治鼻 ，气息不通，不闻香臭，并有 肉。
木通 细辛 附子(炮去皮脐，各等分)
上为末，蜜和，绵裹少许纳鼻中。一法，以瓜蒂为末，绵裹纳鼻中；或吹入亦可。一法
，以枯矾研为面，脂和，绵裹少许纳入鼻中，数日 肉与药消落。
治肺热鼻发赤瘰，俗谓酒 。
硫黄（一分，为末) 萝卜(切去盖，剜作瓮子，入硫黄在内，以竹针盖定，正安糠火煨一
宿，取出研细) 轻粉 乌头尖（各少许，为末)
上研匀，以面油调。卧时敷，早晚洗去；以酥调尤佳。一法用乳香、硫黄、细辛、轻粉
等分为末，水调敷。一法，栀子为末，蜡丸小弹子大，茶、酒任下一丸。
凡鼻头微白者，亡血也；赤者，血热也，酒客多有之。若时行衄血，不宜断之。或出至二
三升不已，即以龙骨为末，吹入。凡九窍出血，皆用此法甚良。余衄方见失血门。
唇者，脾之候也，意舍之所荣，燥则干，热则裂，风则 动，寒则揭，气郁则生疮
，血枯则沉而无色。治之之法，内则随证调其脾，外当以药敷之。
治意思过度，蕴热于脾，口干唇燥，沉裂无色。
黄 香白芷 升麻 人参 甘草(炙) 半夏(汤去滑，等分）
上为锉散。每服四钱，水一盏半，姜五片，枣二个，小麦三十粒，煎七分，去滓，不以时服。
治疗鼻息肉，气息不通，闻不到香味和臭味，并伴有息肉。

以上药物研为细末，用蜂蜜调和，用棉絮包裹少许纳入鼻孔中。另一种方法，将瓜蒂研为细末，用棉絮包裹纳入鼻孔中；或者吹入也可以。还有一种方法，将枯矾研成粉末，用油脂调和，用棉絮包裹少许纳入鼻孔中，几天后息肉与药物一同消退。
治疗肺热导致鼻子发红生瘰疬，俗称酒渣鼻。

以上药物研磨均匀，用面油调和。睡前敷用，早晚洗去；用酥油调和尤其好。另一种方法使用乳香、硫黄、细辛、轻粉等分为细末，用水调匀敷用。还有一种方法，将栀子研为细末，制成蜡丸，大小如小弹丸，喝茶或喝酒时送服一丸。
凡是鼻头微微发白的，是失血所致；发红的，是血热，饮酒的人多有此症。如果是流行病引起的鼻出血，不宜强行止血。如果出血达到二三升不止，立即将龙骨研为细末，吹入鼻孔。凡是九窍出血，都用这种方法，效果很好。其他治鼻出血的方剂见失血门。
嘴唇是脾的外候，也是意舍所荣养的部位，干燥则干裂，热盛则开裂，风邪侵袭则颤动，寒邪侵袭则皲裂，气机郁结则生疮，血液枯竭则颜色暗沉无华。治疗的方法，内治则根据证候调理脾脏，外治则用药敷贴。
治疗思虑过度，蕴热于脾，口干唇燥，颜色暗沉开裂无光泽。
黄芪、白芷、升麻、人参、甘草（炙）、半夏（汤浸去滑腻，等分）
以上药物锉碎成散剂。每次服用四钱，加水一盏半，生姜五片，大枣二个，小麦三十粒，煎至七分，去渣，不拘时候服用。
Treats nasal polyps (Nasal Polyp), where breath is obstructed, unable to smell fragrant or foul odors, accompanied by polyps.
Akebiae Caulis (Mutong), Asari Radix (Xixin), Prepared Aconiti Lateralis Radix (Pao Fuzi) (prepared, peel skin and remove umbilicus, equal parts).
Grind the above into powder, mix with honey, wrap a small amount in cotton, and insert into the nostril. Another method: grind Galii Veri Fructus (Gudie) into powder, wrap in cotton, and insert into the nostril; or insufflate it. Another method: grind Alum (Kufan) into powder, mix with animal fat, wrap a small amount in cotton, and insert into the nostril; after several days, the polyps and medicine will dissolve and fall off.
Treats lung heat causing redness and nodules on the nose, commonly known as rhinophyma (Jiu Chi).
Sulfur (1 fen, ground into powder), Radish (cut off the top, hollow out like a jar, place sulfur inside, cover with bamboo needle, roast in chaff fire overnight, take out and grind finely), Calomelas (Qingfen), Aconiti Radix Lateralis Preparata (Wutou Jian) tip (small amounts of each, ground into powder).
Grind evenly, mix with flour oil. Apply before sleep, wash off morning and evening; mixing with butter is especially good. Another method: use Frankincense (Ruxiang), Sulfur, Asari Radix (Xixin), Calomelas (Qingfen) in equal parts, grind into powder, mix with water for application. Another method: grind Gardeniae Fructus (Zhizi) into powder, make wax pills the size of small beans, swallow one pill with tea or wine.
Generally, if the nose tip is slightly white, it indicates blood loss (Wang Xue); if red, it indicates blood heat, common among drinkers. If epistaxis (Nu Xue) occurs due to epidemic pathogens, do not forcibly stop it. If bleeding continues at two or three sheng, immediately insuffilate Rhizoma Longan (Longgu) powder into the nostril. For bleeding from all nine orifices, this method is very effective. Other formulas for epistaxis are found in the chapter on Blood Loss.
The lips are the external manifestation of the Spleen (Pi), nourished by Yishe (Intention Storage). Dryness causes dryness, heat causes cracking, wind causes trembling, cold causes fissuring, qi stagnation causes sores, and blood deficiency causes darkening and lack of luster. The treatment method involves internally regulating the Spleen according to the syndrome, and externally applying medication.
Treats excessive thinking leading to heat accumulation in the Spleen, resulting in dry mouth and lips, darkening, cracking, and lack of luster.
Astragali Radix (Huangqi), Angelicae Dahuricae Radix (Baizhi), Cimicifugae Rhizoma (Shengma), Ginseng Radix (Renshen), Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma (Gancao) (roasted), Pinelliae Rhizoma (Banxia) (soaked in water to remove slipperiness, equal parts).
Grind into coarse powder. Take 4 qian per dose, add 1.5 zhan of water, 5 slices of ginger, 2 jujubes, 30 wheat grains, decoct until 7/10 remains, strain, and take at any time.
