独活（三分）、黄芩、川芎、当归、荜茇（各二两）、丁香（一两）

取松脂削尖如锥子状，塞入龋齿孔内，片刻之后，龋虫会顺着松脂爬出来。（出自《外台秘要》卷二十二）

Chuanxiong Rhizoma (Chuanxiong), Asarum Root (Xixin), Saposhnikovia Root (Fangfeng), Alum (Bianshi - burned until juices are exhausted), Aconite Lateral Root Preparata (Fuzi - processed), Veratrum Root (Lilu), Ma Cao (Aconitum coreanum root/stem)
These seven ingredients, in equal parts, are pounded and sifted into powder. Wrap in cotton like a pill size, soak in wine, apply heat to the affected area, hold in the mouth without swallowing the juice. (From *Waitai Mi Yao*, Vol. 22)

Angelica Pubescens Root (Duhuo) (3 fen), Scutellaria Root (Huangqin), Chuanxiong Rhizoma (Chuanxiong), Angelica Sinensis Root (Danggui), Long Pepper Fruit (Bibo) (each 2 liang), Clove (Dingxiang) (1 liang)
These six ingredients are sliced, boiled in 5 sheng of water to obtain 3 sheng, strain off the dregs, gently swish for a long time, spit out, and repeat. (From *Waitai Mi Yao*, Vol. 22)

Hold horse urine in the mouth, swish according to the side of pain; it resolves within three to five mouthfuls. (From *Waitai Mi Yao*, Vol. 22)

Rehmannia Root Recens (Shengdihuang), Cinnamon Twig Core (Guixin)
