Use Wulongcao (i.e., Cayratia japonica, also known as Wuzhao Long, commonly produced in Jiangsu and Zhejiang), fresh Honeysuckle (Sheng Yinhua), [missing herb]cao, and Plantago asiatica root and leaves (Cheqian genye). All four ingredients should be fresh herbs, used in equal parts, pounded into a mud-like consistency. Then mix with 1 liang of Chen Xiao Fen (a type of starch) and 5 fen of salt, pound again into a paste. Apply evenly over the swollen area, leaving one hole in the center.
