To treat pain in the lower back, knees, and feet caused by Kidney deficiency (Kidney Deficiency), nourishing Kidney Yin (Nourishing Kidney Yin) and strengthening Yang (Strengthening Yang). Long-term use yields extraordinary effects.
Pozhuzi (Fructus Psoraleae, Sichuan origin preferred): 4 liang, washed, soaked in wine briefly, stir-fried over paper until fragrant. Chuanbixie (Rhizoma Dioscoreae Hypoglaucae, authentic): 4 liang total, soaked overnight separately in 1 liang salt water, 1 liang rice wash water, 1 liang children's urine, and 1 liang unadulterated wine, then dried. Headache (Headache) is often due to phlegm (Phlegm), but can also be caused by heat (Heat), wind (Wind), or blood deficiency (Blood Deficiency). This formula serves as the main prescription; add symptom-specific herbs for immediate effect. Pian Huangqin (Radix Scutellariae, wine-soaked and fried, 1.5 qian); Cangzhu (Rhizoma Atractylodis Lanceae); Fangfeng (Radix Saposhnikoviae); Baizhi (Radix Angelicae Dahuricae); Qianghuo (Radix Notopterygii, each 1 qian); Xixin (Herba Asari, 6 fen).

For headache due to phlegm-jue (Phlegm-Jue), only Banxia can resolve dizziness and blurred vision; for internal wind-deficiency, only Tianma (Rhizoma Gastrodiae) can cure it. Both should be used in doubled doses.

Grind each ingredient separately into powder, mix evenly. Take 1 liang per dose, mixed with good wine. Induce drunken sweating until sweat reaches the feet. Cover up and wait for sweat to dry; the illness will be cured. Afterwards, wash feet with Wuzhi Tang (Five Branches Decoction). Decoct tender branches of peach, willow, plum, locust, and mulberry trees. Drink three cups of good wine first, then wash feet for optimal pain relief.
