdi (Rehmanniae Radix), Maidong (Ophiopogonis Radix), Wuweizi (Schisandrae Fructus), Renshen (Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma), Zhuye (Bambusae Folium), Fuling (Poria), Huangqin (Scutellariae Radix), Gancao (Licorice Radix et Rhizoma), Gualou (Fructus Trichosanthis), Xiaomai (Tritici Fructus), Dazao (Jujubae Fructus).
Postpartum coma, confusion, locked jaw, blurred vision, and unconsciousness are called Xueyun (Blood Fainting). This condition varies: fainting due to excessive blood loss (deficiency); fainting due to scant lochia rising upward; fainting due to Phlegm-Fire rising from deficiency; or fainting due to excessive exertion. Although symptoms are similar, treatments differ. Misdiagnosis can shorten life. Quickly raise the patient. Use methods like Vinegar Charcoal, burning lacquer fumes, splashing vinegar on face/nose, or placing chive juice in a bottle, pouring boiling vinegar over it, and holding the bottle mouth to the nose to inhale the fumes to revive. Then assess deficiency/excess and medicate. Chives remove stagnant blood from the heart; vinegar enhances efficacy. If medicine is unavailable, burn a scale weight, drop it into vinegar, and fumigate. Strictly avoid cold water sprays, which trap failed blood and cause death. In summer, use heated bricks similar to vinegar charcoal.
If the midwife accidentally damages the bladder during delivery, causing continuous dripping, treat with Shen Zhu Gao (Ginseng and Atractylodes Paste).
[Shen Zhu Gao] Renshen (Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma), Baizhu (Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma), Huangqi (Astragali Radix), Fuling (Poria), Chenpi (Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium), Gancao (Licorice Radix et Rhizoma), Chuanxiong (Chuanxiong Rhizoma), Danggui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix), Tao Ren (Persicae Semen).
Boil pig and sheep bladders separately for five to six boils, add herbs, decoct further, and take when extremely hungry.
Postpartum connection between anterior and posterior orifices causing inversion of urine and stool passage is called Jiaochang (Crossed Intestines). This is due to Qi not following normal pathways, mixing clear and turbid. Treat with Wuling San (Five-Ingredient Powder with Poria) combined with Tiaoqi Yin (Regulate Qi Drink), adding Huanglian (Coptidis Rhizoma), Ejiao (Donkey-Hide Gelatin), Muxiang (Aucklandiae Radix), Binglang (Arecae Semen), Tao Ren (Persicae Semen), and Mutong (Caulis Akebiae). If only urine passes through stool, use Wuling San to separate fluids.

Postpartum metrorrhagia (profuse bleeding) is treated with Xiong Gui Tang (Ligusticum and Angelica Decoction) added with Baicaoshuang (Carbonized Hundred Herbs), Cebaiye (Biota Tops Juice), Wumeitan (Charred Mume Fructus), and Yan (Salt) in equal parts, decocted and taken.
Postpartum genital prolapse and unclosed vaginal opening: use a small amount of Duanshi (Calcined Iron Ore), heat it, then decoct Fangfeng (Saposhnikoviae Radix) and Jingjie (Schizonepetae Spica) in boiling water. Place in a bucket, pour onto the hot stone, sit immediately to fumigate the vagina; when warm, wash until recovery.
Postpartum feeling heat and headache should not be immediately treated as Wind-Cold or Cold Damage. Causes may include milk engorgement, stasis, blood deficiency, food stagnation, confinement labor, or Wind-Cold. If breast swelling/pain precedes, milk is about to flow; treat with Yulu San (Jade-Dew Powder). If abdominal stabbing pain, stasis remains; treat with Wujie San (Five Accumulations Powder). If excessive blood loss, use Modified Siwu Tang (Four-Substance Decoction). If fatigue from early activity, named Rulao (Confinement Labor), use Modified Chaihu Tang (Bupleurum Decoction), Fuling Tang (Poria Decoction), or Buzhong Yiqi Tang (Tonify the Middle and Augment the Qi Decoction). If fullness and belching, food injury; treat with Zhisuo Erchen Tang (Immature Orange and Aged Tangerine Peel Two-Chen Decoction).
Postpartum frequent urination is treated with Tusizi Wan (Cuscuta Pill). Alternatively, one pork kidney (membrane removed), three slices of ginger, two dates, decocted and taken.
[Tusizi Wan] Wuzhuyu (Evodiae Fructus), Baiji (Bletillae Rhizoma), Bailian (Tinosporae Radix), Fuling (Poria), Chenpi (Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium) (each 1 liang), Xixin (Asari Radix et Rhizoma, 5 qian), Rougui (Cinnamomi Cortex), Wuweizi (Schisandrae Fructus), Niuxi (Achyranthis Bidentatae Radix), Houpo (Magnoliae Officinalis Cortex), Baifu (Aconiti Carmichaelii Radix Preparata), Renshen (Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma), Danggui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix), Ruxiang (Olibanum), Moyao (Myrrha), Tusizi (Cuscutae Semen) (each 4 liang).
Prepare pills on a Renzi day. Take 15 pills per dose, two doses after menstruation ends. This formula is universally applicable for men and women. The Prime Minister's wife, childless at 39, bore nine children after taking this pill.
Although postpartum Qi and Blood are deficient, excessive tonification is inadvisable; use Danggui San (Angelica Powder), which is Siwu Tang (Four-Substance Decoction) removing Dihuang (Rehmanniae Radix), adding Baizhu (Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma) and Huangqin (Scutellariae Radix).
Postpartum continuous bleeding is treated with Siwu Tang (Four-Substance Decoction) added with Shengdi (Rehmanniae Radix), Jingjie (Schizonepetae Spica), and Suke Tan (Charred Corn Silk Capsule). Women who nurse and have amenorrhea for 3-4 years need no medication; menses resume naturally after weaning.
Women with weak Yuan Zang (Original Viscera) qi, leading to infertility and various diseases, should take Jiyin Dan (Nourish Yin Pill). For all masses, cold pain, leukorrhea, metrorrhagia, and leukorrhea, if untreated, infertility results. This formula removes old blood and generates new blood, harmonizing blood for conception.

Honey pills, 6 pills per liang. Take 1 pill per dose, washed down with wine, supplemented with glutinous rice porridge.
Women with irregular physiology fearing childbirth can take Jiulong Dan (Nine Dragons Pill) to prevent pregnancy. Why? This herb fills the uterine membrane with fat, preventing conception. To conceive later, take Cheqianzi (Plantaginis Semen) powder with warm wine, 1 qian per dose. After several doses, conception is possible. This is an excellent method.

Powder mixed with wine into pills. Take 30-50 pills per dose, with wine or salt water. Men taking it experience seminal emission and robust health; women taking it become infertile.
