玉屑研细极，免人淋壅，然不若以消化作水者尤佳。主解渴咽喉，除热胃脘，润心
神，能明目，助音声，止喘息；久服勿已，耐老轻身。然禀纯阳之精，凡酒色不戒者轻
服，似以火济火，为害匪轻。
玛瑙，玉之属也。寒而带辛，故能辟恶及熨目赤烂也。珊瑚得水中之阴气以生，味
甘，气平，无毒，性主消散，故点目中去肤翳。更消宿血，故吹鼻中止鼻衄也。
玛瑙，辟恶精邪、熨目赤烂。珊瑚中多细孔，刺则汁流，以金投之，为金浆，以玉
投之，为玉髓，得饮之者，可致长生。主治消宿血，去目翳，止鼻衄。
其味甘，其气平，无毒。色白而主肺，此石药中温良之品也。以其法金，故主肌
表，以其甘平镇堕、能使火下而水上，得既济之象，故五脏安，子精益续绝补中，轻身
明目。阳起石即云母根，禀纯阳之气以生，味咸气温无毒。《图经》所载，齐州阳起山，
其山常有暖气，虽盛冬大雪遍境，此山独无，盖起石熏蒸也。其为气之温暖，可知
矣。以咸温之性，专入右肾命门，补助阳气，并除积寒宿血留滞下焦之圣药。云头两
脚鹭鸶毛轻松如野狼牙者佳。
云母，务须照法精制，不可轻饵。主身皮死肌，中风寒热。如在车船上，治赤白痢
疾，及妇人带下崩中。安五脏，益子精，除邪气，耐寒暑，治遍身瘙痒，敷一切痛疮，
坚肌续绝补中，五劳七伤虚损，明目下气，悦色延年。阳起石，治肾气乏绝阴痿，破血
瘕积凝腹痛，去男子阴囊湿痒，驱妇人五脏寒邪，崩中漏下，补不足。令人有子，去臭汗水肿能消。
玉屑需要研磨得极其细碎，以避免引起吞咽时的阻塞感，然而不如将其消化溶解在水中服用效果更佳。玉屑主要能缓解口渴和咽喉不适，清除胃脘部的热邪，滋润心神，能够明目，辅助声音洪亮，平息喘息；长期不间断地服用，可以延缓衰老，使身体轻盈。但是玉屑禀受纯阳的精气，凡是不能节制饮酒和房事的人，即使少量服用，也如同以火救火，带来的危害不小。
玛瑙，属于玉石一类。性质寒凉且带有辛味，所以能够驱除邪恶之气以及用于热敷治疗眼睛红肿溃烂。珊瑚生长于水中，汲取水中的阴气，味道甘甜，气性平和，没有毒性，其性质主要在于消散，所以点入眼中可以去除皮肤上的翳障。更能消除停滞的瘀血，所以吹入鼻中可以止住鼻出血。
玛瑙，能驱除邪恶精怪之气、热敷治疗眼睛红肿溃烂。珊瑚内部有很多细小的孔洞，刺破后汁液流出，投入黄金则成为金浆，投入玉石则成为玉髓，饮用的人，可以达到长生不老的效果。主治消除停滞的瘀血，去除眼翳，止住鼻衄。
（珊瑚）味道甘甜，气性平和，没有毒性。颜色白色而主应肺脏，这是石类药物中温和良善的品种。因为它符合金的法则，所以主治肌表病症，因为它的甘平之性能镇坠下行，能使心火下降而肾水上济，呈现出水火既济的景象，所以五脏安宁，子精得以延续，绝处逢生并补益中气，使身体轻盈，目光明亮。
阳起石即是云母的根，禀受纯阳之气而生，味道咸，气性温，没有毒性。《图经》记载，齐州的阳起山，山上常有暖气，即使在盛夏大雪覆盖全境时，这座山却独自没有积雪，这大概是阳起石熏蒸所致。由此可知它的气性是温暖的。凭借咸温的性质，专门进入右肾命门，补助阳气，是祛除积寒、停滞在下焦的瘀血的圣药。云头两脚像鹭鸶毛一样轻松如野狼牙形状的是佳品。
云母，务必按照方法精制，不可轻易服用。主治身体皮肤的死肌，中风引起的寒热症状。如果在车船之上，可治疗赤白痢疾，以及妇女带下病和崩漏。安定五脏，补益子精，驱除邪气，耐寒暑，治疗全身瘙痒，敷治一切痛疮，坚固肌肉，延续生机并补益中气，治疗五劳七伤导致的虚损，明目降气，美容延年。
阳起石，治疗肾气衰竭导致的阳痿，破除血瘕积聚引起的腹痛，去除男子阴囊湿痒，驱除妇人五脏的寒邪，治疗崩中漏下，补充不足。使人能够生育，去除口臭、汗出和水肿都能消除。
Jade powder (Yuxie) must be ground extremely fine to prevent choking or obstruction, yet it is even better if it can be digested and dissolved in water. It primarily relieves thirst and throat discomfort, clears heat from the epigastrium, moistens the Heart Spirit (Shen), improves vision, aids voice projection, and stops panting; long-term continuous use can delay aging and make the body feel light. However, as it embodies pure Yang essence, those who do not abstain from alcohol and sexual indulgence should take it with caution, for even a small dose is like adding fuel to the fire, causing significant harm.
Agate (Manao) belongs to the jade category. Its nature is cold and acrid, thus it can dispel evil influences and be used as a hot compress for red and ulcerated eyes. Coral (Shanhu) grows by absorbing Yin Qi from water; its taste is sweet, its Qi is neutral, and it is non-toxic. Its nature mainly promotes dispersion, so when applied to the eyes, it removes corneal opacities (Yi). It further resolves stagnant blood, so when insufflated into the nose, it stops epistaxis.
Agate dispels evil spirits and treats red, ulcerated eyes via hot compress. Coral has many fine pores; when pierced, juice flows out. If gold is thrown into it, it becomes Gold Paste (Jinjiang); if jade is thrown into it, it becomes Jade Marrow (Yusui). Those who drink these can achieve longevity. Its main indications are resolving stagnant blood, removing eye opacities, and stopping epistaxis.
(Coral's) taste is sweet, its Qi is neutral, and it is non-toxic. Its white color corresponds to the Lung, making it a mild and benevolent mineral drug. Because it conforms to the Metal principle, it treats exterior muscle-skin conditions. Due to its sweet and neutral nature that descends and anchors, it enables Heart Fire to descend and Kidney Water to ascend, creating the image of "Both Fulfilled" (Ji Ji), thereby calming the Five Viscera, continuing the Essence (Jing), restoring what was lost, tonifying the Middle Jiao, lightening the body, and improving vision.
Yangqi Stone (Yangqishi) is the root of Mica (Yunmu). It is born embodying pure Yang Qi; its taste is salty, its Qi is warm, and it is non-toxic. The *Tu Jing* records that at Yangqi Mountain in Qizhou, there is often warmth; even in deep winter with heavy snow covering the region, this mountain remains free of snow, likely due to the steaming effect of Yangqi Stone. This indicates its warming nature. With its salty and warm properties, it specifically enters the Right Kidney and Mingmen (Gate of Life), tonifies Yang Qi, and is a sacred medicine for eliminating accumulated cold and stagnant blood lodged in the Lower Jiao. The best quality resembles the head and legs of an egret, with loose fibers like wild wolf teeth.
Mica (Yunmu) must be strictly refined according to method and should not be taken lightly. It treats dead skin on the body and wind-stroke-induced chills and fever. When traveling by carriage or boat, it treats bloody and non-bloody dysentery, as well as leukorrhea and metrorrhagia in women. It calms the Five Viscera, benefits the Essence (Jing), dispels evil Qi, adapts to cold and heat, treats generalized pruritus, applies to all painful sores, strengthens muscles, restores vitality, tonifies the Middle, treats deficiency caused by the Five Exhaustions and Seven Injuries, improves vision, directs Qi downward, enhances complexion, and prolongs life.
Yangqi Stone treats renal Qi exhaustion leading to impotence, breaks up blood stasis masses causing abdominal pain, removes dampness and itching of the male scrotum, drives out Cold Evil from the Five Viscera in women, treats metrorrhagia and metrorrhagia with dripping, supplements deficiencies, facilitates conception, and eliminates bad breath, sweating, and edema.
