中毒
凡中蛊毒，则尝白矾不涩，食黑豆不腥，可浓煎石榴皮汁，饮之。或热茶化胆矾
五分，探吐出毒，或米饮调服郁金末三钱中砒霜毒，急饮人溺及人粪汁，或刺羊血热
服，或取蓝汁冷服，或取冷水研生螺服。中盐卤毒，纵饮生豆腐浆解之。中诸菌蕈毒及
虫蜞入腹，搅地浆水饮之。解砒毒鼠莽毒，用旋刺羊血，或鸡鸭热血服。解鼠莽草毒，
用大黑豆煮汁服之。食河豚鱼中毒，急以清油多灌之，使毒物尽吐而愈。中巴豆毒，以
黄连、大豆、菖蒲汁解之。中诸药毒，生甘草、黑豆、淡竹叶，水煎连服，绿豆汤、甘
草汤（黄连甘草节同煎汤），并解百毒。解服铅粉法，以麻油调蜂蜜加饴糖服。
暴死
凡涎潮于心，卒然倒仆，宜徐扶靠坐，火炭沃醋，熏鼻中，勿呼唤摇动，以乱其
心，或捣韭汁灌鼻，或皂角末吹鼻，于人中穴，及两足大拇指（离甲一韭叶许），各灸
三五壮即活。若身温有痰涎，为中风，身凉无痰涎为中气，当从二门调治。冬月中寒卒
倒，浓煎姜汤灌之。冻死有气者，以灰炒热，盛囊熨心头，冷即易之，用姜汁、热酒
各半温服。若以火烘，浴热汤，冷与火争必死。暑月途中中热卒死，以路上热土围脐，
令人尿其中，或热土大蒜等分，捣水，或姜汤热童便，皆可灌之，须置日中，或令近火
即活。若饮冷水卧冷地则死。
缢死
裹衣紧塞谷道，抱起解绳，不可割断，安放正平，脚 两肩，揪发向上揉其项痕，
捻圆竹管，以两管吹气入耳，皂角末搐鼻，刺鸡冠血（男者用雌，女者用雄），滴口中，
屈伸其手足自苏。
溺死
急倒提出水，令腹合牛背横卧，牵牛徐行。口噤者，横筋牙间，令吐出水。无牛以
锅覆地，将溺人脐对锅脐，俯伏，手扶其头，老姜擦牙，水出即活。或俯卧橙上，脚
后稍高，以皂角末绵裹纳下部，蘸盐擦脐中，出水即活。切忌火烘，逼寒入内不救。
魇死
如原有灯不妨，无灯切忌再火照，但痛咬脚跟，或咬大拇指，而唾其面，以皂角末
吹鼻中，得嚏即醒。
冻死
微有气者，速灸丹田，灌姜汤即活。若用火烘，逼寒入心，则大笑而死，与热死人
不可与凉水义同也。
锦囊秘授神效观音救苦丹
神治一切风寒湿气，流注作痛，手足蜷挛，小儿偏搐，口眼 斜，妇人心腹痞块攻
疼。不问年深月久，将药置患处，以灯火点着，候至火灭，连灰罨于肉上，立见痊愈。
重者用药米粒大，轻者用药粞粒大，只须一壮，不必复灸。若患处阔大，连排数壮，一
气灸之，且灸时不甚热痛，灸后并不溃脓，一茶之顷，痼疾如失。张秘授屡试屡验，真
神方也。因思济之一方，不若利之天下，惠之一时，不若泽之后世，爰附于后，以广厥
传，愿后贤以为半积半养之珍，幸勿专为嗜奇嗜利之具。
麝香（一钱） 朱砂（二钱） 硫黄（三钱） 各研细末，先将硫磺化开，次入朱、麝同化，
倾入瓷器内候干，再研末，隔火化开，候干，切作如粞如米大，贮瓷瓶内，慎勿出
气，珍藏听用。
中毒
凡是中了蛊毒，尝白矾（一种矿物药）不觉得涩口，吃黑豆不觉得腥味，可以浓煎石榴皮汁饮用。或者用热茶化开胆矾五分，探喉催吐以排出毒素；或者用米汤调服郁金末三钱来解砒霜毒；急饮人尿及人粪汁；或者刺取羊血趁热服用；或者取蓝靛汁冷服；或者取冷水研磨生螺肉服用。中盐卤毒，即使大量饮用生豆腐浆也能解毒。中各种菌蕈毒以及虫蜞进入腹中，搅动地浆水饮用。解砒霜毒和鼠莽草毒，用旋刺法取羊血，或者服用鸡鸭热血。解鼠莽草毒，用大黑豆煮汁服用。食用河豚鱼中毒，急忙大量灌服清油，使毒物全部吐出即可痊愈。中巴豆毒，用黄连、大豆、菖蒲汁解毒。中各种药物毒，用生甘草、黑豆、淡竹叶水煎连服，绿豆汤、甘草汤（黄连与甘草节同煎成汤），都能解百毒。解服用铅粉的方法，用麻油调和蜂蜜加饴糖服用。
暴死
凡是痰涎上涌于心，突然跌倒仆倒，应当慢慢扶起靠坐，将烧红的火炭浇醋，熏蒸鼻孔，不要呼唤摇动病人，以免扰乱其心神；或者捣取韭汁灌入鼻孔，或者将皂角末吹入鼻孔，在人中穴以及两足大拇指（距离指甲约一片韭菜叶宽处），各灸三五壮即可苏醒。如果身体温暖且有痰涎，属于中风；身体发凉且无痰涎，属于中气（气机逆乱），应当从这两类门径调理治疗。冬季因中寒突然跌倒，浓煎姜汤灌服。冻死但还有气息者，用灰炒热装入袋子熨烫心窝，冷了即更换，用姜汁、热酒各半温服。如果用火烘烤，或用热汤洗澡，冷热相争必死。暑天途中因中暑突然死亡，用路上热土围绕肚脐，让人尿在其中，或者热土与大蒜等分，捣碎加水，或者姜汤混合热童便，都可以灌服，必须放在太阳下晒，或者让病人靠近火源即可苏醒。如果饮用冷水卧在冷地上则会导致死亡。
缢死
用衣物紧紧堵塞肛门，抱起解开绳索，不可割断绳子，安放端正平躺，脚抵住肩膀，揪住头发向上揉搓颈部勒痕，捻制圆竹管，通过两个管子向耳朵里吹气，将皂角末搐入鼻腔，刺取鸡冠血（男性用母鸡血，女性用公鸡血），滴入口中，屈伸其手足，病人自然苏醒。
溺死
急忙倒提提出水面，令腹部贴合牛背横卧，牵着牛慢慢行走。牙关紧闭者，将筋条横插牙间，令其吐出积水。没有牛就用锅扣在地上，将溺水者的肚脐对准锅底中心，俯伏趴下，手扶着病人的头，用老姜擦牙，水流出即活。或者俯卧在橙子上，脚后跟稍高，用绵裹皂角末纳入下部（肛门），蘸盐擦拭肚脐中，水流出即活。切忌用火烘烤，逼迫寒气入内无法救治。
魇死
如果原本有灯不妨事，没有灯切忌再用火照，只要用力咬脚跟，或者咬大拇指，并向其面部唾沫，将皂角末吹入鼻中，打喷嚏即可醒来。
冻死
微有气息者，迅速灸丹田穴，灌服姜汤即可苏醒。如果用火烘烤，逼迫寒气入心，则会大笑而死，这与热死人不能喝凉水道理相同。

麝香（一钱） 朱砂（二钱） 硫黄（三钱） 分别研成细末，先将硫磺熔化，其次加入朱砂、麝香一同熔化，倒入瓷器内等待干燥，再研成末，隔火熔化，等待干燥，切制成如碎米如米粒大小，贮存在瓷瓶内，务必防止漏气，珍藏听候使用。
Poisoning
Whenever one is poisoned by Gu poison (a mythical venom), tasting white alum (Alumen, a mineral drug) will not feel astringent, and eating black soybeans will not smell fishy. One can drink concentrated pomegranate peel juice. Alternatively, dissolve five fen of胆矾 (Chalcanthite) in hot tea to induce vomiting and expel the toxin; or take three qian of Turmeric Rhizome powder (Curcumae Radix) mixed with rice water to counteract Arsenic trioxide poisoning; urgently drink human urine and fecal juice; or prick a sheep for fresh blood and drink it while hot; or take Indigofera tinctoria juice cold; or grind fresh snail meat in cold water and ingest it. For salt brine poisoning, drinking raw tofu slurry even in large quantities can detoxify. For various mushroom poisons or insects entering the abdomen, stir up earth浆 water (Di Jiang, soil mixed with water) and drink it. To counteract Arsenic trioxide and Rat Grass (Aconitum ferox) poison, use the "spinning" method to obtain sheep blood, or consume hot blood from chickens or ducks. To counteract Rat Grass poison, boil large black soybeans and drink the decoction. For Pufferfish poisoning, urgently pour copious amounts of clear oil to induce complete vomiting of the toxin, leading to recovery. For Croton seed poisoning, use Coptis Rhizome, Soybean, and Acorus Tatarinowii juice to detoxify. For various drug poisonings, decoct Raw Licorice Root, Black Soybean, and Lophatherum Herb together and take continuously; Mung Bean Soup and Licorice Decoction (Coptis Rhizome and Glycyrrhiza joint decocted together) can also counteract hundred toxins. To counteract Lead White poisoning, mix Sesame Oil with Honey and add Malt Sugar for ingestion.
Sudden Death
Whenever phlegm turbidity surges to the Heart, causing sudden collapse, slowly help the patient into a sitting position leaning against something. Pour vinegar onto burning charcoal to fumigate the nostrils. Do not call out or shake the patient to avoid disturbing their Heart spirit. Alternatively, crush Chinese Chive juice and instill into the nostrils, or blow Powder of Sichuan Pepper Fruit into the nostrils. Moxibustion should be applied to Renzhong (GV26) and both big toes (approximately one leek-leaf width from the nail bed), three to five moxa cones each, which will revive them. If the body is warm with phlegm turbidity, it is Wind Stroke; if the body is cool without phlegm turbidity, it is Qi Blockage (Qi Ni). Treatment should follow these two categories. In winter, for sudden collapse due to Cold invasion, administer concentrated Ginger Decoction. For frostbite death where breath remains, heat ashes in a bag and apply as a compress to the heart region, replacing when cool. Take half Ginger Juice and half hot wine warmed. If using fire to dry or bathing in hot water, the conflict between cold and heat will cause death. In summer, for sudden death due to Heat stroke on the road, surround the navel with hot earth from the road, have someone urinate into it, or mix equal parts hot earth and Garlic, crush with water, or mix Ginger Decoction with hot child's urine, all can be administered. Place in sunlight or near fire to revive. Drinking cold water or lying on cold ground will cause death.
Strangulation
Tightly stuff clothing into the anus, lift the body and untie the rope, do not cut it. Place the body flat and upright. Press feet against shoulders, pull hair upwards and rub the neck mark. Roll a bamboo tube, blow air into the ears through two tubes, insufflate Powder of Sichuan Pepper Fruit into the nose, prick Chicken Comb blood (use hen blood for males, rooster blood for females), drip into the mouth, flex and extend limbs, and the patient will naturally recover.
Drowning
Urgently lift the person out of water upside down. Lay them prone across a cow's back, walking the cow slowly. If teeth are clenched, insert a tendon strip between teeth to allow water to spit out. If no cow is available, place a pot upside down on the ground, align the victim's navel with the pot's center, have them lie prone, support the head with hands, rub teeth with old Ginger, and they will revive once water flows out. Alternatively, lie prone on an orange tree trunk with heels slightly elevated, insert cotton-wrapped Powder of Sichuan Pepper Fruit into the lower orifice, rub salt on the navel, and they will revive once water flows out. Fire drying is strictly forbidden, as forcing cold inward leads to incurable conditions.
Nightmare Death (Sleep Paralysis)
If there is already a lamp, it is fine; if not, absolutely avoid fire light. Bite the heel hard, or bite the big toe, and spit on the face. Insufflate Powder of Sichuan Pepper Fruit into the nose; sneezing will wake them.
Frostbite Death
For those with faint breath, quickly moxibustion Dantian (CV4) and administer Ginger Decoction to revive. If using fire to dry, forcing cold into the Heart causes laughter followed by death, similar to the principle that Heatstroke victims cannot drink cold water.

Musk (one qian) Cinnabar (two qian) Sulfur (three qian) Each ground into fine powder. First melt the Sulfur, then add Cinnabar and Musk to melt together. Pour into a porcelain vessel and wait for it to dry. Grind into powder again, melt over indirect fire, wait for it to dry, cut into pieces the size of broken rice grains or mung beans. Store in a porcelain bottle, strictly preventing gas leakage, keep carefully for use.
