人有肛门内外四旁，忽然生长红瘰，先痒后痛，渐渐成痔，日久不愈，此症皆由湿热所成也，多因地气之
湿，加以嗜饮酒热之毒，所以结于肛门边而不能遽化矣。夫肛
门通于大肠，若内有湿热，宜从大肠而出，何以结而成痔？以湿热在大肠不能久留，势必尽趋于肛门，而肛门
乃大肠之锁钥，未免有开闭防范之意，不容湿热出于其外，则蓄积日久，而湿热之毒，肛门独受其害矣。虽有
内痔外痔之殊，而其为湿毒则一也。治之法，何能舍湿毒而他求乎？肛门虽去脾胃甚远，而化湿热之毒，则不
能不假道于脾胃，肛门未受其益，而脾胃先受其损，所以多无成功也。故用药必须无损于脾胃，而有益于肛门，
治之始能奏功也。方用益后汤∶
山药（一两） 茯苓（一两） 白芍（一两） 玉米（一两） 地榆（三钱） 山甲（炒，一片）
水煎服，四剂宽快；再四剂愈后，将此方每味加十倍研末，炼蜜为丸，梧子大，空心开水送服五钱，服完
即愈。此方利水清热，无伤于脾胃，而有益于肛门，两全之道也。
秘诀∶
内外生痔益后汤，山药茯苓芍两襄，
玉米一两地榆三，山甲一片土炒黄，
四剂宽快再四愈，加倍研末蜜丸尝。
此症用榆槐饮亦效∶
槐米（二钱） 地榆（三钱） 茯苓（三钱） 车前子（三钱）
水煎服，四剂痊愈。
秘诀∶
榆槐饮中药四味，槐米二钱三地榆，
茯苓车前亦用三，四剂痊愈无容虑。
人有肛门先因有痔疮，因不慎酒色，遂至腐烂，变成漏疮，不能收口，生长肉管，流脓淌血，甚以为苦。
医人治法，多用刀针挂线，徒受苦楚，内毒未除，外口难长，经年累月，不能奏功。盖肛门之肉，不比他处之
肉，非横生则纵生也。而肛门之肉有纵有横，最难生合。况大便不时经过，又易损伤，然经刀针挂线，是已

漏，反伤气血，亦难奏功也。方用青龟丸∶
乌龟（一个） 茯苓（五两） 薏苡仁（四两） 羊蹄后爪（四对） 土炒山甲（五钱） 人参（二两）
黄（八两） 当归（三两） 白芷（二两） 槐米（二两） 瓦松（二钱） 干青苔（一两）
共研末，将乌龟用石臼捣死，同药拌匀，锅内蒸熟，焙干为末，炼蜜为丸，梧子大，每早开水送服三钱，
服至半月漏自干，连服两月而漏痂满，一料服完痊愈。必须严戒酒色三月，不然不能奏功。此方去湿而不散
气，散毒而不损血，补漏于无形，填隙于有孔。愿人坚持三月酒色之戒，以去十年之病也。
秘诀∶
青龟丸用苓薏仁，羊蹄后爪山甲参，
八归三芷槐二，瓦松二钱苔两斟。
人有大便时先射出血，而后便粪，人以为便血之病也，谁知是肛门内生血痔乎？夫痔久必变为漏，宜流脓
血。但人之受病不同，而见症亦异。此症得于多饮烧酒，酿成热毒，走于直肠，不得遽泄，乃结成小痔而不化，
久则皮破血流，此乃血出于直肠之外，非出血直肠之中，乃膀胱之血也。膀胱化气而不化血，酒毒渗入膀胱，
则气化水，出于阴器。酒毒燥血，无路可出，而毒结于直肠之外，毒而内攻，而直肠之痔生矣。然生痔必有其
隙可乘，而膀胱之血注之久，且以血引血，不独膀胱之血尽归之矣。乘大便之开闭，血先夺门而出，故从大便
而直射，正见其欲出之速耳。治法似宜急杜其血隙，使之无出路为第一策。然私窦既开，漏血易泄，不急清其
上游之源，而但截其下流之隙，非计之善也。方用清源散∶
全蝎（二两） 土炒山甲（二两） 珍珠（豆腐煮，三钱） 瓦松（一条）
研末，每日开水调一茶匙服之，服至一月即效。如不愿调服，用米饭捣烂，为丸梧子大，每日开水送下二
十丸。服时必须戒酒色。
秘诀∶
清源全蝎用二两，山甲亦二土炒黄，
珍珠三钱豆腐煮，瓦松一条阴干尝，
每日开水调茶匙，服至一月妙无方。
又方∶
茯苓（五钱） 白芍（五钱） 白术（五钱） 白芷（三钱） 槐花（三钱） 人参（三钱） 地榆（三钱）
黄连（三钱） 车前子（二钱） 葛根（二钱） 三七参（二钱） 山甲（研冲一两）
水煎，调山甲、三七参末冲服，三剂血减去黄连，再三剂则愈矣。严戒酒色三月可痊。此方妙在以黄连解
酒热之毒，所谓先清其源也。盖上游无病，而下流自安。况诸药分发得宜，无非去湿化热之味，堵塞有方，何
患洪水冲决哉？
秘诀∶
肉痔苓芍术五钱，芷槐三钱参榆连，
车葛二钱三七参，一钱山甲冲服安，
三剂去连再三剂，严戒酒色乃可痊。
方用止射丹亦效∶

人们肛门内外四周，突然长出红色的结节，先感到瘙痒，随后疼痛，逐渐形成痔疮。日子久了不愈合，这种病症都是由湿热引起的，大多是因为地气中的湿气，加上嗜好饮酒摄入的热毒，所以凝结在肛门边缘而不能迅速化解。
肛门与大肠相通，如果体内有湿热，本应从大肠排出，为什么反而凝结成痔呢？这是因为湿热在大肠中不能久留，势必全部趋向于肛门，而肛门是大肠的门户（锁钥），难免有开闭防范的作用，不允许湿热从外部排出，于是蓄积日久，湿热的毒害便由肛门独自承受了。虽然有内痔和外痔的区别，但它们作为湿毒的本质是一样的。治疗的方法，怎么能抛开湿毒去寻求其他途径呢？
肛门虽然距离脾胃很远，但要化解湿热的毒邪，就不能不经过脾胃。肛门还没得到益处，脾胃却先受到了损害，所以很多治疗都难以成功。因此用药必须不损伤脾胃，而对肛门有益，治疗才能见效。方剂用益后汤：山药（一两）、茯苓（一两）、白芍（一两）、玉米（一两）、地榆（三钱）、穿山甲（炒制，一片）。水煎服，服用四剂后症状缓解；再服四剂痊愈后，将此方每味药增加十倍研成粉末，用炼蜜制成丸药，如梧桐子大小，空腹时开水送服五钱，服完即愈。此方利水清热，不伤脾胃，而有益于肛门，是两全其美的方法。
秘诀歌诀：
内外生痔益后汤，山药茯苓芍两襄，
玉米一两地榆三，山甲一片土炒黄，
四剂宽快再四愈，加倍研末蜜丸尝。
此症使用榆槐饮也有效：槐米（二钱）、地榆（三钱）、茯苓（三钱）、车前子（三钱）。水煎服，四剂痊愈。

有人肛门原本就有痔疮，因为不慎节制酒色，导致腐烂，变成漏疮，无法收口，生长出肉管，流脓淌血，非常痛苦。医生治疗方法，多用刀针挂线，徒然让人受苦，内部毒邪未除，外部伤口难长，经年累月，不能奏效。大概肛门的肉，不像身体其他部位的肉，不是横着长就是竖着长。而肛门的肉纵横交错，最难愈合。况且大便不时经过，又容易损伤，既然已经用了刀针挂线，是受伤后再加伤害，怎么能迅速长出皮肉呢？所以刀线和挂线不可轻率使用，只有消除湿热的毒邪，进行内治才是上策。然而漏疮生成已久，气血必然虚弱，单纯止漏，反而损伤气血，也难以见效。方剂用青龟丸：乌龟（一个）、茯苓（五两）、薏苡仁（四两）、羊后爪（四对）、土炒穿山甲（五钱）、人参（二两）、黄芪（八两）、当归（三两）、白芷（二两）、槐米（二两）、瓦松（二钱）、干青苔（一两）。
共研成粉末，将乌龟用石臼捣死，同药物拌匀，在锅内蒸熟，焙干研末，用炼蜜制成丸药，如梧桐子大小，每天早晨开水送服三钱，服用半个月漏疮自然干枯，连续服用两个月漏疮结痂愈合，一料药服完即痊愈。必须严格戒除酒色三个月，否则不能见效。此方祛湿而不耗散正气，散毒而不损伤血液，在无形中去补漏，在有孔处填补缝隙。希望人们坚持三个月戒除酒色，以去除十年的疾病。

研成粉末，每日开水调服一茶匙，服用一个月即见效。如果不愿调服，用米饭捣烂，制成如梧桐子大小的丸药，每日开水送下二十丸。服药时必须戒除酒色。
秘诀歌诀：
清源全蝎用二两，山甲亦二土炒黄，
珍珠三钱豆腐煮，瓦松一条阴干尝，
每日开水调茶匙，服至一月妙无方。
又一方：茯苓（五钱）、白芍（五钱）、白术（五钱）、白芷（三钱）、槐花（三钱）、人参（三钱）、地榆（三钱）、黄连（三钱）、车前子（二钱）、葛根（二钱）、三七参（二钱）、穿山甲（研粉冲服，一两）。
水煎，调入穿山甲、三七参粉末冲服，三剂后血量减少，去掉黄连，再服三剂则痊愈。严格戒除酒色三个月可治愈。此方妙在以黄连解除酒热之毒，所谓先清其源头。上游没有病，下游自然安宁。况且诸药分发得当，无非是去湿化热的药味，堵塞有方，还担心洪水冲决吗？
秘诀歌诀：

People have red nodules (red lumps) suddenly growing around the four sides inside and outside the anus, first feeling itching, then pain, gradually forming hemorrhoids (hemorrhoidal disease). If not healed for a long time, this condition is caused by damp-heat (Damp-Heat), mostly due to the dampness of the earth's qi, combined with the heat toxin from indulging in alcohol, so it condenses at the edge of the anus and cannot dissolve quickly.
The anus connects to the large intestine. If there is damp-heat internally, it should exit through the large intestine; why does it condense into hemorrhoids? This is because damp-heat cannot stay long in the large intestine and must inevitably rush towards the anus. The anus serves as the lock and key (gatekeeper) of the large intestine, having a tendency to open and close for prevention, not allowing damp-heat to exit externally. Thus, accumulating over time, the toxicity of damp-heat is suffered solely by the anus. Although there are differences between internal hemorrhoids and external hemorrhoids, their nature as damp-toxicity is the same. How can the treatment method abandon damp-toxicity and seek elsewhere? Although the anus is far from the spleen and stomach, resolving the toxicity of damp-heat cannot bypass the spleen and stomach. The anus gains no benefit, while the spleen and stomach suffer damage first, which is why many treatments fail. Therefore, medication must not harm the spleen and stomach but benefit the anus, only then can the treatment achieve success. Use the formula Yi Hou Tang (Benefit Posterior Decoction): Dioscoreae Rhizoma (Shanyao, 1 liang), Poria (Fuling, 1 liang), Paeoniae Radix Alba (Baishao, 1 liang), Zea Mays (Yumi, 1 liang), Sanguisorbae Radix (Diyu, 3 qian), Manis Squama (Shanjia, stir-fried, 1 slice). Decoct in water and take orally. After four doses, symptoms will relieve; after another four doses, it will heal. Then, increase each ingredient tenfold, grind into powder, mix with refined honey to make pills the size of guineafowl seeds. Take 5 qian with warm water on an empty stomach. Upon finishing, one will be cured. This formula promotes urination and clears heat, does not harm the spleen and stomach, but benefits the anus, a perfect solution.

For internal and external hemorrhoids, Yi Hou Tang,
Shanyao, Fuling, Baishao, two liang each,
One liang Yumi, three qian Diyu,
One slice Shanjia stir-fried yellow,
Four doses bring relief, four more cure,
Double amount ground, honey pills try.
Using Yu Huai Yin (Sophora and Sanguisorba Decoction) for this condition is also effective: Sophorae Flos (Huaimi, 2 qian), Sanguisorbae Radix (Diyu, 3 qian), Poria (Fuling, 3 qian), Plantaginis Semen (Cheqianzi, 3 qian). Decoct in water and take orally. Cured in four doses.
Secret rhyme:
Four herbs in Yu Huai Yin,
Two qian Huaimi, three qian Diyu,
Three qian Fuling and Cheqianzi too,
Four doses cure, no need to worry.
Some people initially had hemorrhoids in the anus. Due to imprudence regarding alcohol and sexual activity, they became ulcerated, turning into fistulas (anal fistula), unable to close, growing flesh tubes, oozing pus and blood, causing great suffering. Doctors' treatments often use knives, needles, and hanging threads, merely causing suffering. Internal toxins remain unremoved, external wounds struggle to heal, year after year, achieving no success. The flesh of the anus differs from other parts of the body; it grows either horizontally or vertically. The flesh of the anus has both horizontal and vertical fibers, making it hardest to heal. Moreover, frequent passage of stool causes easy injury. Using knives, needles, and hanging threads means injuring what is already injured; how can skin and flesh grow rapidly? Therefore, knives and threads should not be used lightly. Eliminating damp-heat toxicity via internal treatment is superior. However, since the fistula has existed for a long time, Qi and Blood must be deficient. Merely stopping the leakage damages Qi and Blood further, making it difficult to succeed. Use the formula Qing Gui Wan (Green Turtle Pill): Testudo Chinensis Carapax et Plastrum (Wugui, 1 turtle), Poria (Fuling, 5 liang), Coicis Semen (Yiyiren, 4 liang), Ovis Aries Posterior Claw (Yangti Houzhao, 4 pairs), Manis Squama stir-fried with soil (Shanjia, 5 qian), Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma (Renshen, 2 liang), Astragali Radix (Huangqi, 8 liang), Angelicae Sinensis Radix (Danggui, 3 liang), Angelicae Dahuricae Radix (Baizhi, 2 liang), Sophorae Flos (Huaimi, 2 liang), Parmelia (Wasong, 2 qian), Dry Green Moss (Gan Qingtai, 1 liang).
Grind all into powder. Crush the turtle to death using a stone mortar, mix evenly with the herbs, steam in a pot until cooked, dry and roast into powder, mix with refined honey to make pills the size of guineafowl seeds. Take 3 qian with warm water every morning. After half a month, the fistula will naturally dry up; after two months of continuous use, scabs will cover the lesion. Finishing one course results in a complete cure. Strictly abstain from alcohol and sex for three months, otherwise, success cannot be achieved. This formula removes dampness without dispersing Qi, dissipates toxicity without damaging Blood, repairs leaks invisibly, and fills gaps visibly. May people persist in abstaining from alcohol and sex for three months to remove ten years of disease.

Qing Gui Wan uses Fuling and Yiyiren,
Sheep hind claws, Shanjia, Renshen,
Eight Danggui, three Baizhi, two Huaimi,
Two qian Wasong, one liang Qingtai measured.
When defecating, some people spray blood first, then pass stool. People think this is hematochezia (blood in stool), who knows it is a blood hemorrhoid generated inside the anus? Hemorrhoids that last long must turn into fistulas, flowing pus and blood. But people contract diseases differently, and symptoms vary. This condition arises from drinking excessive distilled spirits, brewing heat toxin, which travels to the rectum. Unable to excrete quickly, it forms small hemorrhoids that do not resolve. Over time, the skin breaks and blood flows. This blood comes from outside the rectum, not bleeding within the rectum, but from the Bladder. The Bladder transforms Qi but not Blood. Alcohol toxin seeps into the Bladder, transforming Qi into water, exiting via the genitalia. Alcohol toxin dries the Blood; with no outlet, the toxin condenses outside the rectum. Toxicity attacks inward, causing rectal hemorrhoids. However, generating hemorrhoids requires a gap to exploit. Long-term infusion of Bladder blood draws blood to itself. Taking advantage of the opening and closing of defecation, blood rushes out first, shooting directly from the stool, showing its urgency to exit. Treatment seems to urgently block the blood gap, preventing exit, as the primary strategy. However, once the private orifice opens, leaking blood is easy to discharge. Not clearing the upstream source urgently, but merely blocking the downstream gap, is not a good plan. Use the formula Qing Yuan San (Clear Source Powder): Scorpio (Quanxie, 2 liang), Manis Squama stir-fried with soil (Shanjia, 2 liang), Margarita (Zhenzhu, boiled in tofu, 3 qian), Parmelia (Wasong, 1 strip).
Grind into powder. Mix with warm water and take one teaspoon daily. Effective after one month. If unwilling to mix, mash rice, make pills the size of guineafowl seeds, take 20 pills with warm water daily. Must abstain from alcohol and sex during medication.
Secret rhyme:
Qing Yuan Quanxie uses two liang,
Shanjia also two, stir-fried yellow,
Three qian Zhenzhu boiled in tofu,
One strip Wasong dried in shade to taste,
Daily warm water mixed with a teaspoon,
One month of taking, wonderful and unique.
Another prescription: Poria (Fuling, 5 qian), Paeoniae Radix Alba (Baishao, 5 qian), Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma (Baizhu, 5 qen), Angelicae Dahuricae Radix (Baizhi, 3 qian), Sophorae Flos (Huaihua, 3 qian), Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma (Renshen, 3 qian), Sanguisorbae Radix (Diyu, 3 qian), Coptidis Rhizoma (Huanglian, 3 qian), Plantaginis Semen (Cheqianzi, 2 qian), Puerariae Radix (Gegen, 2 qian), Notoginseng Radix et Rhizoma (Sanqishen, 2 qian), Manis Squama (Shanjia, ground and taken with decoction, 1 liang).
Decoct in water, mix in Shanjia and Sanqishen powders, take orally. After three doses, blood loss decreases; remove Huanglian, take for another three doses to cure. Strictly abstain from alcohol and sex for three months to recover. This formula is ingenious in using Huanglian to resolve alcohol-heat toxicity, clearing the source first. If the upstream is free of disease, the downstream is naturally safe. Moreover, the distribution of various herbs is appropriate, all being ingredients to remove dampness and transform heat. With proper blocking, why fear floodwaters bursting the banks?

Meat hemorrhoids: Fuling, Baishao, Baizhu five qian,
Baizhi, Huaihua three qian, Renshen, Diyu, Huanglian,
Cheqian, Gegen two qian, Sanqishen,
One qian Shanjia taken with decoction brings peace,
Three doses remove Huanglian, three more doses,
Strictly abstain from alcohol and sex to recover.
The formula Zhi She Dan (Stop Shooting Elixir) is also effective: Scutellariae Radix (Huangqin, 3 qian), Sophorae Flos (Huaihua, 3 qian), Schizonepetae Spica (Jingjie, 3 qian), Parmelia (Wasong, 1 strip), Rehmanniae Radix Preparata (Shengdi, 1 liang), Angelicae Sinensis Radix (Danggui, 1 liang).
Decoct in water and take orally. Continuous intake for four doses stops the blood. Alternatively, increase this formula tenfold, grind into powder, refine honey to make pills the size of guineafowl seeds. Take 3 qian per dose, healing slowly.
