Re-boil the oil, then add 12 liang of calcined Huangdan (Lead Monoxide), which has been stir-fried. Add gradually while stirring continuously with a locust or willow stick until a drop of oil forms a bead when dropped into water. Remove from fire, blow in 4 qian each of Xuxiang (Olibanum) and Moyao (Myrrha) powder, mix evenly, and store. Let it cool down to remove "fire toxicity" before use. Another formula adds 2 qian of Suhexiang (Styrax) which is especially excellent.
