取竹筒两头保留节段,中间钻一个孔,将甘草放入其中,仍用竹木钉封闭孔洞,在大粪缸中浸泡一个月,取出晒干,可大力治疗疫毒。

(Attached: Da Tou Tian Xing Disease)
Plague (Yi Wen), referring to the condition where many people suffer from the same illness, is also known as Tian Xing Shi Yi. There are three treatment methods: suitable for tonification, suitable for dispersion, and suitable for descending. In cases of severe heat, add three cups of Tong Bian (Child's Urine).
Prescription 1
Da Huang (Rhei Radix et Rhizoma), Huang Lian (Coptidis Rhizoma), Huang Qin (Scutellariae Radix), Ren Shen (Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma), Jie Geng (Platycodonis Radix), Fang Feng (Saposhnikoviae Radix), Cang Zhu (Atractylodis Rhizoma), Hua Shi (Talcum), Xiang Fu (Cyperi Rhizoma), Ren Zhong Huang (Homo Sucus).
The above herbs are ground into fine powder and formed into pills using a paste made from Shen Qu (Massae Fermentatae Medicamentosa). Take 60-70 pills per dose. Depending on whether the pathology involves Qi, Blood, or Phlegm, administer as a decoction. For Qi deficiency, take with Si Jun Zi Tang (Four Gentlemen Decoction); for Blood deficiency, take with Si Wu Tang (Four Substance Decoction); for excessive Phlegm, take with Er Chen Tang (Two Aged Herbs Decoction); for severe heat, take with Tong Bian (Child's Urine).
Another Prescription
Wen Bing (Warm Disease) is also treated by addressing food stagnation and Phlegm-Heat, aiming to descend Yin Fire.
Ren Zhong Huang (Homo Sucus).
Formed into pills the size of mung beans using rice paste. Take 15 pills per dose.
Another Prescription
For Shi Bing (Seasonal Diseases).
Ban Xia (Pinelliae Rhizoma), Chuan Xiong (Ligustici Chuanxiong Rhizoma), Fu Ling (Poria), Chen Pi (Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium), Shan Zha (Crataegi Fructus), Bai Zhu (Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma), Cang Zhu (Atractylodis Rhizoma) [as Jun Herb], Gan Cao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma).
If there is headache, add Jiu Huang Qin (Wine-processed Scutellariae Radix); if there is thirst, add Gan Ge (Puerariae Lobatae Radix); if there is body pain, add Qiang Huo (Notopterygii Rhizoma et Radix), Bao Gui (Thin Cinnamon Twig), Fang Feng (Saposhnikoviae Radix), and Shao Yao (Paeoniae Radix).
Da Tou Tian Xing Disease (Big Head Plague) occurs because dampness is located at the high peak of the head. Do not use descending medications; Dong Yuan (Li Dongyuan) has a prescription for this.
Qiang Huo (Notopterygii Rhizoma et Radix), Jiu Huang Qin (Wine-processed Scutellariae Radix), Jiu Zheng Da Huang (Wine-steamed Rhei Radix et Rhizoma).
Attached Prescription
Song treating Big Head Disease and simultaneously treating Hou Bi (Throat Obstruction).
There is an immortal prescription in the human world for treating epidemics: one liang of Jiang Can (Bombyx Batryticatus) and two liang of Da Huang (Rhei Radix et Rhizoma); form pills the size of bullet seeds with ginger juice; mix with well water, honey, and Tong Bian (Child's Urine) for cooling effect.
Dong Wen (Winter Warmth) is a disease where warm qi appears when it should not. During the cold winter, Yang Qi should be stored and concealed, but instead, it leaks outward. Therefore, specifically use tonifying medicines combined with exterior-releasing medicines, such as Bu Zhong Yi Qi Tang (Tonify the Middle and Augment the Qi Decoction).
Method for Making Ren Zhong Huang (Homo Sucus)
Take a bamboo tube, leaving nodes at both ends, and drill a hole in the middle. Place Gan Cao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma) inside, seal the hole with a bamboo/wood nail, and soak it in a feces pit for one month. Take it out and dry it in the sun. It greatly treats epidemic toxins.
The pulse on the left hand is larger than that on the right hand, floating, slow, and vigorous, but weak upon pressure.
In severe illness with collapse due to deficiency, the root cause is Yin deficiency. Using Ai Jiu (Moxibustion) on Dan Tian (Sea of Qi acupoint) is to tonify Yang, because when Yang grows, Yin grows. Do not use Fu Zi (Aconiti Lateralis Radix Praeparata); only use large doses of Ren Shen (Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma).
Attached Prescription
Lou Lu Tang (Leopard Root Decoction) treats accumulated heat in the Zang-Fu organs, leading to swelling and toxicity, epidemic nodules, massive swelling of the head and face, throat obstruction preventing intake of water and medicine, and all critical and malignant epidemic plagues.
Lou Lu (Euphorbiae Humifusae Herba), Sheng Ma (Cimicifugae Rhizoma), Da Huang (Rhei Radix et Rhizoma), Huang Qin (Scutellariae Radix), Lan Ye (Isatidis Folium), Yuan Shen (Scrophulariae Radix) [equal parts].
Chop the above herbs. Take two qian per dose, decoct in water and drink. If swelling and heat are severe, add Mang Xiao (Natrii Sulfas) two qian.
Xiao Du Wan (Detoxifying Pill) treats malignant syndromes of epidemic nodules.
Da Huang (Rhei Radix et Rhizoma), Mu Li (Ostreae Concha), Jiang Can (Bombyx Batryticatus) [stir-fried, equal parts].
Grind into fine powder, make pills the size of bullet seeds with refined honey. Dissolve one pill in fresh water. Adding Jie Geng (Platocodonis Radix) and Niu Bang Zi (Arctii Fructus) is especially excellent.
Jie Gu Xiong Huang Wan (Jiegu's Realgar Pill) wards off seasonal pestilence. One can sleep in the same bed as patients, wear their contaminated clothes, and still not get infected.
Xiong Huang (Realgar) [one liang, ground], Chi Xiao Dou (Vigna Semen Rubrum) [stir-fried], Dan Shen (Salviae Miltiorrhizae Radix et Rhizoma), Gui Jian Yu (Eucommiae Ramulus) [each two liang].
Grind into fine powder, make pills with honey. Take five pills per dose, swallow with warm water on an empty stomach.
