研匀，加酒，饭上蒸服。如腹胀如鼓，加芜荑末一钱；目翳腹大，加鸡内金更妙。

酒蒸熟，空心服。轻者一料，重者二三料，翳膜推去半边而愈。

A woman, due to fright, suffered from both eyes remaining open day and night. Using *Semen Pruni* (Liziren) three qian, boiled in wine and drunk, she recovered after becoming intoxicated; the effect was miraculous.
*Semen Cassiae* (Juemingzi) four liang (sun-dried, do not expose to fire, grind into fine powder), raw chicken liver (not touched by raw water). Mash the chicken liver, mix with three qian of *Semen Cassiae* powder, grind evenly, add wine, steam over rice until cooked, and take orally. If abdominal distension is drum-like, add one qian of *Piper longum* (Wuyi) powder; if there is corneal opacity (Yi) and abdominal swelling, adding *Endothelium Corneum Gigeriae Galli* (Jineijin) is even better.
Another prescription: *Natrii Sulfas* (Huoxiao) one liang, *Cinnabar* (Zhusha) three qian, grind together into powder. Use four fen each time, place inside a raw chicken liver (not touched by raw water), cut open the liver, insert the medicine, tie it securely, steam with wine until cooked, and take on an empty stomach. For mild cases, one dose suffices; for severe cases, two or three doses are needed, and the opacity will recede by half before recovery.
Yet another prescription: In the pediatric section regarding malnutrition (Gan disease), *Xiaogan Wuji San* is excellent to take. It can restore vision even if blindness has occurred.
A complete snake skin shed (Shetui), one liang of *Polyporus umbellatus* (Mapibo), fourteen seeds of *Gleditsia sinensis* (Zaojiazi) (those infested with insects must absolutely not be used). Place all together in a porcelain jar, seal tightly with salt mud.
One large radish, hollowed out, insert one raw egg white, wrap well, and plant in soil. After it flowers and sets seed, retrieve the egg white, grind finely, add one qian of *Calamina* (Lu Ganshi) (best when boiled in floating water, processed according to the method for making Zijin Gao mentioned earlier), five fen of real bear bile (Xiongdan), and one fen of plum-blossom borneol (Meihua Bingpian) from the top grade.
A small amount of white salt, dip a rush pith (Dengxin) into it and apply to the eye three to five times. It causes no pain and no obstruction; repeated use is effective. Alternatively, crush *Eleocharis tuberosa* (Biqie) to extract juice, make it into powder, remove dregs, and use the powder to drop into the eyes; this is very effective. If there is no improvement, treat according to *Neichuisan* for wind-fire eye pain and the various prescriptions for clouding opacity mentioned previously; all will recover.
*Xiaozhang Jiujing San*: *Scyllae Savignyi* (Shixie, ground fresh and fine) and *Flos Forsythiae* (Lianqiao) each one qian and half; *Cornu Saigae Tataricae* (Lingyangjiao), *Semen Cassiae* (Juemingzi), *Radix Stephaniae Tetrandrae* (Fangji), *Semen Ecliptae* (Chongweizi), *Fructus Tribuli* (Bajili) each one qian; *Radix Gentianae* (Longdancao, stir-fried with wine) and *Herba Equiseti Hiemalis* (Muzecao) each five fen; *Flos Chrysanthemi Indici* (Ganju) eight fen. Add two zhong of water, decoct to obtain eight fen, and take far after meals. This prescription can eliminate...
