Yang Wei Vessel. It maintains the Yang vessels. Its vessel originates from the convergence of all Yang vessels and, together with the Yin Wei Vessel, maintains and connects the entire body. If Yang Qi fails to maintain the Yang, the body becomes flaccid and unable to hold itself together. It converges at Jianjing (GB21). In the head, it meets the Foot-Shaoyang Gallbladder Channel at Yangbai (GB14), ascends to Benshen (GB13) and Linqi (GB15), continues upward to Zhengying (GB17), follows Naokong (GB18), descends to Fengchi (GB20). Its meeting with the Du Vessel occurs at Fengfu (DU16) and Yamen (DU15). The *Nan Jing* states: "Disease of the Yang Wei Vessel involves suffering from chills and fever." This refers to manifestations emitted by the Qi of the Yang Wei Vessel. There are twenty-four acupoints in total.
Jinmen (BL63) (below the lateral malleolus) Yangjiao (GB35) (seven cun above the lateral malleolus) Shu (SI9) (behind the shoulder, upper edge of the scapula) Tianding (LI17) (above the clavicular fossa) Jianjing (GB21) (on top of the shoulder)
Fengfu (DU16) (at the hairline) Yamen (DU15) (behind Fengfu)
For the above acupoints, if there is suffering from chills and fever, needle them.
Yin Wei Vessel. It maintains the Yin vessels. Its vessel originates from the intersection of all Yin vessels. If Yin Qi fails to maintain the Yin, one feels melancholic and loses willpower. The points where the Qi of the Yin Wei Vessel emerges are Tiantu (CV22) and Lianquan (CV23) of the Yin Wei Vessel. The *Nan Jing* states: "Disease of the Yin Wei Vessel involves suffering from heart pain." This refers to manifestations emitted by the Qi of the Yin Wei Vessel. There are twelve acupoints in total.
Zhubin (KI9) (above the medial malleolus) Fuai (ST23) (below Riyue GB24) Dahuang (SP15) (below Fuai) Fushé (SP16) (below Fujie SP14) Qimen (LR14) (below the nipple) Tiantu (CV22) (below the laryngeal prominence) Lianquan (CV23) (above the laryngeal prominence)
For the above acupoints, if there is suffering from heart pain, needle them.
The Dai Vessel originates from the hypochondrium and encircles the body once. When diseased, the waist and abdomen become flaccid and lax, resembling a bag filled with water. The points where its Qi emerges are located below the hypochondrium.
Daimai (GB26) (one cun eight fen below the hypochondrium) Weidao (GB27)
For the above acupoints, if diseases present as described above, needle them.

In excess conditions, pain throughout the body occurs; treat by reducing. In deficiency conditions, flaccidity of all joints occurs; treat by tonifying.
All these fifteen Luo-Connecting Vessels manifest visibly in excess conditions and sink/disappear in deficiency conditions. If not visible upon inspection, seek them above and below. Human meridians differ, and the branching sites of Luo-Connecting Vessels vary.
Furthermore, according to notes: The Major Luo-Connecting Vessel of the Stomach is named Xuli (ST17). Its pulsation is palpable through the clothing, reflecting the Zong Qi (Gathering Qi). However, it does not belong to the categories of tonification and reduction. Since the prosperity or decline of Qi in the Middle Jiao inherently reflects tonification and reduction, it is simply that because it does not branch off to other meridians, it is excluded from the list of the fifteen Luo-Connecting Vessels. This is why Fenglong is listed but Xuli is not, is it not?
