投药入中，固济瓶口，以 火烧一周时，待酒冷乃开。时时饮一盏，不令绝酒气，经三五日
后自消矣。

Take two jin of high-quality Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma (Fangcao) with large transverse rings, crush them, and soak in river water overnight. Knead to extract thick juice. Filter through fine silk cloth, pour into silver or ceramic vessels, and slowly simmer into a paste. Store in porcelain jars. Take ten dou (approx. 10 liters) of unfermented wine, submerge the herb, seal the bottle tightly, and boil over fire for one shichen (two hours). Open only after the wine cools.
