Another prescription: Use bright white pine resin, grind into extremely fine powder, mix with male pig bone marrow, and apply. Even for cases unhealed by other medicines over three to five years, this prescription is highly effective. Its efficacy does not lie solely in the spirit of pine resin, but primarily in the technique of grinding, mixing, and applying. There is a great secret here, which is crucial. If using the left hand, stroke smoothly from start to finish with the left hand; if using the right hand, stroke smoothly from start to finish with the right hand. Always use one hand smoothly throughout; do not switch hands or reverse direction. Mixing and application must also be done in one smooth motion. Strictly avoid handling by women during menstruation.

Alternatively, hold one end high towards the fire and the other end low to let the sap flow out.
