Method 1: Lie on one side with the costal region down, extend the arms and legs straight. Inhale through the nose and exhale through the mouth. This eliminates pain in the hypochondrium (costal region) and skin. Stop after seven breaths.
Method 2: Sit upright to straighten the waist. Turn the head to look backward to the right, inhale through the mouth, and swallow the qi. Repeat thirty times. This eliminates left-sided hypochondriac pain and opens the eyes.
Method 3: Cross hands above the neck and grasp them tightly, stretching to the limit. This treats pain below the hypochondrium. Sit on the ground, cross both hands. If the sensation of qi is not pervasive, grasp the key points and pull forcefully. Practice for a long time; the body becomes solid like Vajra (Diamond), and the breath becomes regulated and long, resembling the movement of wind and clouds or the sound of thunder.
Method 4: One hand extends upward to the extreme, palm rotating back towards four directions; the other hand pushes downward with force. Palms join, fingers strain. Lean sideways, turn the body as if looking back, palm facing up. Let heart qi sink and scatter comfortably, perceiving qi rising from the lower origin to the upper. Reach the extreme posture. Perform this four times on each side (eight times total). This removes pain and stuffiness in the shoulders, ribs, and spine.
Method 5: Kneel flatly, extend both hands long, palms pressing forward on the mat. Wait until the waist and spine need to turn; then the whole body’s bones relax and qi scatters. Long-draw the waist to its extreme posture, then return to kneeling. Move swiftly as if cold qi is exiting the spinal muscles, causing arm soreness, a stifling pain sensation. When pain subsides, sit up. Go back and forth twice (four times total). This removes disharmony of the five zang organs and back pain/stuffiness.
Method 6: Sit with both feet stretched out long. Relax the body, guide qi downward, making the interior of the heart soft, comfortable, and scattered. Then bend one foot, place the knee underneath, strain/forcefully exert, stretch the other leg long, lean back to reach the toes upward, then quickly lie supine without letting the head touch the mat. Strain both hands forward urgently, push the head upward vigorously. At once, each part takes its posture. Go back and forth twice (four times total), alternating similarly. This eliminates lumbar pain, coldness of the waist and arms, cold blood, wind-bi syndrome, gradually diminishing these conditions day by day.
Method 7: Prone position, look sideways at the inner heel. Straighten the waist. Inhale through the nose. Stretch to the limit for seven breaths. This eliminates string-like pain in the foot, muscle twitching/cramp, foot soreness, and foot bi-weakness.
Method 8: Sit with both feet extended. Scatter qi towards Yongquan (KI-1, Sole of the Foot). Repeat three times. Only collect when the qi penetrates thoroughly in an inverted state. Bend and curl the right foot. Grasp the Yongquan point on the sole of the foot urgently with both hands. Pull the foot to tread on the hands. Take the posture simultaneously. Exert force in hands and feet. Guide rebellious qi downward for three cycles (nine times), ensuring the count of qi is not lost. This removes cold qi inside the Kidney, cold knees, and foot pain.
Method 9: Bend one foot, soles of the toes facing up. Quickly grasp that foot and place it on the knee. Scatter mind/qi between the two heels. Exhale downward. One hand pushes against the knee, pressing down urgently. The other hand pushes against the floor backwards. Reach the extreme posture simultaneously. Do the same on the other side. Perform twice (four times total). This removes knee bi-pain and urgency/spasm.
Method 10: Place one foot on the ground, the other foot backward. Position the Jiexi (ST41, Anterior Ankle Crease) area securely. Urgently strain both hands. Lean sideways backward as if turning. Reach the extreme posture for two cycles (four times total). Do the same on the other side. This removes foot pain, bi-urgency/spasm, and lumbar pain.
