寒食饧糖（即寒食所做米糖，无则不论何月所做米糖亦可）点入，待其发痒，一拔即出。
取粗牛膝一段，约二寸长，本人自行嚼烂如泥，吐出搓丸，塞于两眼角，其泪流必多，
少刻，泥沙裹药尽出，其目随愈。左眼以牛膝口内右嚼，右眼左嚼。虽肿痛欲瞎，无不立效
，屡试如神。
好墨磨浓，用新笔蘸墨点眼角内，闭目片时，其丝自然成块，用手轻抹即出。杂物入目
亦可治，并可散翳，奇效之至。
又方∶凡诸药不效，赤肿痛甚者，以滚水一杯，入食盐少许，明矾三钱，将舌尖浸入水
中片刻，其丝自落水中而愈。
又方∶火麻仁一合，捣碎，井水一碗，泡半刻，搅匀，将舌浸水中，涎沫自出。神效。

又一方：如果被火药冲击眼睛，眼看就要失明，急忙用温热的小便频繁清洗眼睛，即可痊愈。或者用野三七叶捣碎融匀后敷贴，效果更佳。忌食酒类和热性食物。
又一方：如果眼珠受伤突出，赶紧揉按使其复位。取一片生猪肉，撒上少许当归和赤石脂粉末，贴在肉上覆盖于眼部，即可痊愈。
又一方：眼睛被打伤出现青肿，将生半夏研成粉末，用水调匀后涂抹患处，即可痊愈。
使用前文提到的“风火眼痛吹鼻散”，每日向鼻内吹入数次，眼睛自然就会睁开。
寒食饧糖（即制作寒食节所用的米糖，如果没有，无论哪个月份制作的米糖都可以）滴入眼中，待其产生痒感时，轻轻一拔即可取出异物。
取一段粗壮的牛膝，长约二寸，由患者本人自行咀嚼成泥状，吐出后搓成丸药，塞入两眼眼角，眼泪会大量流出，片刻之后，泥沙包裹着药物全部排出，眼睛随即痊愈。左眼需在口腔右侧咀嚼，右眼则在左侧咀嚼。即使肿痛严重看似要失明，也无不立即见效，多次尝试如同神助。
用好墨磨出浓墨汁，用新毛笔蘸墨点入眼角内，闭目片刻，异物丝线自然结成块状，用手轻轻抹拭即可取出。杂物入眼也可治疗，并能消散翳障，功效极其神奇。
又一方：凡是用其他药物无效，且眼睛红肿疼痛严重的，取一杯滚开水，加入少许食盐和三钱明矾，将舌尖浸入水中片刻，异物丝线自然会落入水中而痊愈。
Rhizoma Epimedii (Yinyanghuo) and Rhizoma et Radix Salviae Miltiorrhizae (Weilingxian), each 1 qian, decocted in water and taken orally.
Apply hot old ginger to the glabella (between the eyebrows); it will heal immediately.
For cases where the eyeball is protruded due to trauma, or swollen and painful from contact injury, or damaged by cannon fire: Mash fresh pumpkin flesh into a paste and apply thickly to the affected area. Secure with a cloth bandage without moving it. As the swelling subsides and pain stabilizes, replace the dressing if it dries out. If the pupil remains intact, vision can be restored. Older pumpkins are preferred. If pumpkin is unavailable, leaves of *Panax notoginseng* (Ye Sanqi) may be applied. Alternatively, soaked and mashed Rehmanniae Radix Praeparata (Sheng Dihuang) in wine can be used (Northern Chinese call pumpkin "Wagua").
Another prescription: Apply saliva from cattle's mouth twice daily to the eye, avoiding wind exposure; it will heal. Avoid alcohol and all heating foods.
Another prescription: For eyes nearly blinded by gunpowder impact, urgently wash the eyes frequently with warm urine; it will heal. Alternatively, apply mashed *Panax notoginseng* (Ye Sanqi) leaves for better effect. Avoid alcohol and heating foods.
Another prescription: For protruding eyeballs due to injury, quickly massage them back into place. Take a slice of raw pork, sprinkle with a small amount of powdered Angelicae Sinensis Radix (Danggui) and Halloysitum Rubrum (Chishizhi), and apply this meat over the eye; it will heal.
Another prescription: For bruised and swollen eyes from blunt trauma, grind Rhizoma Pinelliae Preparatum (Sheng Banxia) into powder, mix with water, and apply topically; it will heal.
Use the previously mentioned "Wind-Fire Eye Pain Nasal Snuff Powder" (Fenghuo Yantong Chuibi San), insufflated into the nose several times daily; the eyes will open naturally.
Hanshi Tang (a rice sugar candy made during the Hanshi Festival; any rice sugar candy works if unavailable): Instill into the eye. When itching occurs, gently pull out the foreign body.
Extract juice from Lithospermi Radix (Zicao) and instill into the eye; the foreign body will dissipate.
Take a segment of coarse Achyranthis Bidentatae Radix (Niuxi), about two cun long. The patient should chew it thoroughly into a paste, spit it out, roll it into pills, and insert them into the corners of both eyes. This will induce profuse tearing. Within a short time, sand and mud will carry the medication out, and the eyes will heal immediately. Chew on the right side of the mouth for the left eye, and on the left side for the right eye. Even if severe swelling and pain threaten blindness, immediate efficacy is guaranteed; repeated trials prove its miraculous nature.
Instill juice from fresh lotus root (Sheng Ou); the foreign body will exit naturally.
Grind high-quality ink to a thick consistency. Dip a new brush into the ink and touch the inner corner of the eye. Keep the eye closed for a moment; the filamentous foreign body will naturally clump together and can be gently wiped away. This also treats other foreign bodies and can disperse corneal opacities (yi), with extraordinary efficacy.
Another prescription: For cases unresponsive to other medicines, characterized by severe redness, swelling, and pain: Take one cup of boiling water, add a little salt and three qian of Alum (Mingfan). Immerse the tip of the tongue in the water for a moment; the filamentous foreign body will fall into the water, and healing will occur.
Another prescription: Take one he of Cannabis Fructus (Huomaren), crush it, and soak in one bowl of well water for a short while. Stir well and immerse the tongue in the water; salivary foam will bring out the foreign body. Miraculous efficacy.
