治男子妇人，中风虚极，六脉沉伏，舌强不能言语，痰涎并多，精神如痴，手
不能举动。此等症状，不可攻风，只宜扶虚。
天雄 附子 川乌（并生，去皮。各一两） 木香（不见火，半两） 沉香（浓磨水，
临热旋入）
上锉散。每服四钱，水二盏，生姜十片，煎七分，空心温服。
治一切风疾，气血俱虚，阴阳偏废，卒暴中风，僵卧昏塞，涎潮搐搦，不省人事
舌强，手足 曳，口眼 斜。或瘫痪偏枯，半身不遂，语言謇涩，举止错乱，四肢麻
治颠痫倒卧，目瞑不开，涎盛作声。或角弓反张，目睛直视，口禁闷绝，牙关紧急。
搏于阳经，目眩头晕，牙齿疼痛，耳作蝉鸣，皮肤 搐，频久喜睡，项强拘急，不能
及肾脏风虚，脚膝疼痛，步履艰难。偏风流注一边，屈伸不得。无问新久，并能治之

治疗中风猝然发作，神志昏迷不知人，口眼歪斜，半身不遂，咽喉发出痰鸣声，痰气上壅阻塞，六脉沉伏或浮盛。
治疗痰厥、饮厥以及气虚引起的眩晕。

Treats various deficiency-induced wind-phlegm surging, phlegm-jue (Phlegm Syncope) leading to divine consciousness confusion, dizziness with slurred speech, twitching and spasms of hands and feet, hemiplegia, as well as Li-jie Wind pain (pain in joints throughout the body), and tendon contraction.
Chuanxiong Rhizome (Chuanxiong), Pinelliae Tuber (Banxia), Saposhnikoviae Radix (Fangfeng) (each 1 liang), Licorice Root (Gancao) (roasted, 0.5 liang), Scorpio (Quanxie) (de-toxicated, 3), Aconiti Lateralis Radix (Fuzi) (raw, peel skin and remove umbilicus).
The above are chopped into a powder. Each dose is 4 qian, decocted with 1.5 zhan of water and 10 slices of fresh ginger root, taken warm, at any time. For Qi deficiency, add Agarwood (Chenxiang). For rebellious Qi, add Perilla Leaf (Zisu). For wind-heat syndrome.
Treats sudden stroke, unconsciousness, deviation of mouth and eyes, hemiplegia, sound from throat due to phlegm obstruction, six pulses deep and hidden or floating and excessive.
Treats phlegm-jue, fluid-jue, and dizziness caused by Qi deficiency.
Aconiti Radix (Chuanwu) (2 liang), Arisaemae Rhizoma (Tiannanxing), Aconiti Lateralis Radix (Fuzi) (each 1 liang, both processed), Costus Root (Muxiang) (0.5 liang).
The above are chopped into a powder. Each dose is 3 da qian, decocted with 1.5 zhan of water and 7 slices of fresh ginger root, taken slightly warm. If struck by wind-dampness, mix with Wuji San.
Administer medicine when not conscious. If phlegm-saliva is abundant, add 5 Scorpions per dose, and still administer Yangzheng Dan, 3-7 pills each time to suppress it, because it contains Realgar (Liuhuang) and Black Tin (Xixi),

Middle Qi
Treats men and women with extreme deficiency from wind-stroke, six pulses deep and hidden, stiff tongue unable to speak, abundant phlegm-saliva, spirit like a fool, hands
unable to move. These symptoms should not be treated by attacking wind, but only by supporting deficiency.
Aconiti Radix (Tianxiong), Aconiti Lateralis Radix (Fuzi), Aconiti Radix (Chuanwu) (all raw, peeled. Each 1 liang), Costus Root (Muxiang) (not exposed to fire, 0.5 liang), Agarwood (Chenxiang) (thickly ground with water, added just before heating).
The above are chopped into a powder. Each dose is 4 qian, decocted with 2 zhan of water and 10 slices of fresh ginger root, until reduced to 0.7 portion, taken warm on an empty stomach.
Treats all wind diseases, where Qi and Blood are both deficient, Yin and Yang are unbalanced, sudden violent wind-stroke, rigid lying and coma, phlegm-tide with convulsions, loss of consciousness,
stiff tongue, dragging of hands and feet, deviation of mouth and eyes. Or paralysis and hemiatrophy, hemiplegia, slurred speech, chaotic behavior, numbness of four limbs.
Treats epilepsy falling down, eyes closed and unable to open, abundant phlegm making sounds. Or opisthotonos, staring eyes, locked jaw and fainting, tight jaw.
Attacking Yang meridians, dizziness and vertigo, toothache, cicada-like ringing in ears, skin
twitching, frequent long sleep, stiff neck and rigidity, unable to
and kidney wind-deficiency, pain in legs and knees, difficulty walking. Wind flowing to one side, inability to flex and extend. Whether new or old, all can be treated.
