In processing, boil in water for one shichen (two hours), roast until yellow, remove the skin, grind finely, process by water flotation (Shui Fei), and dry in the sun. It is incompatible with Bai Lian (Ampelopsis Radix), Bai Ji (Bletillae Rhizoma), and Fu Zi (Aconiti Lateralis Radix Praeparata).
