He Gan (Gum Necrosis) with flowing fluid and ulceration at the corner of the mouth is treated by applying Xionghuang (Realgar), Kufan (Calcined Alum), Mingfen (Calomel), Haopiaoxiao (Cuttlefish Bone), Ruxiang (Frankincense), Hafen (Clam Shell Powder), and Qingyudan (Green Fish Gallbladder).

He Gan flows fluid and ulcerates at the corner of the mouth, with Realgar, Calcined Alum, and Cuttlefish Bone.
Frankincense, Clam Shell Powder, and Green Fish Gallbladder, tell you to be leisurely and happy at both ends.

Chiyou Feng (Red Roaming Wind / Erysipelas) presents with black spots on the hands, extremely painful and itchy. Wash with a decoction of Shengjiang (Fresh Ginger), Chen Ai (Mugwort), and Huaiye (Sophora Leaf).

Chiyou appears on hands with black spots, pain and itchiness make one cry out in difficulty.
Wash with Fresh Ginger and Sophora Leaf decoction, add Mugwort and the disease will heal.

Facial Forms Six Syndromes

Shang Gan (Upper Gum Ulcer) arises above the gum roots inside the mouth, with internal rotting and continuous flow of saliva. This is caused by accumulated heat in the Heart and Spleen.
Treatment uses Huanglian (Coptis Rhizome, sliced and ground), Baifan (Alum, refined), and Renyan (Arsenic Trioxide, wrapped in jujube and burned until smoke ceases). Grind into powder and apply; this is most excellent.

Ya Gan (Gum Gangrene) arises inside the mouth, with gum tissue rotting like maggots and dripping saliva causing unbearable suffering. This is due to Heat-Labor in the Heart and Spleen. Huanglian sliced and finely ground, Baifan refined and lightly crushed, wrapped in jujube and burned in fire, grind together into powder and apply; this is most excellent.

Chong She (Double Tongue) is an extra tongue-like growth under the tongue, caused by accumulated heat in the Heart. Treatment uses Fangfeng (Saposhnikovia Root), Jingjie (Schizonepeta Spike), Huanglian (Coptis Rhizome), Xuanshen (Scrophularia Root), Mahuang (Ephedra Herb), Shengma (Cimicifuga Rhizome, finely ground), Baizhi (Angelica Dahurica Root), Qianghuo (Notopterygium Rhizome), Jiangcan (Bombyx Batryticatus), and Yujin (Curcuma Longa Rhizome) in equal parts. Combine with water and decoct.
Swallow frequently after meals.

Chong She is caused by accumulated heat in the Heart, with an extra tongue under the tongue making speech difficult. Fangfeng, Jingjie, and Huanglian, Xuanshen and Shengma finely ground, Baizhi and Qianghuo as companions, Jiangcan and Yujin mixed in, equal parts combined and decocted in water, swallow frequently after meals.
