Fontanelle (Xinmen): Also known as the top of the head, if the bone is broken and marrow leaks out, it is incurable.
Nasal Bridge (Jieliang): Refers to the nasal bridge; if broken, it is incurable.

Thyroid Cartilage (Tugu): Refers to the Adam's apple; if broken, it is incurable.
Sai Bone: Refers to the depression below the thyroid cartilage and above the transverse bone; if fractured, it is incurable. Below the transverse bone lies the xiphoid process (Renzi Gu), located 1.3 cun away, forming a segment. Injuries to the lower segments are more severe than those to the upper segments.
Heart Pit (Xinwo): Refers to the area of the xiphoid process, also known as the Longtan Acupoint. If beaten such that the patient falls into a coma or faints, they will inevitably die after prolonged observation.
Dantian: Located within 1.3 cun below the umbilicus, corresponding to the Bladder. Injuries involving impalement or downward thrusts here are incurable, with death expected within one month.
Testicles: If crushed or ruptured, it is incurable.
Occipital Bone (Naohou Gu): If fractured or damaged, it is incurable.
Bailao Acupoint: Opposite to the Sai Bone; if tendons and bones are severed here, it is incurable.
Heavenly Pillar Bone (Tianzhu Gu): Opposite to the thyroid cartilage; if severed here, it is incurable.
Kidney Acupoints (Liang Shen Xue): Located on the back, level with the umbilicus, 1.3 cun to the left and right. If broken by impact, resulting in symptoms such as laughing or crying uncontrollably, it is incurable.
Coccyx (Weiba Gu): If shattered, it is incurable.
Haidi Acupoint: Located between the urethral and anal openings (perineum); severe injuries here are incurable.
Cartilage (Ruan Gu): Located below both breasts, corresponding to the esophagus/stomach region; injuries from impalement or downward thrusts here are incurable.
Qi Gate (Qimen): Located above the left breast at the arterial pulse point. Injury here causes Qi obstruction. If treatment is delayed, death occurs within three shichen (six hours).
Blood Sea (Xuehai): Located below the right breast in the soft rib area; injuries here are incurable.
Both Breasts: Injury to the left breast causes coughing; injury to the right breast causes hiccups. Both conditions are considered incurable.
First, observe the eyes: If there is blood stasis in the eyes, visible blood-stained vessels will appear on the sclera. Numerous blood vessels indicate extensive blood stasis; few vessels indicate mild stasis. Eyes that move freely are easier to treat; immobile eyes are difficult to treat.
Second, observe the fingernails: Press the patient's fingernail with your own nail. Immediate return to normal color indicates an easy case; delayed return indicates severe injury; purple-black discoloration indicates an incurable case.
Third, observe the genitalia: Non-retraction of the penis is treatable; retraction is difficult to treat. Retraction of the testicles is also incurable. Retraction of the female breasts is incurable.
Fourth, observe the toenails: The method is the same as for fingernails.
Fifth, observe the soles of the feet: A ruddy, vibrant color indicates an easy case; yellowish color indicates a difficult case. The same applies to the palms of the hands.
Injury presenting five ominous signs is incurable; presenting one or two may still be treatable.
Generally, injuries from downward blows are termed "Smooth Qi"; horizontal punches cause "Blocked Qi"; upward or reverse thrusts cause "Reverse Qi," which is the most lethal. The human body moves with Qi. When Qi is smooth, Blood flows smoothly; when Qi is reversed, Blood stagnates. Stagnant Blood leads to disease. How can the body withstand shattered bones and severed tendons? Survival without death or disability is a great fortune, relying entirely on the physician's ability to reverse critical conditions. Roughly speaking, injuries to the anterior and posterior chest regions, if chronic, develop into Consumption (Lao Bing). Injuries to the lower abdomen connected to the Bladder, if chronic, develop into Jaundice (Huang Bing).
