海松子，气味香美甘温。气温能助阳而通经，味甘能补血而润泽。经通血润，五脏
自和，所以主骨节中风及因风头眩，去死肌，散水气，润五脏，变发白，仙方服食，
多用此物，亦以能延年轻身不老也。
按∶松子甘美大温。中和之品也。善理肺燥咳嗽，故凰髓汤中用；松子仁一两，胡
桃仁二两，研膏和熟蜜半两，匀后沸汤点服。又大便虚秘者，用松子仁、柏子仁、麻
子仁等分研泥，溶白腊和丸，黄 汤下。
象牙，味甘，寒，无毒。象性勇猛，而牙善蜕，故能出一切皮肉间有形滞物，又能
治邪魁惊悸风痫，又恶疮拔毒长肉生肌，去漏管之用。象胆，极苦极寒，入肝、脾二
经。肝热则目不明，脾家郁热则成疳积或口臭。脾主肌肉，肝主血分二经，蕴热多主疮
肿，苦寒能除二经之热，故并主之。又治疳症痨瘵传尸者，总取其苦寒能杀疳虫，痨虫
除脏腑一切热结也。
象牙，治杂物铁刺如神，刺人喉中调饮，刺入肉中调敷，生煎服之，可通小便闭
涩，烧灰饮下，又止小便过多。象胆主明目，治疮痈以水化涂之，治口臭以棉裹少许
贴牙根，平旦漱去，数度即瘥。象皮其性最宜收敛，入以钩插皮中，拔出半日即合，故
入膏散为长肉合金疮之要药。
主治（痘疹合参） 象牙极利小便，故痘不收靥用之者亦以其善利水也。一云又能
起痘，凡眼中有痘，磨水上最妙。

按语：松子甘美且大温，属于中和之品。善于调理肺燥引起的咳嗽，因此在凰髓汤中使用；配方为松子仁一两，胡桃仁二两，研磨成膏后加入半两熟蜂蜜，均匀后用沸水冲服。另外，对于大便虚秘者，使用松子仁、柏子仁、火麻仁等量研成泥状，溶化白蜡制成丸剂，用黄耆汤送服。
象牙，味道甘甜，性寒，无毒。大象性情勇猛，而象牙善于脱落更新，因此能排出皮肉间一切有形的阻滞之物，又能治疗邪气盛导致的惊悸、风痫，以及恶疮拔毒、促进肌肉生长和生肌，具有去除瘘管的作用。象胆，极苦极寒，入肝经、脾经。肝热则视力不明，脾家郁热则形成疳积或口臭。脾主肌肉，肝主血分，这两经蕴藏热邪多导致疮肿，苦寒之性能清除这两经的热邪，所以象胆同时主治这些病症。此外，治疗疳症、痨瘵、传尸等病，主要是取其苦寒之性能杀灭疳虫、痨虫，清除脏腑的一切热结。

主治（痘疹合参）：象牙极利于通利小便，所以痘疹不收靥（指痘疮溃烂后不结痂愈合）时使用它，也是因为其善于利水。另一种说法认为它能促使痘疹发出，凡是眼中有痘的，磨水外洗最为妙用。
Haisongzi (Pine Nut), with a fragrant and sweet flavor, is warm in nature. Its warmth can assist Yang and unblock meridians, while its sweetness can nourish blood and moisten tissues. When meridians are unblocked and blood is moistened, the five zang organs naturally harmonize. Therefore, it primarily treats wind-stroke affecting bone joints and dizziness caused by wind, removes necrotic tissue, dissipates dampness, moistens the five zang organs, turns white hair black, and is widely used in immortal recipes for consumption to prolong life, rejuvenate the body, and prevent aging.
Note: Pine nuts are sweet, delicious, and greatly warm, belonging to a balanced category. They are effective in managing dry cough due to Lung dryness, hence used in Huangsui Tang (Phoenix Marrow Decoction); the formula consists of 1 liang of Haisongzi Ren (Pine Seed Kernel) and 2 liang of Hetaoren (Walnut Kernel), ground into paste and mixed with 0.5 liang of cooked honey, taken uniformly after being dissolved in boiling water. For those with deficiency-type constipation, equal parts of Haisongzi Ren (Pine Seed Kernel), Baiziren (Biota Seed), and Maziren (Hemp Seed) are ground into mud, melted with white beeswax to form pills, and taken down with Huangqi Tang (Astragalus Decoction).
Elephant Ivory, with a sweet taste and cold nature, is non-toxic. Elephants are courageous by nature, and their ivory sheds and regenerates; thus, it can expel all有形 (tangible) obstructions between skin and flesh, treat fright palpitations and wind-epilepsy caused by pathogenic factors, draw out toxins from malignant sores, promote muscle growth and tissue regeneration, and eliminate fistulas. Elephant Gallbladder is extremely bitter and cold, entering the Liver and Spleen meridians. Liver heat causes blurred vision, while Spleen stagnation heat leads to infantile malnutrition (Gan syndrome) or foul breath. The Spleen governs muscles, and the Liver governs the blood aspect; heat accumulation in these two meridians often results in carbuncles and swelling. The bitter-cold property clears heat from both meridians, hence it treats both conditions. Furthermore, in treating Gan syndrome, tuberculosis, and corpse-transmission diseases, it mainly utilizes the bitter-cold nature to kill parasites and clear all heat accumulations in the zang-fu organs.
Elephant Ivory is miraculous in treating foreign bodies like iron splinters. If lodged in the throat, mix with water for drinking; if embedded in flesh, apply externally as a poultice; if taken raw and decocted, it can relieve urinary retention; if calcined to ash and drunk, it stops excessive urination. Elephant Gallbladder primarily brightens the eyes; for carbuncles and abscesses, dilute with water and apply topically; for foul breath, wrap a small amount in cotton and apply to the gum roots, rinse away in the morning, and heal after several applications. Elephant Skin has strong astringent properties; if a hook is inserted into the skin and pulled out, the wound heals within half a day. Thus, when incorporated into ointments and powders, it is a key medicine for promoting tissue regeneration and healing metal wounds.
Main Indications (Integrating Smallpox and Rashes): Elephant Ivory strongly promotes diuresis; therefore, it is used for smallpox that fails to crust over because of its ability to promote water metabolism. Another view suggests it can induce the eruption of smallpox; for smallpox appearing in the eyes, grinding it into water for washing is most excellent.
