子大。每十丸，空心茶清下。
花草膏 腊月羯羊胆一枚，以蜜灌满，入朱砂末少许，挂起阴干，用时取一粒入瓷器内，水化点眼。治火眼，
烂弦风眼，痛痒羞明，及眼胞皮肉有似胶凝，肿如桃李，时出热泪，或取少许含化。以蜜乃百花之英，羊胆
乃百草之精，故名。
退翳丸 栝蒌根、枳实、甘草、草决明、蔓荆子、薄荷各五钱、川芎、木贼、密蒙花、荆芥穗、甘菊花、
白蒺藜各一两，蛇蜕、蝉蜕、黄连各三钱，当归一两半，川椒七钱半；或去蔓荆、甘草、川椒，加生地一两，犀
角五钱，为末，蜜丸弹子大。每细嚼一丸。有翳障米饮下；昏暗及妇人，当归煎汤下；内障有气者，磨木香汤
下。治一切目疾皆效。
神翳散 真蛤粉、谷精草各一两，为末。每二钱，用生猪肝一片，三手指大，批开糁药在上，卷定，以线
缚之，用浓米泔一碗，煮熟为度，取出稍冷，细嚼煮肝，米泔送下，或加石燕、槟榔、磨刺尤妙。忌炙爆毒物。
治目内翳障，及疹疮后余毒不散，目生翳膜，隐涩多泪。如小儿疳眼，加夜明砂等分。
治雀目能早视不能晚视方 用 猪肝煮熟，和夜明砂作丸服之，外取白犬初生时乳汁点眼有，小犬眼开，
而人眼亦见。
搐鼻也须妙质。
搐鼻散 雄黄、朱砂各二钱，细辛五钱，脑、麝各少许，为末。令病患口含水，以少许吹入鼻中。治风热
肿赤难开。
点眼地黄膏 生地一合，黄连一两，黄柏、寒水石各五钱，用地黄捣自然汁，和成饼子，用时衬纸点眼上。
治被物撞打，及风热暴赤肿痛，目热泪出等眼，并皆治之，以其性凉，能逐去热毒故耳。如火烧汤泼，再加黄
芩、山栀、大黄等分，为末，酒调敷。
洗既多方，
五行汤 洗暴赤眼及时行肿毒疼痛，用黄柏一味为末，以湿纸裹黄泥包煨，候泥干取出，每用一弹子大，
绢包浸水内，饭上蒸熟，乘热熏洗极效。此方有金木水火土制过，故名。一丸可用二三次。
洗暴赤眼 当归、黄连各一钱，赤芍、防风各五分，杏仁四枚，用水半盏，入人乳汁少许，浸药蒸过，澄
清点洗。
洗冷眼及伤寒者 防风、荆芥、菊花叶梗、薄荷、当归、干姜少许，煎汤洗。
洗冷泪 当归、槟榔、陈艾、荆芥、防风、菊花、木贼、五倍子，煎汤温洗。
洗红烂眼 当归、黄连、杏仁、铜青、皮硝净 各五分，为末，每三分，用井水不半盏调，隔纸洗。
洗风毒赤肿痒痛眼 黄连、蔓荆子、苦参各五钱，五倍子三钱，分作四次，煎汤澄清洗。热甚加芩、柏，风
甚加荆、防、薄荷。
洗 肉侵睛 归尾、黄连、荆芥、防风、朴硝、硼砂、薄荷煎汤温洗。翳加木贼，痛加乳香，虫痒加生姜。
洗眼睛突出 用新汲水沃眼中，频洗换水，其眼自入；仍以麦门冬、桑白皮、山栀子，水煎，通口服之。
点岂无术？
春雪膏 于春天雪冻时取净朴硝三四斤为末，用黄连、防风、赤芍、归尾各五钱，牙皂三片，各锉碎与硝拌
和，入雪三四斤，同拌匀为水，过一宿绢滤去渣，以瓦盆盛于露天，受霜露之气，次早结成砂子，却用盆一个，
以纸斤铺盆底内，用皮纸盛砂于盆内纸斤上，使砂中水气尽渗于纸内，候砂干爽，以瓷器收贮封固，如用，每硝
砂一两，入硼砂五钱，片脑一钱或三钱，研细点眼，有翳加蕤仁五钱，治眼赤翳障羞明，但点愈即止，不可常
点，令眼皮软缩，倒睫拳毛。
治 肉瘀突 用硼砂一钱，片脑半分或一分，为末，以灯心蘸点其上。
治风眼流泪不止 用绿甘石、乌贼骨各等分为末，入片脑少许，点目井口，其泪即止。一方用白炉甘石
八钱，片脑二分半，为末，点眼；或用少许，以白汤泡化，时时洗之，治一切眼疾。
光明丹 白炉甘一两，辰砂一钱，硼砂二钱，轻粉五分，片脑三分，多至五分，麝香一分，如赤眼肿痛，
加乳、没各五分，内外翳障加珍珠五分，胆矾、熊胆各二分，烂弦风眼，加铜青、黄丹各五分，为极细末另入，
临时加减和匀，再研一二日，瓷器收贮，密封口，不可泄气。诸般眼疾皆效。
八宝丹 炉甘石、黄丹、生明矾各一两，乳香、脑、麝各三钱，珍珠（用蚌蛤盛之，以铁线缚合，火中
过）。朱砂各五钱，各为末，用蜜一两半，以铜锅熬去膜，系绵滤过，先下朱、麝、砂、矾、丹，次下脑石，
搅匀，乘热为丸黄豆大，朱砂为衣，瓷罐收贮，多年愈坚愈好，临用以井水磨化，点眼神效。
蕤仁膏 净蕤仁一两，硼砂一钱二分，片脑五分，熊胆三钱，为末，用生蜜四两调匀，瓷罐收贮，点眼，
去翳障如神。
金露膏 先将蜜六两溶化，下黄丹一两，长流水四盏，用嫩柳枝六七茎搅匀，次下蕤仁末一两，候滚十数
沸，又下黄连末五钱，不住手搅，熬至一盏七八分，纸衬绢滤过收之。有瘀肉加 砂一钱，火上慢开和入。
除昏退翳，截赤定痛。
立消散 白生盐少许，研末，用灯心蘸盐，轻手指定浮翳就点，凡三次，不疼痛，勿惊恐。治浮翳、粟翳、
雾膜遮睛，屡效。
姜液膏 生姜母一块，以银簪插入即拔出，点眼头尾。治风痒冷泪，烂弦有虫。
治烂弦眼 薄荷、荆芥、细辛为末，如烧香状烧之，以碗涂蜜少许于内覆烟上，取烟尽后，以瓷罐收之。
凡眼有风热多泪者，皆可点之。
明上膏 黄丹四两， 砂、乳香、青盐、轻粉、硼砂、片脑各二钱，麝五分，金星石、银星石、井泉石、
云母石各一两，黄连、乌贼骨各五钱，另为末，先将黄丹于锅内炒令紫色，次下白蜜一斤，候熬至沫散，其色
皆紫，次入腊月水三盏，再熬二十余沸，入余药同熬，令滴于指甲上成珠为度，用浓纸三重铺在筲箕上，将
前药倾于纸上滤过，瓷罐收贮，放水内浸三日夜去火毒，其水一日一换。看眼轻重，临晚用箸蘸药点大 头，
以眼涩为度。若治内外障，用面调成圈子，临卧置眼上，倾药入内，一月见效。此方大治远年近日，内外浓障，
瘀肉攀睛，眼眶赤烂，隐涩羞明，推眵有泪，视物茫茫，时见黑花，或睑生风粟，或翳膜侵睛，时发痒痛。如
口疮，涂之立愈。
拨风云膏 砂、硼砂、珍珠、琥珀火 、珊瑚、玛瑙、珲 各火 三钱，熊胆、石燕火 醋淬三个，
自然铜、乳香、没药、当归各二钱，轻粉、青盐、胆矾、铜青、血竭、海螵蛸、麝香、黄连、黄芩、黄柏、白
丁香、石蟹、牛黄各二两，炉甘石半斤，黄丹四两，各另为末，用蜜一斤绢滤，放水二盏于铜锅内，熬至滴水
成珠，方入黄丹搅匀，次入诸药和匀，捏成锭子，油纸摊放地上，盆覆出汗为度，次日用笋箬包裹收之。用时
以井水或梨汁化开，银簪点入，将目紧闭仰卧，切不可走泪，使药随泪出无效。但有攀睛云翳，每日点三次，
点三日，歇三日，看障翳俱尽，方研冰片三厘和膏半分，再点一次，光即复矣。忌牛、羊、鱼、肉、葱、蒜、
韭、房事及酒，空心点眼。如火眼加冰片； 肉攀睛，眼绊红丝加蕤仁、熊胆，与药等分，亦用水化开前药，
将冰片等药研加之。
取虫法 用覆子叶洗净，捣自然汁，以皂纱蒙眼上，将笔蘸药汁，画两眸于纱上，然后以汁滴眼中，当有虫
细如丝，赤色，出于纱上，或着药于纱上亦可。治烂弦风痒及眼暗不见，冷泪侵淫不止。如青盲眼，取汁阴干，
入人乳汁化开点目，即仰卧，更入片脑少许尤为妙，三四日间视物如少年。
耳聋桂香芎芷，可清神以宣风；
桂香散 辣桂、川芎、当归、细辛、菖蒲、木香、木通、白蒺藜、麻黄、甘草各二分半，南星、白芷各四
分，紫苏一分，葱二茎，水煎服。治风虚耳聋。
芎芷散 白芷、菖蒲、苍术、陈皮、细辛、浓朴、半夏、甘草、木通、紫苏、辣桂各二分半，川芎一分，姜、
葱煎服。治风入耳虚鸣。
清神散 僵蚕、菊花各一两、荆芥、羌活、木通、川芎、香附、防风、菖蒲、甘草各三钱，为末，每三钱，
食后临卧茶清下。治风气壅上，头目不清，耳常重听。
虚聋磁石骨脂，能益肾以通郁。
磁石羊肾丸 磁石三两 ，再用葱白、木通各三两，同水煮一日夜，取净末二两；川芎、白术、川椒、枣
肉、防风、茯苓、细辛、山药、远志、川乌、木香、当归、鹿茸、菟丝子、黄 各一两，肉桂六钱半，熟地二两，
菖蒲一两半，为末，用羊腰子两对，去皮膜，酒煮烂，和酒糊丸梧子大，每五十丸，心温酒盐汤任下。治诸般
耳聋，补虚开窍，行郁散风去湿。
磁石汤 磁石、五味子、杜仲、白术、白石英各二钱，黄 、茯苓各一钱，水煎服。治肾虚耳聋，面黑饥
不欲食，腰胁背痛。
补骨脂丸 熟地、当归、川芎、辣桂、菟丝子、川椒、故纸、白蒺藜、葫芦巴、杜仲、白芷、菖蒲各二
钱半，磁石一钱二分半，为末，蜜丸梧子大，每五十丸，葱白温酒下，治劳损耳聋。
益肾散 磁石、巴戟、沉香、菖蒲、川椒各一两，为末，每二钱，用猪肾一枚细切，和以葱、盐并药，用湿
纸十重，包裹煨令熟，空心细嚼酒下。治肾虚耳聋。
柴胡犀角，消耳核脓流；
柴胡聪耳汤 连翘四钱，柴胡三钱，甘草三钱，当归、人参各一钱，生姜三片，水二盏，煎至一盏，去渣，
入水蛭五分，虻虫三枚，麝香少许，煎二沸，食远服。治耳中干结，耳鸣而聋。
犀角饮子 犀角、菖蒲、木通、玄参、赤芍、赤小豆、甘菊各五分，甘草二分半，姜煎温服，治风热上壅，
两耳聋闭，外内肿痛，脓水流出。如左甚加蔓荆子、生地，右甚加桑白皮、麦门冬。
鼠粘子汤，止耳痛血出。
昆布、苏木、黄连、蒲黄、草龙胆各二分，鼠粘子、连翘、生地、归尾、黄芩、生甘草、炙甘草各三分，黄
、柴胡各四分，桔梗一钱半，桃仁三个，红花少许，水煎服，忌寒凉，利大便。治耳痛生疮。
鼻病御寒，通气防乌天南；
御寒汤 黄连、黄柏（降火）、羌活各二分，黄 一钱，人参五分（补肺），甘草、款冬花、佛耳草（消
痰）、白芷、防风各三分，陈皮、升麻各五分，苍术七分，通寒气之壅塞，水煎热服。治寒伤皮毛，鼻塞咳嗽，
上气喘急。
通气汤 羌活、独活、苍术、防风、升麻、葛根各六分，白芷、甘草、川椒各二分，冬月加麻黄二分，姜、
枣、葱白前煎服。忌冷物、风寒。治鼻塞不闻香臭。
防风散 防风五分，黄芩、人参、甘草、川芎、麦门冬各二分，为末，食后沸汤调服。治鼻渊脑热，渗下
浊涕不止。
川乌散 防风、白附子、川乌、甘草节、川芎、白芷、细辛、干姜、菖蒲、茯苓各等分，为末。每三钱，
葱汤下。
单南星饮 南星为末，每二钱，用枣七枚，甘草少许同煎，食后服。三四服后，其硬物自出，脑气流转，
浊涕自收。外用荜茇饼。治风邪入脑，宿冷不消，鼻内结物，窒塞脑气，遂流浊髓。
澄茄丸 荜澄茄五钱，薄荷三钱，荆芥穗一钱半，为末，蜜丸芡实大。每一丸，噙化津咽下，或薄荷煎汤
磨服。治大人、小儿鼻塞不通。
芷荑散 白芷一两，辛荑五钱，苍耳子三钱半，薄荷五分，为末。每二钱，葱茶清调服。治鼻流浊涕不
止。
鼻病外治，通草细辛香荜。
通草丸 通草、细辛、附子各等分，蜜丸
绵裹塞鼻中。治鼻 有 肉，不闻香臭。
细辛膏 黑附子、川椒、川芎、细辛、吴萸、干姜各一钱半，桂心三钱半，皂角二钱，俱用醋浸一宿取
出，以猪油二两同煎附子，色黄为度，绵蘸膏塞鼻中。治鼻寒脑流清涕。
荜茇饼 荜茇、香附、大蒜杵作饼，纱衬炙热贴囟门，上用熨斗火熨透，其涕自止。
硫粉消酒 之红；
硫粉散 生硫黄、轻粉各一钱，杏仁五分，为末，用饼药调，临卧时涂，次早洗去，兼治妇人鼻上黑粉刺。
瓜矾去鼻痔之疾。
瓜矾散 瓜蒂四钱，甘遂一钱，白矾（枯）、螺壳（ ）、草乌尖各五分，为末，用真麻油调令软硬得
所，旋丸如鼻孔大，每日一次，以药入鼻内。令达痔肉上，其痔化为水，肉皆烂下，即愈。
口舌之本，五福琥犀黑参丸；
五福化毒丹 玄参、桔梗各三两，茯苓二两半，人参、牙硝、青黛各一两，甘草七钱半，麝香一分，为末，
蜜丸芡实大，金、银箔各四十片。每一丸或半丸，小儿一丸分作四服，俱薄荷煎汤化下。治积热惊惕，狂谵烦渴，
颊赤咽干，唇口肿破生疮，夜卧不宁，头面遍体多生疮疖，及小儿惊风痰热潮搐等证。如大人口臭，及小儿疮
疹上攻，口齿涎血臭气，用生地自然汁化一丸，以鸡翎刷口内；热疳黄瘦雀目者，陈粟米泔下，食后临卧服。
琥珀犀角膏 琥珀、犀角、辰砂各一钱，茯神、人参、酸枣仁各二钱，片脑一字，各另为极细末，秤净
和匀，用炼蜜搜成膏子，以瓦罐收贮，密封、俟其疾作，每取一弹子大，以麦门冬浓煎汤化下，一日五服。治
咽喉口舌生疮菌，其效如神。
黑参丸 玄参、天门冬、麦门冬各等分为末，蜜丸弹子大。每一丸，绵裹噙化，津液下。
治口舌生疮，经久不愈。
口舌之标，四般冰柏薄荷蜜。
（前文省略）每次服用十丸，空腹时用茶汁送服。
花草膏：取腊月里羯羊的胆一枚，用蜂蜜灌满，加入少许朱砂末，悬挂起来阴干。用时取一粒放入瓷器中，用水化开点眼。治疗火眼、烂弦风眼（眼睑边缘红肿溃烂伴风邪侵袭）、疼痛瘙痒畏光，以及眼睑皮肉肿胀像胶凝一样，肿得像桃李，时常流出热泪；或者取少许含在口中化开。因为蜂蜜是百花精华，羊胆是百草精粹，所以叫这个名字。
退翳丸：栝蒌根、枳实、甘草、草决明、蔓荆子、薄荷各五钱，川芎、木贼、密蒙花、荆芥穗、甘菊花、白蒺藜各一两，蛇蜕、蝉蜕、黄连各三钱，当归一两半，川椒七钱半；或者去掉蔓荆子、甘草、川椒，加生地黄一两，犀角五钱，研为细末，用蜂蜜做成梧桐子大小的丸子。每次细嚼一丸。如果有翳障，用米汤送下；视力昏暗及妇女患者，用当归煎汤送下；内障伴有气滞者，用磨木香汤送下。治疗各种眼疾都有效。
神翳散：真蛤粉、谷精草各一两，研为细末。每次取二钱药末，用一片生猪肝（约三指宽大小），剖开后撒上药末，卷好，用线捆紧，用一碗浓米泔水煮熟为止。取出稍凉后，细嚼煮熟的猪肝，用米泔水送下。也可以加石燕、槟榔，研磨刺入眼中更妙。忌食烤炸毒物。治疗目内翳障，以及疹疮后余毒不散，眼睛生翳膜，隐涩多泪。如果是小儿疳积引起的眼病，加夜明砂等量。
治疗雀目（夜盲症）能早视不能晚视的方子：用猪肝煮熟，和夜明砂一起做成丸子服用。外用取白狗初生时的乳汁点眼，小狗眼睛睁开时，人的眼睛也能看见。
搐鼻疗法也需要讲究质地。
搐鼻散：雄黄、朱砂各二钱，细辛五钱，冰片、麝香各少许，研为细末。让病患口含水，将少许药粉吹入鼻中。治疗风热导致的红肿难睁。
点眼地黄膏：生地黄一合，黄连一两，黄柏、寒水石各五钱。用地黄捣取自然汁，调和成药饼，用时垫纸点在眼上。治疗被物体撞击打伤，以及风热暴赤肿痛，眼泪直流等眼病，都能治疗，因为其性凉，能去除热毒。如果是火烧或热水烫伤，再加黄芩、山栀、大黄等量，研为细末，用酒调匀敷贴。
洗眼的方法多种多样，
五行汤：清洗暴赤眼及时行肿毒疼痛，用黄柏一味研为细末，用湿纸包裹黄泥煨烧，等到泥干取出，每次取弹子大一团，用绢布包好浸在水中，饭上蒸熟，趁热熏洗非常有效。此方经过金木水火土五行制过，所以叫这个名字。一丸可以用两三次。
洗暴赤眼：当归、黄连各一钱，赤芍、防风各五分，杏仁四枚，用水半盏，加入人乳汁少许，浸泡药物蒸过，澄清后点洗。
洗冷眼及伤寒引起的眼病：防风、荆芥、菊花叶梗、薄荷、当归、干姜少许，煎汤洗。
洗冷泪：当归、槟榔、陈艾、荆芥、防风、菊花、木贼、五倍子，煎汤温洗。
洗红烂眼：当归、黄连、杏仁、铜青、皮硝净各五分，研为细末，每次取三分，用井水不到半盏调匀，隔纸洗。
洗风毒赤肿痒痛眼：黄连、蔓荆子、苦参各五钱，五倍子三钱，分作四次，煎汤澄清后清洗。热甚加黄芩、黄柏，风甚加荆芥、防风、薄荷。
洗胬肉侵睛：归尾、黄连、荆芥、防风、朴硝、硼砂、薄荷煎汤温洗。有翳加木贼，痛加乳香，虫痒加生姜。
洗眼睛突出：用新汲取的冷水冲洗眼中，频繁换水，眼球自然会回去；仍然用麦门冬、桑白皮、山栀子，水煎，通口服之。
点眼难道没有方法吗？

拨风云膏：硼砂、珍珠、琥珀火煅、珊瑚、玛瑙、珲石各火煅三钱，熊胆、石燕火煅醋淬三个，自然铜、乳香、没药、当归各二钱，轻粉、青盐、胆矾、铜青、血竭、海螵蛸、麝香、黄连、黄芩、黄柏、白丁香、石蟹、牛黄各二两，炉甘石半斤，黄丹四两，各另为末，用蜜一斤绢滤，放水二盏于铜锅内，熬至滴水成珠，方入黄丹搅匀，次入诸药和匀，捏成锭子，油纸摊放地上，盆覆出汗为度，次日用笋箬包裹收之。用时以井水或梨汁化开，银簪点入，将目紧闭仰卧，切不可走泪，使药随泪出无效。但有攀睛云翳，每日点三次，点三日，歇三日，看障翳俱尽，方研冰片三厘和膏半分，再点一次，光即复矣。忌牛、羊、鱼、肉、葱、蒜、韭、房事及酒，空心点眼。如火眼加冰片；胬肉攀睛，眼绊红丝加蕤仁、熊胆，与药等分，亦用水化开前药，将冰片等药研加之。
取虫法：用覆盆子叶洗净，捣自然汁，以皂纱蒙眼上，将笔蘸药汁，画两眸于纱上，然后以汁滴眼中，当有虫细如丝，赤色，出于纱上，或着药于纱上亦可。治烂弦风痒及眼暗不见，冷泪侵淫不止。如青盲眼，取汁阴干，入人乳汁化开点目，即仰卧，更入片脑少许尤为妙，三四日间视物如少年。
桂香散：辣桂、川芎、当归、细辛、菖蒲、木香、木通、白蒺藜、麻黄、甘草各二分半，南星、白芷各四分，紫苏一分，葱二茎，水煎服。治风虚耳聋。
芎芷散：白芷、菖蒲、苍术、陈皮、细辛、浓朴、半夏、甘草、木通、紫苏、辣桂各二分半，川芎一分，姜、葱煎服。治风入耳虚鸣。
清神散：僵蚕、菊花各一两、荆芥、羌活、木通、川芎、香附、防风、菖蒲、甘草各三钱，为末，每三钱，食后临卧茶清下。治风气壅上，头目不清，耳常重听。
磁石羊肾丸：磁石三两，再用葱白、木通各三两，同水煮一日夜，取净末二两；川芎、白术、川椒、枣肉、防风、茯苓、细辛、山药、远志、川乌、木香、当归、鹿茸、菟丝子、黄柏各一两，肉桂六钱半，熟地二两，菖蒲一两半，为末，用羊腰子两对，去皮膜，酒煮烂，和酒糊丸梧子大，每五十丸，心温酒盐汤任下。治诸般耳聋，补虚开窍，行郁散风去湿。
磁石汤：磁石、五味子、杜仲、白术、白石英各二钱，黄柏、茯苓各一钱，水煎服。治肾虚耳聋，面黑饥不欲食，腰胁背痛。
补骨脂丸：熟地、当归、川芎、辣桂、菟丝子、川椒、故纸、白蒺藜、葫芦巴、杜仲、白芷、菖蒲各二钱半，磁石一钱二分半，为末，蜜丸梧子大，每五十丸，葱白温酒下，治劳损耳聋。
益肾散：磁石、巴戟、沉香、菖蒲、川椒各一两，为末，每二钱，用猪肾一枚细切，和以葱、盐并药，用湿纸十重，包裹煨令熟，空心细嚼酒下。治肾虚耳聋。
柴胡聪耳汤：连翘四钱，柴胡三钱，甘草三钱，当归、人参各一钱，生姜三片，水二盏，煎至一盏，去渣，入水蛭五分，虻虫三枚，麝香少许，煎二沸，食远服。治耳中干结，耳鸣而聋。
犀角饮子：犀角、菖蒲、木通、玄参、赤芍、赤小豆、甘菊各五分，甘草二分半，姜煎温服，治风热上壅，两耳聋闭，外内肿痛，脓水流出。如左甚加蔓荆子、生地，右甚加桑白皮、麦门冬。
鼠粘子汤，止耳痛血出。
昆布、苏木、黄连、蒲黄、草龙胆各二分，鼠粘子、连翘、生地、归尾、黄芩、生甘草、炙甘草各三分，黄柏、柴胡各四分，桔梗一钱半，桃仁三个，红花少许，水煎服，忌寒凉，利大便。治耳痛生疮。
鼻病御寒，通气防乌天南；
御寒汤：黄连、黄柏（降火）、羌活各二分，黄柏一钱，人参五分（补肺），甘草、款冬花、佛耳草（消痰）、白芷、防风各三分，陈皮、升麻各五分，苍术七分，通寒气之壅塞，水煎热服。治寒伤皮毛，鼻塞咳嗽，上气喘急。
通气汤：羌活、独活、苍术、防风、升麻、葛根各六分，白芷、甘草、川椒各二分，冬月加麻黄二分，姜、枣、葱白前煎服。忌冷物、风寒。治鼻塞不闻香臭。
防风散：防风五分，黄芩、人参、甘草、川芎、麦门冬各二分，为末，食后沸汤调服。治鼻渊脑热，渗下浊涕不止。
川乌散：防风、白附子、川乌、甘草节、川芎、白芷、细辛、干姜、菖蒲、茯苓各等分，为末。每三钱，葱汤下。
单南星饮：南星为末，每二钱，用枣七枚，甘草少许同煎，食后服。三四服后，其硬物自出，脑气流转，浊涕自收。外用荜茇饼。治风邪入脑，宿冷不消，鼻内结物，窒塞脑气，遂流浊髓。
澄茄丸：荜澄茄五钱，薄荷三钱，荆芥穗一钱半，为末，蜜丸芡实大。每一丸，噙化津咽下，或薄荷煎汤磨服。治大人、小儿鼻塞不通。
芷荑散：白芷一两，辛荑五钱，苍耳子三钱半，薄荷五分，为末。每二钱，葱茶清调服。治鼻流浊涕不止。
通草丸：通草、细辛、附子各等分，蜜丸绵裹塞鼻中。治鼻息肉有赘肉，不闻香臭。
细辛膏：黑附子、川椒、川芎、细辛、吴萸、干姜各一钱半，桂心三钱半，皂角二钱，俱用醋浸一宿取出，以猪油二两同煎附子，色黄为度，绵蘸膏塞鼻中。治鼻寒脑流清涕。
荜茇饼：荜茇、香附、大蒜杵作饼，纱衬炙热贴囟门，上用熨斗火熨透，其涕自止。
硫粉消酒渣鼻之红；
硫粉散：生硫黄、轻粉各一钱，杏仁五分，为末，用饼药调，临卧时涂，次早洗去，兼治妇人鼻上黑粉刺。
瓜矾去鼻痔之疾。
瓜矾散：瓜蒂四钱，甘遂一钱，白矾（枯）、螺壳（煅）、草乌尖各五分，为末，用真麻油调令软硬得所，旋丸如鼻孔大，每日一次，以药入鼻内。令达痔肉上，其痔化为水，肉皆烂下，即愈。
口舌之本，五福琥犀黑参丸；
五福化毒丹：玄参、桔梗各三两，茯苓二两半，人参、牙硝、青黛各一两，甘草七钱半，麝香一分，为末，蜜丸芡实大，金、银箔各四十片。每一丸或半丸，小儿一丸分作四服，俱薄荷煎汤化下。治积热惊惕，狂谵烦渴，颊赤咽干，唇口肿破生疮，夜卧不宁，头面遍体多生疮疖，及小儿惊风痰热潮搐等证。如大人口臭，及小儿疮疹上攻，口齿涎血臭气，用生地自然汁化一丸，以鸡翎刷口内；热疳黄瘦雀目者，陈粟米泔下，食后临卧服。
琥珀犀角膏：琥珀、犀角、辰砂各一钱，茯神、人参、酸枣仁各二钱，片脑一字，各另为极细末，秤净和匀，用炼蜜搜成膏子，以瓦罐收贮，密封、俟其疾作，每取一弹子大，以麦门冬浓煎汤化下，一日五服。治咽喉口舌生疮菌，其效如神。
黑参丸：玄参、天门冬、麦门冬各等分为末，蜜丸弹子大。每一丸，绵裹噙化，津液下。治口舌生疮，经久不愈。
口舌之标，四般冰柏薄荷蜜。

Huacao Gao (Flower and Grass Ointment): Take one gallbladder from a castrated sheep in the twelfth lunar month, fill it with honey, add a small amount of Cinnabar powder, hang it up to dry in the shade. When needed, take one pill, place it in a porcelain vessel, dissolve it in water, and apply to the eyes. It treats Fire Eye (acute conjunctivitis), Lianxian Fengyan (marginal blepharitis with wind-pathogen invasion), pain, itching, photophobia, and eyelid swelling resembling coagulated glue or peaches/plums, with frequent tearing; or take a small amount and hold in the mouth to dissolve. Because honey is the essence of hundred flowers and sheep gallbladder is the essence of hundred herbs, it is named so.
Tuiyi Wan (Pterygium-Removing Pill): Trichosanthis Radix, Immature Bitter Orange, Licorice Root, Cassiae Semen, Vitex Fruit, Mint each 5 qian; Ligusticum Chuanxiong Rhizome, Equisetum Hiemale, Flos Tribulus, Schizonepeta Spike, Chrysanthemum Flower, Tribulus Fruit each 1 liang; Snake Slough, Cicada Slough, Coptis Rhizome each 3 qian; Angelica Sinensis Radix 1.5 liang; Zanthoxylum Bungeanum Pericarpium 7.5 qian; alternatively, remove Vitex Fruit, Licorice Root, Zanthoxylum, add Rehmannia Root 1 liang, Rhinoceros Horn 5 qian. Grind into fine powder, make pills with honey the size of a bullet. Chew one pill finely each time. If there is pterygium, swallow with rice water; for dim vision and women, swallow with Angelica Decoction; for internal cataracts with qi stagnation, swallow with Liquidambar Decoction. Effective for all eye diseases.
Shenyi San (Divine Pterygium Powder): True Arca Shell Powder, Sparganium Herb each 1 liang, grind into powder. Take 2 qian each time, use a slice of fresh pig liver (about three finger widths wide), split it open, sprinkle the medicine on it, roll it up, tie it with thread, cook in a bowl of strong rice wash until done. Take out, let cool slightly, chew the cooked liver finely, swallow with rice wash. Can also add Swallow Stone, Areca Seed, grind and insert into the eye for better effect. Avoid roasted, fried, and toxic foods. Treats intraocular pterygium, residual toxins after rash diseases causing eye membrane formation, astringency, and excessive tearing. For pediatric malnutrition eye disease, add Night Soil equal amount.
Formula for treating Nyctalopia (Night Blindness) where one can see early but not late: Cook pig liver thoroughly, mix with Night Soil, make into pills and take. Externally, apply milk from a newborn white dog to the eyes; when the puppy opens its eyes, human vision will be restored.
Nasal insufflation therapy also requires quality materials.
Chubi San (Nasal Insufflation Powder): Realgar, Cinnabar each 2 qian, Asarum 5 qian, Borneol, Musk each a small amount, grind into powder. Let the patient hold water in their mouth, blow a small amount of powder into the nose. Treats redness and swelling difficult to open due to wind-heat.
Dianyan Dihuang Gao (Eye-Dropping Rehmannia Ointment): Raw Rehmannia Root 1 he, Coptis Rhizome 1 liang, Phellodendron Bark, Halloysitum Rubrum each 5 qian. Crush Raw Rehmannia to extract natural juice, mix into cake shape. When using, place paper underneath and apply to the eye. Treats injuries from blunt force trauma, acute redness and swelling due to wind-heat, tearing, etc. All are treated because its nature is cool and can expel heat toxins. For burns or scalds, add Scutellaria Root, Gardenia Fruit, Rheum Palmatum Root equal amounts, grind into powder, mix with wine and apply.
There are many methods for washing eyes:
Wuxing Tang (Five Elements Decoction): For washing acute red eyes and epidemic swelling/pain, use Phellodendron Bark alone ground into powder. Wrap in wet paper, encase in yellow mud, and bake until mud is dry. Take out, use one pellet-sized amount each time, wrap in silk, soak in water, steam over rice until cooked. Fume and wash while hot for extreme efficacy. This formula is processed through the Five Elements, hence the name. One pellet can be used two or three times.
Washing Acute Red Eyes: Angelica Sinensis Radix, Coptis Rhizome each 1 qian, Red Peony Root, Saposhnikovia Root each 5 fen, Apricot Kernel 4 pieces. Use half a cup of water, add a little human breast milk, soak and steam the herbs, clarify, and wash/drop.
Washing Cold Eyes and Those Caused by Cold Damage: Saposhnikovia Root, Schizonepeta Spike, Chrysanthemum Stem/Leaf, Mint, Angelica Sinensis Radix, Dried Ginger a small amount, decoct and wash.
Washing Cold Tearing: Angelica Sinensis Radix, Areca Seed, Aged Mugwort, Schizonepeta Spike, Saposhnikovia Root, Chrysanthemum, Equisetum Hiemale, Chinese Gall, decoct and wash warmly.
Washing Red and Ulcerated Eyes: Angelica Sinensis Radix, Coptis Rhizome, Apricot Kernel, Malachite Green, Purified Mirabilite each 5 fen, grind into powder. Take 3 fen each time, mix with less than half a cup of well water, wash through paper.
Washing Wind-Toxicity Red, Swollen, Itchy, Painful Eyes: Coptis Rhizome, Vitex Fruit, Sophora Root each 5 qian, Chinese Gall 3 qian. Divide into four doses, decoct, clarify, and wash. If heat is severe, add Scutellaria Root, Phellodendron Bark; if wind is severe, add Schizonepeta Spike, Saposhnikovia Root, Mint.
Washing Pterygium Invading the Pupil: Angelica Sinensis Radix Tail, Coptis Rhizome, Schizonepeta Spike, Saposhnikovia Root, Mirabilite, Borax, Mint decoct and wash warmly. Add Equisetum Hiemale for pterygium, Frankincense for pain, Fresh Ginger for insect-like itching.
Washing Protruding Eyes: Use newly drawn cold water to rinse the eyes frequently, changing water often, the eye will naturally retract; still decoct Ophiopogon Tuber, Mulberry Root Bark, Gardenia Fruit in water and drink orally.
Is there no method for dropping eyes?
Chunxue Gao (Spring Snow Ointment): In spring during snow freeze, take 3-4 jin of clean Mirabilite, grind into powder. Mix with Coptis Rhizome, Saposhnikovia Root, Red Peony Root, Angelica Sinensis Radix Tail each 5 qian, Soap Bean 3 slices (all chopped), mix with the powder. Add 3-4 jin of snow, mix evenly into liquid. Leave overnight, filter through silk to remove dregs. Place in a clay pot exposed to the sky to receive frost and dew. The next morning, it forms sand-like crystals. Use another pot, line the bottom with one jin of paper, place the sand on the paper inside the pot, allowing moisture from the sand to seep into the paper. Wait until the sand is dry, store in porcelain, seal tightly. To use, for every 1 liang of Mirabilite Sand, add 5 qian Borax, 1-3 qian Borneol, grind finely and drop into eyes. Add Prunus Persica Seed 5 qian if pterygium exists. Treats red eyes, pterygium, photophobia. Stop application once healed; do not use continuously as it may cause eyelid softening, trichiasis, and entropion.
Treating Pterygium Protrusion: Use Borax 1 qian, Borneol 0.5-1 fen, grind into powder, dip rush stem and apply.
Treating Wind-Eye Continuous Tearing: Use Green Calamine, Cuttlefish Bone equal amounts, grind into powder, add a little Borneol, apply to the inner canthus, tears will stop. Another formula uses White Calamine 8 qian, Borneol 2.5 fen, grind into powder, apply to eyes; or use a small amount, dissolve in warm water, wash frequently, treating all eye diseases.
Guangming Dan (Bright Light Pill): White Calamine 1 liang, Cinnabar 1 qian, Borax 2 qian, Calomel 5 fen, Borneol 3 fen (up to 5 fen), Musk 1 fen. If red eyes swollen and painful, add Frankincense, Myrrh each 5 fen; for internal/external pterygium, add Pearl 5 fen, Chalcanthite, Bear Gall each 2 fen; for marginal blepharitis, add Malachite Green, Litharge each 5 fen. Grind into extremely fine powder separately, adjust temporarily, mix evenly, grind again for 1-2 days, store in porcelain, seal tightly, prevent air leakage. Effective for various eye diseases.
Babao Dan (Eight Treasures Pill): Calamine, Litharge, Raw Alum each 1 liang, Frankincense, Borneol, Musk each 3 qian, Pearl (held in clam shell, bound with iron wire, passed through fire), Cinnabar each 5 qian. Grind all into powder. Use 1.5 liang honey, boil in copper pot to remove foam, filter through silk. First add Cinnabar, Musk, Alum, Litharge, then Borneol, stir evenly. While hot, make pills the size of soybeans, coat with Cinnabar, store in porcelain jar. Harder and better with age. Before use, grind with well water, drop into eyes for miraculous effect.
Ruiren Gao (Prunus Persica Seed Ointment): Clean Prunus Persica Seed 1 liang, Borax 1.2 qian, Borneol 5 fen, Bear Gall 3 qian. Grind into powder, mix with 4 liang raw honey, store in porcelain jar. Drop into eyes, removes pterygium miraculously.
Jinlu Gao (Golden Dew Ointment): Melt 6 liang honey first, add 1 liang Litharge, 4 cups long-flowing water, stir with 6-7 tender willow branches. Then add 1 liang Prunus Persica Seed powder, boil ten times, then add 5 qian Coptis Rhizome powder, stir constantly. Boil down to 0.7-0.8 cup, filter through paper-lined silk, store. Add 1 qian Borax if fleshy growth exists, melt slowly on fire and mix. Removes dimness, reduces pterygium, stops redness, relieves pain.
Lixiao San (Instant Resolution Powder): Small amount of raw white salt, grind into powder. Dip rush stem in salt, gently press floating pterygium to apply. Do this three times, do not feel pain, do not panic. Treats floating pterygium, millet pterygium, foggy membrane obscuring vision, repeatedly effective.
Jiangye Gao (Ginger Juice Ointment): Take a piece of old ginger, insert silver hairpin and immediately pull out, apply to head and tail of eyes. Treats wind itch, cold tearing, marginal blepharitis with worms.
Treating Marginal Blepharitis: Mint, Schizonepeta Spike, Asarum grind into powder. Burn like incense, cover with a bowl coated with a little honey to collect smoke. After smoke is exhausted, store in porcelain jar. Applicable to any eye with wind-heat and excessive tearing.
Mingshang Gao (Bright Upper Ointment): Litharge 4 liang, Borax, Frankincense, Green Salt, Calomel, Borax, Borneol each 2 qian, Musk 5 fen, Gold Star Stone, Silver Star Stone, Well Spring Stone, Mica each 1 liang, Coptis Rhizome, Cuttlefish Bone each 5 qian. Grind separately into powder. First fry Litharge in pot until purple. Add 1 jin white honey, boil until foam dissipates and color becomes purple. Add 3 cups water from the twelfth lunar month, boil twenty more times. Add remaining medicines, boil until drops form beads on fingernail. Lay triple-thick paper on a sieve, pour medicine through paper to filter, store in porcelain jar. Soak in water for 3 days and nights to remove fire toxicity, change water daily. Depending on severity, use chopstick to apply medicine to outer canthus at night until astringency is felt. To treat internal/external cataracts, mix with flour to form a ring, place on eye before sleep, pour medicine inside. Effective within one month. This formula greatly treats chronic and recent cases, internal/external thick obstructions, fleshy growth invading pupil, red/ulcerated eye sockets, astringency, photophobia, discharge with tears, blurred vision, seeing black flowers, wind millet on eyelids, pterygium invading pupil, intermittent itching/pain. For mouth ulcers, apply and heal immediately.
Bofengyun Gao (Dispersing Wind Cloud Ointment): Borax, Pearl, Calcined Amber, Coral, Agate, Calcined Hunsu each 3 qian, Bear Gall, Calcined Swallow Stone quenched in vinegar 3 pieces, Natural Copper, Frankincense, Myrrh, Angelica Sinensis Radix each 2 qian, Calomel, Green Salt, Chalcanthite, Malachite Green, Dragon's Blood, Cuttlefish Bone, Musk, Coptis Rhizome, Scutellaria Root, Phellodendron Bark, White Stork Dropping, Stone Crab, Bovine Calculus each 2 liang, Calamine 0.5 jin, Litharge 4 liang. Grind each separately into powder. Filter 1 jin honey through silk. Put 2 cups water in copper pot, boil until dripping water forms beads. Then add Litharge, stir evenly. Add other medicines, mix evenly, mold into ingots. Spread on oil paper on ground, cover with basin until sweat appears. Next day wrap in bamboo leaf and store. When using, dissolve in well water or pear juice, apply with silver hairpin. Keep eyes closed, lie supine. Do not let tears flow, otherwise medicine will exit with tears and be ineffective. For pterygium/cloudy vision, apply 3 times daily, 3 days on, 3 days off. Once obstruction clears, grind 3厘 Borneol and mix with 0.5 fen ointment, apply once more, vision will return. Avoid beef, mutton, fish, meat, onion, garlic, leek, sexual intercourse, and alcohol. Apply on empty stomach. For Fire Eye, add Borneol; for Pterygium with red veins, add Prunus Persica Seed, Bear Gall equal amount, dissolve previous medicine with water, grind Borneol etc. and add.
Method to Extract Worms: Wash Fenugreek leaves, crush to extract natural juice. Cover eye with soap gauze. Dip brush in juice, draw pupils on gauze. Then drip juice into eye. Worms fine as silk, red in color, will appear on gauze, or apply medicine directly to gauze. Treats marginal blepharitis with wind itch, dark vision, continuous cold tearing. For blindness, dry juice in shade, mix with human breast milk, drop into eye, lie supine, add a little Borneol for best effect. Vision will be like a youth within 3-4 days.
Deafness: Guixiang Xiongzhi (Cinnamon Fragrance and Ligusticum Angelica) can clear spirit and disperse wind;
Guixiang San (Cinnamon Fragrance Powder): Spicy Cinnamon, Ligusticum Chuanxiong Rhizome, Angelica Sinensis Radix, Asarum, Acorus Tatarinowii Rhizome, Costus Root, Akebia Stem, Tribulus Fruit, Ephedra Herb, Licorice Root each 2.5 fen, Pinellia Tuber, Angelica Dahurica Root each 4 fen, Perilla Leaf 1 fen, Scallion 2 stems. Decoct in water and take. Treats wind-deficiency deafness.
Xiongzhi San (Ligusticum Angelica Powder): Angelica Dahurica Root, Acorus Tatarinowii Rhizome, Atractylodes Macrocephala Rhizome, Tangerine Peel, Asarum, Magnolia Bark, Pinellia Tuber, Licorice Root, Akebia Stem, Perilla Leaf, Spicy Cinnamon each 2.5 fen, Ligusticum Chuanxiong Rhizome 1 fen. Decoct with Ginger, Scallion and take. Treats tinnitus due to wind entering ear deficiency.
Qingshen San (Spirit-Clearing Powder): Silkworm 1 liang, Chrysanthemum Flower 1 liang, Schizonepeta Spike, Notopterygium Root, Akebia Stem, Ligusticum Chuanxiong Rhizome, Cyperus Rhizome, Saposhnikovia Root, Acorus Tatarinowii Rhizome, Licorice Root each 3 qian. Grind into powder. Take 3 qian each time, swallow with tea infusion after meals and before bed. Treats qi stagnation blocking upper body, unclear head/eyes, heavy hearing.
Deficiency Deafness: Cishi Yangshen (Magnetite and Lamb Kidney) can tonify kidney and unblock depression.
Cishi Yangshen Wan (Magnetite Lamb Kidney Pill): Magnetite 3 liang, boiled with Scallion White, Akebia Stem each 3 liang for one day and night, take pure powder 2 liang; Ligusticum Chuanxiong Rhizome, Atractylodes Macrocephala Rhizome, Zanthoxylum Bungeanum Pericarpium, Jujube Flesh, Saposhnikovia Root, Poria, Asarum, Yam, Polygala Root, Aconitum Carmichaelii Root, Costus Root, Angelica Sinensis Radix, Deer Antler, Dodder Seed, Phellodendron Bark each 1 liang, Cinnamon Twig 6.5 qian, Prepared Rehmannia Root 2 liang, Acorus Tatarinowii Rhizome 1.5 liang. Grind into powder. Use two pairs of lamb kidneys, remove skin/membrane, boil rotten in wine, mix with wine paste to make pills the size of wu seeds. Buguzhi Wan (Psoralea Pill): Prepared Rehmannia Root, Angelica Sinensis Radix, Ligusticum Chuanxiong Rhizome, Spicy Cinnamon, Dodder Seed, Zanthoxylum Bungeanum Pericarpium, Psoralea Fruit, Tribulus Fruit, Trigonella Foenum-Graecum Seed, Eucommia Bark, Angelica Dahurica Root, Acorus Tatarinowii Rhizome each 2.5 qian, Magnetite 1.25 qian. Grind into powder, make pills with honey the size of wu seeds. Take 50 pills each time, swallow with Scallion White warm wine. Treats exhaustion-induced deafness.
Yishen San (Kidney-Benefiting Powder): Magnetite, Morinda Root, Agarwood, Acorus Tatarinowii Rhizome, Zanthoxylum Bungeanum Pericarpium each 1 liang. Grind into powder. Take 2 qian each time, cut one pig kidney finely, mix with Scallion, Salt, and medicine. Wrap in ten layers of wet paper, bake until cooked. Chew finely on empty stomach with wine. Decoct with Ginger, take warm. Treats wind-heat congestion upward, bilateral ear blockage, external/internal swelling/pain, pus discharge. Dan Nanxing Yin (Single Pinellia Drink): Pinellia Tuber grind into powder. Take 2 qian each time, decoct with 7 Jujubes, small amount of Licorice Root. Take after meals.
