败龟板炙，研细末，加冰片研匀，以麻油调搽即愈。
又方∶丁香末敷之，极效。
经霜上楝子三两，雄鼠粪三两，炙露蜂房三两，共研细末。每服三钱，陈酒送下，吃一
服，间二日再吃一服，神效。
初起并不疼痛，最恶之症，久之防成乳岩。每日用山慈菇一钱，胡桃肉三枚，共捣烂，
用酒送下，以散为度。如不急治，迟延日久，不免变患莫测。外仍用醋磨山慈菇涂之。
用诸药不效者，以寒水石一钱，研细末，和冰片五厘，用荸荠汁调搽，或荸荠粉加冰片
以水调搽，皆效。
凡大人，小儿胸间乳旁，各生红白瘰泡，浸淫疼痒，每处直长一条，连生十余个不等，
名曰帘珠倒挂，久则杀人。诸药不效者，用端午日人家檐口所挂刀茅，取下连根叶切碎，火
研末，香油调搽五六次即愈。此系一过路僧人所传，屡试屡效。
栝蒌一个（切碎），当归五钱，蒲公英三钱，乳香（去油）、没药（去油）各一钱，生甘

又方∶枸橘李切片炙研，每日酒调服二钱，服半月即愈。
凡妇人无论实乳虚乳，忽然红肿作痛，急将妇人梳篦上发间垢腻，剔净短发细发，刮下
垢腻，搓成小丸，外用雄黄裹之如桐子大，勿令患人知，以陈黄酒煮极热吞下，棉被覆盖，
一汗而愈。倘一服不效，再二三服亦可，数十年来，愈人以千计矣。

使用上述药物无效者，取寒水石一钱，研磨成细末，与冰片五厘混合，用荸荠汁调和涂抹；或者用荸荠粉加冰片用水调和涂抹，均有效。
凡是成人、小儿胸部乳房旁，各生出红白色的瘰疬水泡，浸淫蔓延且疼痛瘙痒，每处呈直线生长一条，连续生出一十余个不等，名叫“帘珠倒挂”，日久可致人死亡。诸药无效者，用端午节时人家屋檐下悬挂的刀茅草，取下连根叶切碎，火焙后研成粉末，用香油调和涂抹五六次即可痊愈。此方是一位过路僧人传授，屡试屡效。

凡是妇人无论实证之乳或虚证之乳，突然红肿疼痛，急取妇人梳篦上发间的垢腻污垢，剔除净短发和细发，刮下垢腻，搓成小丸，外用雄黄包裹如梧桐子大小，不要让患者知道，用陈年黄酒煮至极热后吞服，用棉被覆盖身体，出一身汗即可痊愈。如果服一次无效，再服两三次也可以，数十年来，治愈的人数以千计。
Prepared Testudinis Carapax et Plastrum (Bie Jia, 龟板) is roasted and ground into a fine powder. Borneol (Bingpian, 冰片) is added and mixed evenly. The mixture is blended with Sesame Oil (MAYOU, 麻油) and applied to the affected area for cure.
Another prescription: Powder of Caryophylli Flos (Dingxiang, 丁香) is applied topically, which is extremely effective.
Sesamum indicum seeds (Zhimazi, 芝麻) are fried until scorched and pounded into a paste. This paste is mixed with the oil sediment from a lamp holder and applied topically, causing the swelling to dissipate.
Fructus Meliae Toosendan (Shuangshang Shanglianzi, 上楝子) that has been exposed to frost, three taels; Excrement of male mouse (Xiongshufen, 雄鼠粪), three taels; Prepared Vespa Nidus (Lu Fengfang, 露蜂房), three taels. These are collectively ground into a fine powder. Each dose consists of three qian, taken with aged yellow wine. After one dose, take another after an interval of two days; this yields miraculous effects.
In the initial stage, there is no pain, but it is a most malignant condition; if prolonged, it may develop into Ru Yan (Breast Cancer, 乳岩). Daily, use one qian of Smilacis Glabrae Rhizoma (Shancigu, 山慈菇) and three hickory nuts. Pound them together into a paste and administer with wine until the mass dissipates. If not treated urgently, delay will lead to unpredictable complications. Externally, apply Smilacis Glabrae Rhizoma ground with vinegar to the lesion.
For cases where previous medications are ineffective, use one qian of Arsenosi Albus (Hanshuishi, 寒水石), ground into a fine powder, mixed with five li of Borneol. Blend with juice of Cyperi Rotundi (Biqi, 荸荠) for topical application. Alternatively, powder of Cyperi Rotundi mixed with Borneol and water can be used for topical application, both of which are effective.
In adults or children, red and white phlyctenae (vesicles) appear on either side of the chest near the breast. They spread, causing pain and itching, growing in a straight line, with more than ten appearing successively. This is named "Lian Zhu Dao Gua" (Curtain Beads Hanging Upside Down); if left untreated, it can be fatal. When other medicines fail, use the thatch grass (Dao Mao, 刀茅) hanging under the eaves of houses on the Dragon Boat Festival (Duanwu, 端午). Harvest it with roots and leaves, chop finely, dry-roast, and grind into powder. Mix with Sesame Oil and apply topically five or six times for cure. This prescription was transmitted by a passing monk and has proven effective repeatedly.
One Gualu Fructus (Gualou, 瓜蒌) (chopped), five qian of Angelicae Sinensis Radix (Danggui, 当归), three qian of Taraxaci Herba (Pugongying, 蒲公英), one qian each of Resina Incensi (Ruxiang, 乳香) (de-oiled) and Resina Myrrhae (Moyao, 没药) (de-oiled), two qian of Raw Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma (Sheng Gancao, 生甘草). [Note: The original text implies decoction but omits the method].
Another prescription: Slices of Citri Reticulatae Viridis (Goujuli, 枸橘李) are roasted and ground. Take two qian daily mixed with wine for half a month for recovery.
Regardless of whether the breast condition is excess-type or deficiency-type, if sudden redness, swelling, and pain occur, urgently scrape the dirt and grease from between the hairs of a woman's comb. Remove short and fine hairs, collect the grease, roll it into small pills, wrap each pill with Realgar (Xionghuang, 雄黄) to the size of a Chinese quince seed. Do not let the patient know. Boil these pills in aged yellow wine until very hot and swallow them. Cover the patient with a thick cotton quilt to induce sweating for cure. If one dose is ineffective, two or three doses may be taken. Over decades, thousands have been cured.
