Take two liang each of Shichuangshi (Qiushi, 秋石) [or substitute with Renzhongbai, 人中白], Cornus Cervi Cornu Colla (Lujiaojiao, 鹿角胶) [stir-fried with bean flour until it forms beads], and Sangpiaoxiao (Mantis Egg Case, 桑螵蛸) [parched], along with four liang of Poria (Fuling, 茯苓). Grind all into fine powder, mix with rice paste to make pills the size of Sophora japonica seeds. Take seven... [text breaks here] extremely difficult to be effective; only by using one liang of Achyranthis Bidentatae Radix (Niuxi, 牛膝) added with one qian of Frankincense (Ruxiang, 乳香), decocted in water and taken continuously for several doses, can it be cured.
Another prescription: Crush Chinese Chive (Jiucai, 韭菜) to extract juice, drink it on an empty stomach, and then wash the penis with a decoction of Chinese Chive.
Another prescription: Boil moss from the bottom of boats in water and take orally.
Another prescription: Decoct the roots of Dolichos Lablab (Baibiandou, 白扁豆) together with the roots of Boehmeria nivea (Zhuma, 苎麻) and take orally; both are extremely effective. However, if the condition is due to seminal emission during dreams, these should not be taken.
In treating Blood Lin (Xue Lin, 血淋), Stone Lin (Shi Lin, 石淋), Flesh Lin (Rou Lin, 肉淋), Paste Lin (Gao Lin, 膏淋), and Exhaustion Lin (Lao Lin, 劳淋), the general principle is to unblock and clear heat. In the initial stage, tonifying and astringent medicines must absolutely not be used.
Take equal parts of Arctostaphylitis Fructus? No, Hanshui Shi (Cold Water Stone, 寒水石) and Fagopyri Esculenti Semen (Qiaomai mian, 荞麦面). Grind into fine powder. On the fifth day of the fifth lunar month, form pills the size of bullet shots using water. Dry them in the shade. Before taking, burn one pill until it turns to ash but retains its nature, grind it into powder, and take it mixed with yellow wine. Recovery occurs when sweating ensues. For severe cases, first apply hot salt to moxibustion or warm compress the navel, or smear white chicken blood on the navel; use female chicken for men and male chicken for women. This is extremely effective.
Treats seminal emission caused by excessive mental exertion. Take one liang each of Rehmanniae Radix Praeparata (Shudihuang, 熟地) and Ophiopogonis Radix (Maidong, 麦冬), five qian each of Dioscoreae Rhizoma (Shanyao, 山药) and Euryales Semen (Qianshi, 芡实), five fen of Coptidis Rhizoma (Chuanlian, 川连), and three fen of Cinnamomi Cortex (Rougui, 肉桂). Decoct in water and take orally; recovery follows.
Treats loss of spirit possession, where dream emission occurs immediately upon closing eyes. Take two liang each of Platycladi Semen (Baiziren, 柏子仁) [de-oiled], Polygalae Radix (Fushen, 茯神), Ziziphi Spinosae Semen (Zaoren, 枣仁) [stir-fried], Rehmanniae Radix (Shengdi, 生地) [washed with wine], and Angelicae Sinensis Radix (Danggui, 当归); five qian each of Cinnabaris (Zhusha, 朱砂) [water-triturated], Schisandrae Fructus (Wuweizi, 五味子), Rhinocerotis Cornu (Xijiao, 犀角) [coarsely powdered], and Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma (Gancao, 甘草). Grind all into fine powder, mix with honey to make pills the size of Euryales Semen, and coat with gold leaf.
Treats symptoms such as seminal emission in men, nocturnal emissions/sexual intercourse in dreams in women, and night sweats. Take three qian each of Paeoniae Radix Alba (Baishao, 白芍) [stir-fried with wine], Longgu (Dragon Bone, 龙骨), Muli (Oyster Shell, 牡蛎), and Cinnamomi Ramulus (Guizhi, 桂枝).
