鹅口者，白屑生满口舌如鹅之口也，不急治则杀人。先煎生甘草汤，用新软青布蘸擦口
内。另用薄荷三钱，黄柏二钱，硼砂五分，水飞青黛四分，朱砂二分，冰片二分，枯矾一钱
，元明粉一钱，共研极细末，每用少许，搽口舌上自愈。外用麝香一分，吴茱萸二分，巴豆
一粒（去壳），蓖麻子二粒（去壳），鲜生地三钱，共捣如泥，贴两足底涌泉穴（即足心），

又，小儿口中百病一切热毒方∶元明粉、硼砂、冰片末、朱砂、明雄黄、青黛、黄连黄
柏各二分，共研极细末，搽少许口角、舌上即愈。
又，口舌生疮方∶用吴茱萸研末，醋调贴两足心，过夜即愈。
又方∶明矾，厨房中灰尖吊，各等分为末，鸡蛋清调和成饼，敷两足心，布包过夜，愈
后洗去。
又，口疮不能吮乳方∶密陀僧，用生米醋调涂两足心，愈即洗去。
又，口疮并治马牙疳方∶人龙（即蛔虫）用尿洗净，瓦上焙脆研细末，加青黛、冰片少
许
又，口白舌硬不能吮乳，用巴豆一粒，麝香一厘，共研成丸，贴眉中心，俟舌变红赤色
即愈。
初生眼不开者，因孕妇饮食不节，恣情浓味，热毒熏蒸所致。用灯芯、黄连、秦皮、木
贼各一钱，煎汤频洗之自开。
又，以人中黄用滚水泡，或蒸取浓汁，频咽极妙。
又，急以粪清灌之。
又方∶生地、赤芍、甘草、菊花各等分，水煎服。名地黄汤。
又，外用熊胆、黄连各五分，煎汤洗眼。如眼胞烂，内仍服地黄汤，外用乳蒸黄连点目
又，月内目闭不开，羞明肿痛，生甘草，猪胆汁炙为末，米泔水调少许，灌之即愈。

另外，治疗小儿口中各种疾病及一切热毒的方子：元明粉、硼砂、冰片末、朱砂、明雄黄、青黛、黄连、黄柏各二分，共同研磨成极细的粉末，涂抹少许在嘴角和舌头上，即可痊愈。
另外，治疗口舌生疮的方子：用吴茱萸研成粉末，用醋调和后贴敷在双足心，过夜即可痊愈。
另一个方子：明矾，以及从厨房灰烬尖端挑取的灰（灶心土类），各等分研磨成粉末，用鸡蛋清调和成饼状，敷在双足心，用布包好过夜，痊愈后洗去。
另外，治疗口疮导致婴儿无法吸吮乳汁的方子：密陀僧，用生米醋调匀涂在双足心，痊愈后立即洗去。
另外，同时治疗口疮和马牙疳的方子：人龙（即蛔虫），用尿液洗净，在瓦片上焙干至脆，研磨成细末，加入少许青黛、冰片。
另外，治疗口白、舌硬导致无法吸吮乳汁，用巴豆一粒、麝香一厘，共同研磨制成丸剂，贴敷在两眉中心，等到舌头变成红赤色即可痊愈。
新生儿眼睛睁不开，是因为孕妇饮食不节制，恣意食用浓烈厚味的食物，导致热毒熏蒸所致。用灯芯、黄连、秦皮、木贼各一钱，煎汤频繁清洗眼部，眼睛自然就会睁开。
另外，用人中黄用滚水泡开，或者蒸取浓汁，频繁饮用效果极佳。
另一个方子：生地、赤芍、甘草、菊花各等分，用水煎服。名为地黄汤。
Aphthous stomatitis (鹅口疮), characterized by white debris filling the mouth and tongue like a goose's beak, is fatal if not treated promptly. First, decoct raw Gancao Tang (Licorice Decoction) and use a new, soft blue cloth to dip and wipe the inside of the mouth. Separately, take 3 qian of Bohe Herba (Menthae Haplocalycis Herba), 2 qian of Huangbai Cortex Phellodendri, 5 fen of Pengsha Borax, 4 fen of Qingdai Folium Indigoferae (prepared by water flotation), 2 fen of Zhusha Cinnabaris, 2 fen of Bingpian Borneolum Syntheticum, 1 qian of Kufan Alum, and 1 qian of Yuanming Powder Mirabilite. Grind them together into an extremely fine powder. Apply a small amount to the mouth and tongue for self-healing. Externally, mix 1 fen of Shexiang Moschus, 2 fen of Wuzhuyu Fructus Evodiae, 1 grain of Badou Fructus Crotonis (shelled), 2 grains of Bimazi Semen Ricini (shelled), and 3 qian of Xianshengdi Radix Rehmanniae Recens. Pound them into a paste and apply to the Yongquan acupoint (K1, located at the center of the sole) on both feet. Wrap with a cloth overnight.
Another prescription for all diseases in the infant's mouth and all heat-toxins: Equal parts (2 fen each) of Yuanming Powder Mirabilite, Pengsha Borax, Bingpian Borneolum Syntheticum, Zhusha Cinnabaris, Mingxionghuang Realgar, Qingdai Folium Indigoferae, Huanglian Rhizoma Coptidis, and Huangbai Cortex Phellodendri. Grind into an extremely fine powder and apply a small amount to the corners of the mouth and tongue for cure.
Another prescription for aphthous ulcers in the mouth and tongue: Grind Wuzhuyu Fructus Evodiae into powder, mix with vinegar, and apply to the soles of both feet. Cure occurs overnight.
Another prescription: Equal parts of Mingfan Alum and ash from the tip of the kitchen stove (Zaoxin Tu). Grind into powder, mix with egg white to form a cake, apply to the soles of both feet, wrap with cloth overnight, and wash off after healing.
Another prescription for aphthous ulcers preventing suckling: Mix Miduoseng Lead Monoxide with raw rice vinegar, apply to the soles of both feet, and wash off immediately upon healing.
Another prescription treating aphthous ulcers and Ma Ya Gan (horse tooth canker): Renlong (Ascaris lumbricoides), washed with urine, baked on tiles until crisp, ground into fine powder. Add a small amount of Qingdai Folium Indigoferae and Bingpian Borneolum Syntheticum.
Another prescription for white coating and stiff tongue preventing suckling: Use 1 grain of Badou Fructus Crotonis and 1 li of Shexiang Moschus. Grind together into pills and apply to the center between the eyebrows. Cure occurs when the tongue turns red.
Infants unable to open their eyes at birth are caused by the pregnant woman's irregular diet, indulgence in rich and strong flavors, leading to heat-toxin steaming. Decoct Dengxin Caulis Junci, Huanglian Rhizoma Coptidis, Qinpi Cortex Fraxini, and Muzei Equiseti Herba (each 1 qian) in water and frequently wash the eyes; they will open naturally.
Another method: Use Renzhonghuang Human Waste Extract soaked in boiling water, or steam to obtain concentrated juice, and drink frequently for excellent results.
Another method: Urgently administer Fenqing Pig Urine.
Another prescription: Equal parts of Shengdi Radix Rehmanniae Preparata, Chishao Radix Paeoniae Rubra, Gancao Radix Glycyrrhizae, and Juhua Flos Chrysanthemi. Decoct in water and take orally. Named Dihuang Tang (Rehmannia Decoction).
Externally, decoct Xiongdan Bear Gallbladder and Huanglian Rhizoma Coptidis (each 5 fen) in water to wash the eyes. If the eyelids are ulcerated, continue internal administration of Dihuang Tang (Rehmannia Decoction) and externally apply Ruzheng Huanglian Rhizoma Coptidis steamed with milk to the eyes.
For infants within one month whose eyes remain closed, with photophobia, swelling, and pain: Use raw Gancao Radix Glycyrrhizae, roast with Zhu Danzhi Pig Bile, grind into powder, mix with Mi Tan Water (rice washing water), and administer a small amount for cure.
