Blood deficiency headache is characterized by worsening pain at night. Pain in the supraorbital ridge is a sign of phlegm-fire; some attribute it to wind-heat and phlegm. Symptoms of sweating, photophobia, and orbital pain are also signs of phlagm-fire.
