王亭村一童子，入门，状如鞠恭而行。戴人曰∶ 气也。令解衣揣之，二道如臂
。其家求疗于戴人。先刺其左，如刺重纸，剥然有声而断。令按摩之，立软。其右亦然。观
者感嗟异之。或问，曰∶石关穴也。
沈丘王宰妻，病胸膈不利，口流涎沫，自言咽下胃中常雷声，心间作微痛，又复
发昏，胸乳之间灸瘢如棋。化痰利膈等药，服之三载，病亦依然。其家知戴人痰药不损，来
求之。一涌而出雪白虫一条，长五、六寸，有口鼻牙齿，走于涎中，病者忿而断之，中有白
发一茎。此正与徐文伯所吐宫人发瘕一同，虫出立安。
戴人过醮都营中饮会，邻席有一卒，说出妻事。戴人问其故。答曰∶吾妇为室女
，心下有冷积如覆杯，按之如水声，以热手熨之如火聚，来已十五年矣。恐断我嗣，是故
弃之。戴人曰∶公勿黜也。如用吾药，病可除，孕可得。卒从之。戴人诊其脉沉而迟
，尺脉洪大而有力，非无子之候也，可不逾年而孕。其良人笑曰∶试之。先以三圣散吐
涎一斗，心下平软；次服白术调中汤、五苓散；后以四物汤和之。不再月，气血合度，数月
而娠二子。戴人常曰∶用吾此法，无不子之妇，此言不诬矣。
果菌刘子平妻，腹中有块如瓢，十八年矣。经水断绝，诸法无措。戴人令一月之
内，涌四次，下六次，所去痰约一、二桶。其中不化之物，有如葵菜者，烂鱼肠之状，涌时
木如意 之，觉病积如刮，渐渐而平。及积之既尽，块
痕反洼如臼，略无少损，至是而面有童色，经水既行。若当年少，可以有子。
王亭村的一个童子，走进门时，身体弯曲像作揖行礼一样行走。张从正（字戴人）说：“这是气滞导致的。”让他脱下衣服检查，发现两侧胁肋部位肿胀得像手臂一样粗。这家人向张从正求治。张从正先针刺他的左侧，感觉像刺穿厚纸一样，发出剥裂的声音后肿块断开。接着让他进行按摩，肿块立刻变软。右侧的情况也是如此。旁观的人感到惊叹和奇异。有人询问原因，张从正说：“这是因为石关穴处的病结。”
沈丘县县令王宰的妻子，患病胸膈部不适，口中流出涎沫，自己说咽下食物到胃中时常有雷声，心间有轻微疼痛，并且反复出现昏厥，胸部和乳房的皮肤上灸过的瘢痕像棋盘格子一样密集。服用化痰、利膈等药物，吃了三年，病情依然如故。这家人知道张从正不用痰药治疗有效，便来求诊。张从正通过涌吐法，吐出一条雪白的虫子，长五、六寸，有口鼻牙齿，在涎液中爬行，病人愤怒地将其折断，里面有一根白发。这正好与徐文伯所吐出的宫女发瘕（由头发形成的积块）相同，虫子吐出后病人立即安宁。
张从正路过醮都军营参加宴会，邻座有一名士兵，说起休妻的事。张从正询问原因。士兵回答说：“我的妻子在未出嫁时，心下有冷积，形状像倒扣的杯子，按压时有水声，用热手熨烫它感觉像火堆聚集，这种情况已经持续十五年了。担心断绝我的后代，所以休弃了她。”张从正说：“您不要休妻。如果采用我的药方，病可以去除，也可以怀孕。”士兵听从了他的建议。张从正诊察她的脉象沉而迟，但尺脉洪大有力，这不是不能生育的征候，不必超过一年就能怀孕。她的丈夫笑着说：“试试看。”先用三圣散催吐，吐出一斗涎液，心下变得平坦柔软；接着服用白术调中汤、五苓散；最后用四物汤调和气血。不到一个月，气血调和，几个月后怀上了双胞胎。张从正常说：“使用我的这种方法，没有不能生育的妇女，这话是不虚假的。”
果菌村的刘子平之妻，腹中有肿块像瓢一样大，已经十八年了。月经停止，各种治疗方法都无济于事。张从正让她在一个月内，涌吐四次，泻下六次，排出的痰浊约有一两桶。其中未消化的物质，有的像葵菜，有的像腐烂的鱼肠，涌吐时用木如意（一种按摩工具）推按腹部，感觉病积像被刮除一样，逐渐平复。等到积块完全消除，腹部的痕迹反而凹陷像臼一样，身体没有任何损伤，至此面色恢复了孩童般的红润，月经也来了潮。如果当时年纪轻些，是可以有孩子的。
A boy from Wangting Village entered the door, walking with his body bent as if bowing. Zhang Congzheng (courtesy name Dairen) said: "This is Qi stagnation." He ordered him to take off his clothes and palpate the area; both sides of the hypochondrium were swollen like arms. The family sought treatment from Dairen. Dairen first needled the left side; it felt like piercing thick paper, accompanied by a peeling sound, after which the swelling broke. He then instructed massage, and the swelling softened immediately. The right side was treated similarly. Observers marveled at this. When asked for the reason, Dairen said: "It is a pathological knot at Shiguan (ST21)."
The wife of Magistrate Wang Shenqiu suffered from chest and diaphragm discomfort, salivation, and reported hearing thunderous sounds in her stomach after swallowing. She experienced slight pain in the heart region and recurrent fainting. Her chest and breasts were covered with moxibustion scars resembling a chessboard. After taking phlegm-resolving and diaphragm-clearing medicines for three years, her condition remained unchanged. Knowing that Dairen did not rely on phlegm-resolving drugs, her family sought his help. Through emesis (Yong), a snow-white worm five or six inches long, with mouth, nose, teeth, crawling in the saliva, was expelled. The patient angrily broke it, revealing a single white hair inside. This was identical to the hair mass (Fa Jia) vomited out by Xu Wenbo from a palace maid. Upon expulsion of the worm, the patient was instantly relieved.
While attending a banquet at the Jiadu Camp, Dairen heard a soldier nearby discuss his divorce. Dairen asked why. The soldier replied: "My wife, since she was an unmarried girl, had a cold accumulation under her heart, shaped like an inverted cup. Palpation produced a water-like sound, and warming it with hot hands felt like a fire cluster. This has persisted for fifteen years. Fearing it would cut off my lineage, I divorced her." Dairen said: "Do not dismiss her. If you use my medicine, the disease can be cured, and pregnancy achieved." The soldier agreed. Dairen diagnosed her pulse as deep and slow, but the chi position was full, large, and forceful, indicating this was not a sign of infertility; she could conceive within a year. Her husband laughed and said: "Let's try." First, San Sheng San (Three Holy Powders) was used to induce vomiting, expelling one dou of saliva, making the epigastrium flat and soft. Then, Baizhu Tiaozhong Tang (Atractylodes Decoction for Regulating the Middle) and Wuling San (Five-Ingredient Powder with Poria) were administered. Finally, Siwu Tang (Four Substances Decoction) was used to harmonize. Within less than a month, Qi and Blood were balanced, and within several months, she conceived twins. Dairen often said: "Using my method, there are no women who cannot bear children; these words are not false."
The wife of Liu Ziping from Guojun Village had an abdominal mass the size of a ladle for eighteen years. Her menstruation had ceased, and all other treatments failed. Dairen instructed her to undergo emesis four times and purgation six times within one month. The expelled phlegm amounted to one or two buckets. Undigested matter resembled okra or rotting fish intestines. During emesis, a wooden如意 (Ruyi, a massage tool) was used to press the abdomen, feeling as if the accumulation was being scraped away, gradually flattening. Once the accumulation was completely cleared, the abdominal depression became concave like a mortar, with no damage to the body. At this point, her face regained a youthful complexion, and menstruation resumed. Had she been younger, she could have borne children.
