叶作枕。
有的头皮内有蛆出，以刀刮破皮，用丝瓜叶捣汁搽之，其蛆尽出即愈。如无丝瓜叶，以
杨柳叶代之亦效。
有人脑中似如鸟雀啾啾之声，耳内常鸣，以芎归汤治之，再以制南星、防风各一两为末
，以真黄牛脑子蒸熟捣丸，每服三钱，酒下，即愈。
有女子患乳痈，突然肿及头面，以蚯蚓粪晒干为末，用开水调搽头面，即全消矣。
头面无故生小疮，痒甚，次日即头重如山，又次日面目青紫，用回生至圣丹，生甘草五
钱，银花八两，元参三两，蒲公英三两，川芎一两，天花粉三钱，水煎，一服即愈。
又方∶用黑虎汤，元参八两，柴胡三钱，生甘草一两，以水十大碗煎至三大碗，二日服
完。生于头面，加川芎一两，附子三分；前后左右加当归二两，甘菊一两，附子三分。生于
四肢，加附子五分、白术二两，茯苓一两，一服即愈。

头面无故长出小疮，瘙痒剧烈，第二天即感到头重如压巨石，第三天面目呈现青紫色，使用回生至圣丹，配方为生甘草五钱、金银花八两、玄参三两、蒲公英三两、川芎一两、天花粉三钱，加水煎煮，服用一剂即可痊愈。
另一个方子：使用黑虎汤，玄参八两、柴胡三钱、生甘草一两，用水十碗煎至三碗，两天内服完。如果病生于头面，加川芎一两、附子三分；如果病生在前后左右部位，加当归二两、甘菊一两、附子三分；如果病生在四肢，加附子五分、白术二两、茯苓一两，服用一剂即可痊愈。
用茄子花擦拭患处即可痊愈。
另一个方子：用红花擦拭，可永不复发，效果极佳。
取火焰蛇一条（这种蛇红白相间），或者乌梢蛇更好，用一大罐水将蛇浸泡致死，取出蛇，用数升米浸泡剩下的水（用于洗头或熏洗）。

另一个方子：用熬制鸦片烟剩下的纸，用热水浸湿，敷贴在头上，效果极佳。
Treats yellow discharge from the nose, dizziness and headache.
Take about three chi of loofah vine (Luffae Fructus Caulis) near the root, burn it until charred but retaining its medicinal properties (charred), and grind into powder. Take 3 qian each time, taken with yellow wine after meals; extremely effective. Alternatively, use peach leaves to make a pillow.
In cases where maggots emerge from within the scalp, scrape the skin open with a knife, apply juice extracted from crushed loofah leaves (Luffae Folium) to the affected area; once all maggots are expelled, recovery occurs. If loofah leaves are unavailable, willow leaves (Salix Tenuifoliae Folium) can be used as a substitute with similar efficacy.
For individuals who perceive a chirping sound like birds in their brain and experience constant tinnitus in the ears, treat with Xionggui Tang (Szechwan Lovage and Angelica Decoction). Additionally, process Arisaema cum Bile (Zhi Nanting) and Saposhnikovia Root (Fangfeng), each 1 liang, grind into powder. Steam real cattle brain until cooked, mash into pills. Take 3 qian each time with wine for administration; recovery ensues.
A woman suffering from Ru Yong (acute mastitis) experienced sudden swelling extending to the head and face. Apply powder made from dried earthworm excrement (Qiu Yin Fen) mixed with boiling water to the head and face; the swelling completely subsides.
Small sores appear on the head and face without cause, accompanied by severe itching. The next day, the head feels heavy as if weighed down by mountains; on the second day, the face and eyes turn blue-purple. Use Huisheng Zhisheng Dan: Raw Licorice Root (Sheng Gancao) 5 qian, Honeysuckle Flower (Yinhua) 8 liang, Scrophularia Root (Yuanshen) 3 liang, Dandelion (Pugongying) 3 liang, Szechwan Lovage Rhizome (Chuanxiong) 1 liang, and Trichosanthes Root (Tianhuafen) 3 qian. Decoct in water; one dose results in cure.
Another prescription: Use Heihu Tang: Scrophularia Root (Yuanshen) 8 liang, Bupleurum Root (Chaihu) 3 qian, Raw Licorice Root (Sheng Gancao) 1 liang. Decoct in ten bowls of water until reduced to three bowls; consume over two days. If the lesion is on the head and face, add Szechwan Lovage Rhizome (Chuanxiong) 1 liang and Prepared Aconite Root (Fuzi) 3 fen; if on the front, back, left, or right, add Angelica Sinensis Root (Danggui) 2 liang, Chrysanthemum Morifolium (Ganju) 1 liang, and Prepared Aconite Root (Fuzi) 3 fen; if on the limbs, add Prepared Aconite Root (Fuzi) 5 fen, Atractylodes Macrocephala Rhizome (Baizhu) 2 liang, and Poria (Fuling) 1 liang. One dose results in cure.
Rubbing with eggplant flowers (Qie Hua) leads to immediate recovery.
Another prescription: Rubbing with Safflower (Honghua) prevents recurrence permanently; extremely effective.
Take one Flame Snake (Huo Yan She, characterized by red and white stripes), or Black Snake (Wu She) is even better. Soak the snake to death in a large jar of water, remove the snake, and use the remaining water infused with several sheng of rice (for washing or fumigation).
Another prescription: Heat a tile until hot, place an egg fried with scallions on the tile, and fumigate the head with the rising heat; the parasites will emerge and the condition will resolve spontaneously.
Another prescription: Use paper residue from smoking opium, moisten with hot water, and apply as a poultice to the head; extremely effective.
