肝（气吴萸，血当归） 心（气桂心，血当归） 脾（气吴萸，血当归） 肺（气麻黄，血干姜）
肾（气细辛，血附子） 胆（气生姜，血川芎） 大肠（气白芷，血秦艽） 小肠（气茴香，血玄胡）
三焦（气附子，血川芎） 膀胱（气麻黄，血桂枝） 心胞（气附子，血川芎）
以上诸药，治上、中、下三焦内寒，兼治湿寒之剂。
古庵云∶上五品药性，乃治风、热、湿、燥、寒五气切要之剂。除治风通行外，治热门宜与治燥门兼用，
治湿门宜与治寒门兼用，热燥属阳，寒湿属阴故也。盖瘦人血虚多热燥，肥人气虚多寒湿，仔细分类治之。
古庵云∶疮属热属毒，故治疮多清热解毒药，亦因气逆血滞，又宜行气活血药。其内服药已见前五门下，
此多赘其外敷药而已，又有各门载不尽者，亦附于此。
金银花
金银花即忍冬草，甘温无毒阴疽宝，消渴虚风寒热宁，腹胀血痢叶可捣。
处处有之。其藤左绕附木，名左缠藤。凌冬不凋，又名忍冬草。花有黄白二色，又名金银花。主痈疽
疮肿，止消渴要药也。叶，煮汁酿酒，补虚疗风及寒热身肿腹胀；浓煎服，主热毒、血痢、水痢，兼治五遁飞
尸。去梗，阴干。
夏枯草
夏枯草味苦辛寒，鼠 头疮瘿结团，明目破 除香港脚，能消湿痹又滋肝。
月令云∶靡草死，得金气而生，至夏火盛而死，火克金之义也。无毒，主寒热鼠 、瘰 、头疮，散
瘿结气，破 瘕，除香港脚湿痹。兼治肝虚睛疼、冷泪羞明，入香附子一倍为末，茶清下一钱，效。丹溪云∶
有补养血脉之功，久服轻身长年。四月采，阴干。王瓜为使。
蒲公英
蒲公英草性平甘，专治乳痈疔肿黯，触木恶刺称神疗，化热行滞散结痰。
蒲公用此草治痈肿得效，故名。无毒。主妇人乳痈肿痛，或产后不自乳儿，蓄积乳汁作痈，并水煮汁饮，
外封之立消。一方同忍冬藤，煎浓汤，入酒少许，服罢随手欲睡，是其功也，睡觉乳安。又捣敷疔肿诸疮皆验。
又治手足触木恶刺及狐尿刺肿痛，摘取根茎白汁多涂立瘥。丹溪云∶属土，化热毒，解食毒，散滞气，消恶肿
结核有奇功。可入阳明、太阴经。麦熟时，在处田间路侧皆有之。叶似苦苣有细刺，中心抽一茎，三月茎端开
黄花似菊花，其茎甚脆断之有白汁出。四月五月采，洗净细锉用。
山慈菰
山慈菰是鬼灯檠，花即金灯湿地生，疮肿痈疽瘰 核，毒消万病醋磨曾。
花似灯笼，色白，上有黑点，故名。有小毒。主痈肿疮 、瘰 结核，解诸毒，内入丸散，外用醋磨敷之。
亦剥人面皮，除 。又取茎叶入蜜捣膏，贴疮肿口上，以清血出为效。四月初，挖地采之，迟则腐烂，极与
老鸦蒜相类，但蒜无毛，慈菰上有毛包裹，宜刮去皮焙干。又一种团慈菰，根似小蒜，主治略同。
松脂
松脂苦甘温无毒，风痹恶癞并头秃，清胃伏热润心肺，生津固齿明耳目。
松液流地凝成。主恶风，历节酸痛，风痹死肌，痈疽，恶风癞疮瘙疥，头疡白秃。煎膏贴诸疮 烂，排脓生
肌止痛，抽风杀虫，除胃中伏热，润心肺，生津止渴，固齿，聪耳明目。入滋补药和服，壮阳实阴茎，令人有
子，久服轻身延年。通明者佳。用河水煮化，投冷水内，令两人扯拔，既凝再煮，如此三次，再用酒煮三次，
仍前扯拔，以白如饴糖为度。煎膏药用桃、柳、桑、槐、芙蓉叶煎水煮拔。凡用，入石臼内另捣为末，不可晒
焙，亦不可单服，塞实肠胃。
松子
松子甘芳温无毒，补虚益气滑肌肉，花虽味美热上焦，节主历节筋骨缩，叶治湿风长发毛，根益五劳辟
五谷。
松子，主虚羸少气，补不足，滑肌肤，实肠胃，久服延年。得柏子仁，治老人虚秘。兼治诸风邪气，风痹
寒气。松花，酒服轻身，疗病胜枝叶，但多食能发上焦热病，松黄汤∶松花、蒲黄、川芎、当归、石膏各等分，
红花少许，水煎、细呷。治产后壮热，头痛颊赤，唇焦口渴，烦躁
昏闷。松节，温。主百节久风，风虚脚痹、四肢软弱疼痛或转筋挛痛。丹溪云∶松属金。用其节炒焦，治筋
骨间病，能燥血中之湿也。松叶，味苦、温，无毒。主罨风湿疮、冻疮，生毛发，安五脏，守中不饥，延年，
兼治香港脚风痹，历节风、中风口 ，瘟疾恶疮，并煮汁酿酒服之，效。松根白皮，补五劳，益气，辟谷不饥。
又树皮绿衣，合和诸香烧之其烟团聚，青白可爱。
枫香
枫香脂味苦辛平，瘾疹风痒齿痛轻，皮能止痢并霍乱，又云浮肿可疏行，子甘性热燥痰血，杀虫癞疥用相停。
遇风善摇；香，言其气也。又名白胶香。无毒。主瘾疹风痒，齿痛，浮肿及吐血不止。丹溪云∶属金而有
水与火。性疏通，故木易有虫穴。其脂液为外科要药。凡使，另研。枫皮，味辛、平，涩，小毒。止水痢，霍
乱。消肿，无非疏通，非涩也。大枫子，味甘，性热。主疠风、癞疥、疮癣，杀虫。多服燥痰伤血。入丸药去
壳，纸捶去油，外调疮药带油。
白芨
白芨苦辛平无毒，痈疽疥癣裂皮肉，平胃风痱缓不收，补肺止血治打扑。
及， 也，栏也。叶初生似井栏。阳中阴也。主痈肿恶疮，败疽死肌，除白癣疥虫。嚼涂手足皲裂、痔 、
刀箭汤火等疮，生肌止痛方多用之。平胃中邪气，贼风鬼击，痱缓不收。治久咳，呕血，咯血，肠风血痢。单
用为末，米饮调服。凡被打拷，肺窍控损见血者尤妙，以其能补肺窍也。又衄血不止者，津调涂山根立止。
珍云∶涩肺与白蔹性治大同，兼治结热不消，阴痿面黯，令人肌滑。入丸可少用作糊。水洗紫石英为使，恶理
石，畏李核、杏仁，反乌头。
白蔹
白蔹无毒苦甘平，敛诸疮口故留名，除热目赤杀火毒，女阴肿痛儿痫惊。
主痈疽发背、疔疮、瘰 、痔漏、扑损刀箭汤火等疮，散结止痛生肌。《衍义》云∶白蔹、白芨，古今服
饵方少用，多见于敛疮方中，二物多相而行。又除热目中赤，杀火毒，女子阴中肿痛，下赤白，小儿惊痫，瘟疟。
代赭为使，反乌头。又一种赤蔹，功用与白蔹同，但表里俱赤耳。
五倍子
五倍子平酸苦味，治肺风毒湿癣疮，眼肿牙疳并痔痢，顽痰热渴可煎汤。
因商贩得五倍之利而名。又名文蛤，其内多虫似之。无毒。主肺脏风毒流溢皮肤作风湿癣疮，瘙痒脓水，
小儿面鼻疳疮；末敷口疮，立进饮食；或风毒上攻；眼赤肿痛涩痒，上下睑烂，浮翳 肉侵睛，内服外洗；疗
齿宣疳 ，五痔肠风下血，泻痢。丹溪云∶属金与水。含口中善收顽痰，解诸热毒，生津液，收敛之妙剂也。
蜀中者佳，去虫。汤药生用，丸药略炒。染须炒至烟起，以浓茶泼之，再炒至烟净，用青布包，以脚踏石压干
为末。单方∶治小儿吐不定，五倍子二个，一生一熟，甘草一寸炙，为末，米泔下二钱。立止。
无名异
无名异甘平无毒，主治金疮理折伤，内损生肌止疼痛，更消痈肿治诸疮。
广州黑褐者良，状如黑石炭，嚼之如饧，言无可名其异也。主金疮折伤内损，止痛生肌，消肿毒痈肿，
醋摩敷之，另研。
赤石脂
赤石脂甘酸且温，生肌敛口疮无痕，固肠胃又涩精血，下胎衣为入心源。白者性味俱相似，青黄黑各应脏
论。
赤以色言，脂乃石之膏粘也，无毒。降也，阳中之阴也。敷痈疽、疮疖、痔 ，排脓止痛，生肌敛口，固
肠胃，疗腹痛泄 、寒滑疳泻、下痢赤白、涩精益精，止小便利及淋沥。又止吐血、衄血及女子崩中漏下，难
产胞衣不下。经云∶涩可去脱。石脂为收敛涩剂，而又能催生
下胞衣者，何也？盖赤脂入丙，白脂入庚故也。所以赤者主养心气，镇惊悸。凡使，色理鲜腻粘舌者佳。火
通赤，放冷细研，水飞三次。晒干。恶大黄，畏芫花。白石脂，味甘、酸，平，无毒，主养肺。青石脂，味酸，
平，无毒，主养肝胆气。黄石脂，味苦，平，无毒，主养脾气。黑石脂，味咸，平，无毒，主养肾气，强阴。
《图经》云∶五色石脂，主治并同，后人分之，今惟用赤白二种，余不复识，制法同上。曾青、燕屎为使。恶
松脂、细辛。畏黄芩、黄连、甘草。得浓朴并米饮，止便脓。
青礞石
青礞石疗痰火疮，能消食积滞脏腑，小儿羸瘦妇人 ，攻刺腹心作痛苦。
其石青青朦朦，味淡，无毒，性好沉坠，得焰硝能利湿热痰积从大肠而出。因湿热盛而皮肤生疮者，
一利即愈。得巴豆、大黄、三棱等剂，治食积不消，留滞在脏腑，结成 块，经久不瘥。兼治小儿食积羸瘦，
妇人积年食 ，攻刺腹心。入盐泥固济罐内，火 一日，细研。
凝水石
凝水石寒甘辛味，火烧丹毒醋调敷，解胃伏热及身热，时行烦渴立消除。
又名寒水石。出常山，色白，有纵理者，有横理者，投水中，与水同色凝动者佳。大寒，无毒。治小儿
丹毒，火烧为末，醋调敷之。能解胃中及五脏伏热，身热皮中如火，时行烦渴，伤寒劳复发热。兼荡腹中积聚
邪气，水肿小腹痹，压丹石毒。火 七次，水飞。雷公以生姜汁煮干，研用。畏地榆，解巴豆毒。
狗脊
狗脊草苦甘微温，断诸疮血治痹顽，强膂坚脊利腰脚，失溺伤中补肾元。
形如狗脊，黄毛者佳，名金毛狗脊。无毒。能止诸疮血出，治周痹寒湿，膝痛脚软，腰背强痛。此药能利机
关，坚筋骨，颇利老人。疗失溺不节，伤中肾虚，亦补益之剂也。恒山者胜。火燎去毛，细锉酒拌，蒸半日，
晒干。萆 为使，恶败酱。
蛇床子
蛇床子平甘苦辛，疥癣阴痒及遍身，暖宫壮阳令有子，治痹通关逐瘀湮。
蛇常栖息此草上，故名之。无毒。治恶疮，湿癣，阴痒，大风身痒，煎汤浴之，或捣末猪脂调涂。治妇人
阴中肿痛，赤白带下，一切子宫冷症；男子阴痿，大益阳事，缩小便，令人有子。又治诸湿痹毒、腰胯疼痛、
四肢顽麻，通关节，逐扑损瘀血。兼治颠痫，风冷齿痛。温中下气，久服轻身悦颜。入洗汤生用，入丸、散用
布包。挪去皮壳，取净仁微妙。恶牡丹、巴豆、贝母。
伏龙肝
伏龙肝味气辛温，消痈散肿醋涂痕，止诸血下咳逆气，时疫胎产水调吞。
伏龙，灶神也。历家云∶伏龙日，忌作灶。《容斋随笔》云∶以猪肝和泥作灶。立名之意本于此。微毒。主
消痈疽肿毒、发背乳痈、丹毒，鸡子黄或醋调涂之。腋臭，小儿脐疮，干末敷之。止咳逆上气，吐血衄血，肠
风尿血，泄精及妇人崩带，有孕时疫热病令胎不安，水和涂脐中，内又服之。催生下衣，小儿夜啼，大人中风不
语，心烦恍惚，手足不随或腹中痛满，冷水搅汁服之。雷公云∶是十年已来灶额内火气自然结积，如赤色石，
中黄有八棱。凡使，火 、水飞两遍，令干。自陶隐居以为灶心土，其实雷之说有理，当从之。
铛下墨
铛下墨即釜底煤，金疮生肌止血来，吐红血晕恶心痛，妇人难产亦能催。百草霜治热毒疮，消积止泻亦奇哉。
无毒。解诸疮毒。涂金疮，生肌止血，如疮在面，慎勿涂之，黑入肉如印。止诸血及吐血，血晕，单用细
研，酒调或水调，温服。兼治中恶心痛，妇人逆产及霍乱转筋，鼻气壅塞不通。又治舌卒肿如猪脬，满口即死，
以酒调涂舌下
立瘥。百草霜，即额上墨，又名灶突墨。无毒。治小儿头疮及热毒疮，消积化滞下食，止暴泻痢，妇人虚损，
月候不调，崩中漏下，横生逆产，瘦胎胞衣不下。《局方》误以铛墨为百草霜，所指虽与经殊，而功用大同，
惟黑奴丸两用之。
龙骨
龙骨味甘平无毒，敛口专消肠内痈，止精血汗安心志，燥湿除 医痢脓。齿攻结气及颠痫，角治中坚螈 风。
生晋地川谷及太山岩，水岸土穴中，死龙处得之。李肇《国史》云∶春水时鱼登龙门蜕其骨也。主肠痈
内疽，阴蚀及诸疮久不敛口，少用最妙。小儿脐疮不瘥，研末敷之。治遗精白浊，缩小便，止吐、衄、尿血、
肠风下血、盗汗、女人崩漏胎漏。安心志，定魂魄，夜卧多梦纷纭者加用之。成无己云∶龙骨、黄丹、牡蛎皆
收敛神气以镇惊。雷公云∶龙骨气入肾脏，又能燥湿破 ，止泄痢脓血、老疟。兼治咳逆，心腹鬼疰精魅，小
儿热气惊痫。凡使，得脊脑作白地锦文，舐之着舌者佳，青白者次，黑者下。火 细研，或酒煮，焙干用。
畏石膏、理石、干漆、蜀椒，得人参；牛黄良。抑论龙骨涩药，去脱固肠而又破 坚，何也？盖质虽枯涩，而
味甘缓血，即如轻粉性寒利肠，质燥又敛肛门。噫！涩药能通，山茱萸、赤石脂之类；通药能止，香附、巴豆
之类。犹之天门冬寒而补，浓朴热而泻，此药性之所以难识，而用熟者得之。齿，平，味涩，无毒。主心下结
气不得喘息，惊痫，癫狂，诸 ，骨间寒热。镇心安魂，治小儿五惊十二痫，身热不可近。兼杀鬼精蛊毒。
角，平。主惊痫，螈 ，身热如火，腹中坚及热泄。
乌贼骨
乌贼骨温燥脓汁，阴痈耳聋目翳泣，止痢杀虫心腹疼，消肿更治崩漏急，通经破癖令生儿，肉味酸平志气立。
肝（气分用吴茱萸，血分用当归） 心（气分用桂心，血分用当归） 脾（气分用吴茱萸，血分用当归） 肺（气分用麻黄，血分用干姜）
肾（气分用细辛，血分用附子） 胆（气分用生姜，血分用川芎） 大肠（气分用白芷，血分用秦艽） 小肠（气分用小茴香，血分用延胡索）
三焦（气分用附子，血分用川芎） 膀胱（气分用麻黄，血分用桂枝） 心包（气分用附子，血分用川芎）
以上这些药物，用于治疗上、中、下三焦的内寒证，兼治湿寒的方剂。
古庵说：上述五种品级的药性，是治疗风、热、湿、燥、寒五气致病的关键方剂。除了治疗风邪需通行经络外，治疗热证门宜与治燥门兼用，
治疗湿证门宜与治寒门兼用，因为热和燥属于阳，寒和湿属于阴的缘故。大概瘦人血虚多患热燥证，肥人气虚多患寒湿证，需仔细分类治疗。
古庵说：疮疡属于热毒，所以治疗疮疡多用清热解毒药；又因气逆血滞，也适宜使用行气活血药。其内服药物已见前五门下，
这里主要补充其外敷药物而已，又有各门记载不全的，也附在此处。
金银花
金银花即忍冬草，味甘性温无毒，是治疗阴疽的宝物，能消除消渴虚火及风寒引起的寒热，腹胀和血痢可用其叶捣汁服用。
到处都有生长。它的藤向左缠绕依附树木，名叫左缠藤。经历冬天不凋谢，又名忍冬草。花有黄白两种颜色，又名金银花。主治痈疽
疮肿，是止消渴的要药。叶，煮汁酿酒，可补虚疗风及寒热身肿腹胀；浓煎服用，主治热毒、血痢、水痢，兼治五遁飞尸。去梗，阴干。
夏枯草
夏枯草味苦、辛，性寒，主治鼠瘘头疮、瘿瘤结团，明目破瘀除香港脚，能消除湿痹又滋养肝脏。
《月令》说：靡草死，得金气而生，到夏天火盛而死，这是火克金的道理。无毒，主治寒热鼠瘘、瘰疬、头疮，散
瘿结气，破癥瘕，除香港脚湿痹。兼治肝虚眼睛疼痛、冷泪羞明，加入一倍量的香附子研为末，茶清送服一钱，有效。丹溪说：
有补养血脉的功效，久服轻身延年。四月采集，阴干。以王瓜为使药。
蒲公英
蒲公英草性平甘，专治乳痈疔肿黯黑，触碰树木恶刺称为神效疗法，能化解热毒行滞散结痰。
蒲公用此草治疗痈肿得效，因此得名。无毒。主治妇人乳痈肿痛，或产后不自喂婴儿，蓄积乳汁形成痈肿，并用水煮汁饮用，
外用封贴立即消散。另一法同忍冬藤一起，煎浓汤，加入少许酒，服完随即想睡，这就是它的功效，醒来乳房安宁。又捣烂敷于疔肿诸疮都有效。
又治手足触木恶刺及狐尿刺肿痛，摘取根茎白色汁液多涂患处立即痊愈。丹溪说：属土，化解毒热，解食毒，散滞气，消除恶肿

为末。单方∶治小儿吐不定，五倍子二个，一生一熟，甘草一寸炙，为末，米泔下二钱。立止。
无名异
无名异甘平无毒，主治金疮理折伤，内损生肌止疼痛，更消痈肿治诸疮。
广州黑褐者良，状如黑石炭，嚼之如饧，言无可名其异也。主金疮折伤内损，止痛生肌，消肿毒痈肿，
醋摩敷之，另研。
赤石脂
赤石脂甘酸且温，生肌敛口疮无痕，固肠胃又涩精血，下胎衣为入心源。白者性味俱相似，青黄黑各应脏
论。
赤以色言，脂乃石之膏粘也，无毒。降也，阳中之阴也。敷痈疽、疮疖、痔 ，排脓止痛，生肌敛口，固
肠胃，疗腹痛泄 、寒滑疳泻、下痢赤白、涩精益精，止小便利及淋沥。又止吐血、衄血及女子崩中漏下，难
产胞衣不下。经云∶涩可去脱。石脂为收敛涩剂，而又能催生
下胞衣者，何也？盖赤脂入丙，白脂入庚故也。所以赤者主养心气，镇惊悸。凡使，色理鲜腻粘舌者佳。火
通赤，放冷细研，水飞三次。晒干。恶大黄，畏芫花。白石脂，味甘、酸，平，无毒，主养肺。青石脂，味酸，
平，无毒，主养肝胆气。黄石脂，味苦，平，无毒，主养脾气。黑石脂，味咸，平，无毒，主养肾气，强阴。
《图经》云∶五色石脂，主治并同，后人分之，今惟用赤白二种，余不复识，制法同上。曾青、燕屎为使。恶
松脂、细辛。畏黄芩、黄连、甘草。得浓朴并米饮，止便脓。
青礞石
青礞石疗痰火疮，能消食积滞脏腑，小儿羸瘦妇人 ，攻刺腹心作痛苦。
其石青青朦朦，味淡，无毒，性好沉坠，得焰硝能利湿热痰积从大肠而出。因湿热盛而皮肤生疮者，
一利即愈。得巴豆、大黄、三棱等剂，治食积不消，留滞在脏腑，结成 块，经久不瘥。兼治小儿食积羸瘦，
妇人积年食 ，攻刺腹心。入盐泥固济罐内，火 一日，细研。
凝水石
凝水石寒甘辛味，火烧丹毒醋调敷，解胃伏热及身热，时行烦渴立消除。
又名寒水石。出常山，色白，有纵理者，有横理者，投水中，与水同色凝动者佳。大寒，无毒。治小儿
丹毒，火烧为末，醋调敷之。能解胃中及五脏伏热，身热皮中如火，时行烦渴，伤寒劳复发热。兼荡腹中积聚
邪气，水肿小腹痹，压丹石毒。火 七次，水飞。雷公以生姜汁煮干，研用。畏地榆，解巴豆毒。
狗脊
狗脊草苦甘微温，断诸疮血治痹顽，强膂坚脊利腰脚，失溺伤中补肾元。
形如狗脊，黄毛者佳，名金毛狗脊。无毒。能止诸疮血出，治周痹寒湿，膝痛脚软，腰背强痛。此药能利机
关，坚筋骨，颇利老人。疗失溺不节，伤中肾虚，亦补益之剂也。恒山者胜。火燎去毛，细锉酒拌，蒸半日，
晒干。萆薢为使，恶败酱。
蛇床子
蛇床子平甘苦辛，疥癣阴痒及遍身，暖宫壮阳令有子，治痹通关逐瘀湮。
蛇常栖息此草上，故名之。无毒。治恶疮，湿癣，阴痒，大风身痒，煎汤浴之，或捣末猪脂调涂。治妇人
阴中肿痛，赤白带下，一切子宫冷症；男子阴痿，大益阳事，缩小便，令人有子。又治诸湿痹毒、腰胯疼痛、
四肢顽麻，通关节，逐扑损瘀血。兼治颠痫，风冷齿痛。温中下气，久服轻身悦颜。入洗汤生用，入丸、散用
布包。挪去皮壳，取净仁微妙。恶牡丹、巴豆、贝母。
伏龙肝
伏龙肝味气辛温，消痈散肿醋涂痕，止诸血下咳逆气，时疫胎产水调吞。
伏龙，灶神也。历家云∶伏龙日，忌作灶。《容斋随笔》云∶以猪肝和泥作灶。立名之意本于此。微毒。主
消痈疽肿毒、发背乳痈、丹毒，鸡子黄或醋调涂之。腋臭，小儿脐疮，干末敷之。止咳逆上气，吐血衄血，肠
风尿血，泄精及妇人崩带，有孕时疫热病令胎不安，水和涂脐中，内又服之。催生下衣，小儿夜啼，大人中风不
语，心烦恍惚，手足不随或腹中痛满，冷水搅汁服之。雷公云∶是十年已来灶额内火气自然结积，如赤色石，
中黄有八棱。凡使，火 水飞两遍，令干。自陶隐居以为灶心土，其实雷之说有理，当从之。
铛下墨
铛下墨即釜底煤，金疮生肌止血来，吐红血晕恶心痛，妇人难产亦能催。百草霜治热毒疮，消积止泻亦奇哉。
无毒。解诸疮毒。涂金疮，生肌止血，如疮在面，慎勿涂之，黑入肉如印。止诸血及吐血，血晕，单用细
研，酒调或水调，温服。兼治中恶心痛，妇人逆产及霍乱转筋，鼻气壅塞不通。又治舌卒肿如猪脬，满口即死，
以酒调涂舌下
立瘥。百草霜，即额上墨，又名灶突墨。无毒。治小儿头疮及热毒疮，消积化滞下食，止暴泻痢，妇人虚损，
月候不调，崩中漏下，横生逆产，瘦胎胞衣不下。《局方》误以铛墨为百草霜，所指虽与经殊，而功用大同，
惟黑奴丸两用之。
龙骨
龙骨味甘平无毒，敛口专消肠内痈，止精血汗安心志，燥湿除 医痢脓。齿攻结气及颠痫，角治中坚螈 风。
生晋地川谷及太山岩，水岸土穴中，死龙处得之。李肇《国史》云∶春水时鱼登龙门蜕其骨也。主肠痈
内疽，阴蚀及诸疮久不敛口，少用最妙。小儿脐疮不瘥，研末敷之。治遗精白浊，缩小便，止吐、衄、尿血、
肠风下血、盗汗、女人崩漏胎漏。安心志，定魂魄，夜卧多梦纷纭者加用之。成无己云∶龙骨、黄丹、牡蛎皆
收敛神气以镇惊。雷公云∶龙骨气入肾脏，又能燥湿破 ，止泄痢脓血、老疟。兼治咳逆，心腹鬼疰精魅，小
儿热气惊痫。凡使，得脊脑作白地锦文，舐之着舌者佳，青白者次，黑者下。火 细研，或酒煮，焙干用。
畏石膏、理石、干漆、蜀椒，得人参；牛黄良。抑论龙骨涩药，去脱固肠而又破 坚，何也？盖质虽枯涩，而
味甘缓血，即如轻粉性寒利肠，质燥又敛肛门。噫！涩药能通，山茱萸、赤石脂之类；通药能止，香附、巴豆
之类。犹之天门冬寒而补，浓朴热而泻，此药性之所以难识，而用熟者得之。齿，平，味涩，无毒。主心下结
气不得喘息，惊痫，癫狂，诸 ，骨间寒热。镇心安魂，治小儿五惊十二痫，身热不可近。兼杀鬼精蛊毒。
角，平。主惊痫，螈 ，身热如火，腹中坚及热泄。
乌贼骨
乌贼骨温燥脓汁，阴痈耳聋目翳泣，止痢杀虫心腹疼，消肿更治崩漏急，通经破癖令生儿，肉味酸平志气立。

The above-mentioned herbs are used to treat internal cold in the Upper, Middle, and Lower Sanjiao/Triple Burner, and also serve as formulas for treating damp-cold.
Gu An stated: The properties of the aforementioned five categories of herbs are essential formulas for treating pathogenic factors of wind, heat, dampness, dryness, and cold. Apart from treating wind which requires unblocking meridians, treating heat syndromes should be combined with treating dryness syndromes, and treating dampness syndromes should be combined with treating cold syndromes, because heat and dryness belong to Yang, while cold and dampness belong to Yin. Generally, thin individuals with blood deficiency tend to suffer from heat-dryness, while obese individuals with Qi deficiency tend to suffer from cold-dampness; they must be treated carefully according to classification.
Gu An stated: Sores and ulcers belong to heat and toxicity, so treatments often employ herbs that clear heat and resolve toxicity; furthermore, due to reversed Qi flow and stagnant blood, herbs that promote Qi circulation and invigorate blood are also suitable. Internal medications have been seen in the previous five sections; here, external application medications are mainly supplemented. Those not fully recorded in other sections are also attached here.
Jinyinhua (Lonicerae Japonicae Flos)
Jinyinhua is Ren Dong Cao (Lonicerae Japonicae Caulis), sweet and warm, non-toxic, a treasure for treating yin abscesses, calms thirst, deficiency, wind-cold, and alternating fever; abdominal distension and bloody dysentery can be treated by crushing its leaves.
It grows everywhere. Its vine winds left around trees, named Zuochan Teng. It does not wither in winter, also known as Rendong Cao. The flowers are yellow and white, also known as Jinyinhua. It mainly treats carbuncles, sores, swellings, and is an essential herb for stopping thirst. Leaves, boiled for wine, tonify deficiency, treat wind, and calm alternating fever, body swelling, and abdominal distension; decocted strongly and taken, it treats heat toxicity, bloody dysentery, watery dysentery, and also treats Wudun Feishi (five types of wandering corpse qi). Remove stems, dry in shade.
Xiakucao (Prunellae Spica)
Xiakucao is bitter, pungent, and cold, treats rat scrofula, head sores, and goiter nodules, brightens eyes, breaks stasis, removes Hong Kong foot (podagra), eliminates damp bi syndrome, and nourishes the liver.
The Monthly Ordinances state: Mi Cao dies, born from Metal Qi, dies when Summer Fire is abundant, meaning Fire overcomes Metal. Non-toxic, treats alternating fever, rat scrofula, luoli (scrofula), head sores, dissipates goiter qi, breaks zhijia (masses), removes Hong Kong foot damp-bi. Also treats liver deficiency eye pain, cold tears, photophobia. Add one part Xiangfu Zi (Cyperi Rhizoma) powder, take one qian with clear tea water, effective. Danxi said: It has the merit of nourishing blood vessels; long-term use lightens the body and prolongs life. Harvest in April, dry in shade. Wanggua (Trichosanthes Cucumerina Radix) is the guiding herb.
Pugongying (Taraxaci Herba)
Pugongying grass is neutral and sweet, specifically treats breast abscesses, carbuncles, and dark sores; touching wood bad thorns is called a divine cure, resolves heat, moves stagnation, dissipates nodules, and transforms phlegm.
Pu Gong used this herb to treat sores effectively, hence the name. Non-toxic. Treats women's breast abscesses and swelling/pain, or postpartum failure to nurse, accumulated milk forming abscesses; boil in water, drink juice, apply externally to dissipate immediately. Another method: decoct with Rendong Teng (Lonicerae Japonicae Caulis) into a strong soup, add a little wine, sleep follows consumption, indicating its efficacy, breasts settle upon waking. Also crush and apply to carbuncles and various sores, all verified. Also treats hands/feet touched by wood bad thorns and fox urine thorn swelling/pain, pick roots/stems, apply abundant white juice, heals immediately. Danxi said: Belongs to Earth, resolves heat toxicity, solves food toxicity, disperses stagnant Qi, eliminates malignant swelling and tubercles with miraculous merit. Can enter Yangming and Taiyin meridians. At wheat harvest time, found everywhere in fields and roadsides. Leaves resemble Kujü (Sonchus oleraceus) with fine spines, center shoots one stem, March stem ends open yellow flowers resembling chrysanthemum, stem is very brittle, breaks with white juice. Harvest April-May, wash clean, cut finely for use.
Shancigu (Cremastrae Pseudobulbus)
Shancigu is Guidengqing, flower is Jindeng growing in wetlands, sores swellings carbuncles luoli nodes, toxins resolved ten thousand diseases vinegar ground once.
Flower resembles lantern, white color, with black spots on top, hence the name. Slightly toxic. Treats sores swellings, carbuncles, luoli, tubercles, resolves various toxins, internally into pills/powders, externally ground with vinegar for application. Also peels human facial skin, removes scars. Also take stems/leaves, mix with honey, crush into paste, apply on sore/swelling opening, effect indicated by clear blood discharge. Early April, dig ground to harvest, late leads to rotting, extremely similar to Laoya Suan (Allium victorialis var. platyphyllum), but garlic has no hair, Cigu has hair wrapping, should scrape skin and roast dry. Another type Tuancigu, root resembles small garlic, main treatment slightly same.
Songzhi (Pini Resina)
Songzhi is bitter, sweet, warm, non-toxic, wind-bi, malignant leprosy and baldness, clears stomach latent heat, moistens heart/lungs, generates fluids, strengthens teeth, brightens ears/eyes.
Pine sap flows to ground and solidifies. Treats aversion to wind, joint pain, wind-bi dead muscle, carbuncles, malignant wind leprosy sores/scabies, scalp baldness. Decoct into paste, apply to various ulcerated sores, expel pus, generate flesh, stop pain, draw out wind, kill parasites, remove stomach latent heat, moisten heart/lungs, generate fluids, stop thirst, strengthen teeth, benefit ears/eyes. Mix with tonifying medicines and take, strengthens yang, solidifies penis, enables having children, long-term use lightens body and prolongs life. Transparent ones are best. Boil in river water, throw into cold water, let two people pull/stretch, solidify then boil again, do this three times, then boil in wine three times, still pull/stretch before, until white like malt sugar. For decocting paste, use Peach, Willow, Mulberry, Locust, Hibiscus leaves to boil water and pull/stretch. Whenever using, put into stone mortar, grind separately into powder, do not sun-roast, nor take alone, clogs intestines/stomach.
Songzi (Pini Semen)
Songzi is sweet, fragrant, warm, non-toxic, tonifies deficiency, benefits Qi, lubricates muscles/flesh, flower though tasty heats upper jiao, node mainly treats joint/bone contraction, leaf treats damp-wind promotes hair growth, root benefits five labors repels grain fasting.
Songzi, treats emaciation and shortness of breath, tonifies insufficiency, lubricates skin/flesh, solidifies intestines/stomach, long-term use prolongs life. With Baizi Ren (Platycladi Semen), treats elderly deficiency constipation. Also treats various wind-pathogenic factors, wind-bi cold qi. Songhua (Pini Pollen), taken with wine lightens body, treats illness better than branches/leaves, but excessive intake can trigger upper jiao heat disease. Songhuang Tang: Songhua, Puhuang (Typhae Pollen), Chuanxiong, Danggui, Shigao each equal parts, slight Honghua, decoct in water, sip slowly. Treats postpartum severe fever, headache red cheeks, dry lips/thirst, irritability drowsiness. Songjie (Pinus Node), warm. Treats long-standing wind in hundred joints, wind-deficiency foot-bi, four limbs weakness pain or twitching/spasm. Danxi said: Pine belongs to Metal. Use its node roasted scorched, treats bone/joint diseases, can dry dampness in blood. Songye (Pini Folium), bitter, warm, non-toxic. Treats covering damp-wind sores, frostbite, generates hair, calms five zang organs, maintains middle not hungry, prolongs life, also treats Hong Kong foot wind-bi, lijie wind, stroke mouth deviation, epidemic malignant sores, all boil juice make wine take, effective. Songgen Bapi (Pinus Cortex), tonifies five labors, benefits Qi, repels grain fasting not hungry. Also bark green layer, mix various incense burn, smoke gathers, blue-white lovely.
Fengxiang (Liquidambaris Resina)
Fengxiang Zhi is bitter, pungent, neutral, urticaria wind-itch toothache light, bark can stop dysentery and cholera, also says edema can disperse move, seed sweet nature hot dries phlegm blood, kills parasites leprosy scabies use balanced.
Shakes well in wind; fragrance refers to its qi. Also known as Baijiao Xiang. Non-toxic. Treats urticaria wind-itch, toothache, edema and continuous hematemesis. Danxi said: Belongs to Metal yet has Water and Fire. Nature is unblocking/dispersing, thus wood easily has insect holes. Its resinous fluid is a key surgical herb. Whenever using, grind separately. Fengpi (Liquidambaris Cortex), pungent, neutral, astringent, slightly toxic. Stops watery dysentery, cholera. Reduces swelling, nothing but unblocking/dispersing, not astringent. Dafengzi (Bischofiae Fructus), sweet, hot. Treats leprosy, scabies, sores/tinea, kills parasites. Excessive intake dries phlegm damages blood. Into pill medicine remove shell, paper pound remove oil, externally mix sore medicine with oil.
Baiji (Bletillae Rhizoma)
Baiji is bitter, pungent, neutral, non-toxic, carbuncles scabies tinea cracked skin/flesh,平和 stomach wind-fei flaccid unrecovered, tonifies lung stops blood treats blows/bruises.
Ji, ye, lan ye. Leaves initially resemble well railing. Yang within Yin. Treats sores swellings malignant sores, decaying gangrene dead muscle, removes white tinea scabies worms. Chew and apply to hand/foot fissures, hemorrhoids, knife/arrow boiling fire etc. sores, generates flesh stops pain, formulas often use it. Calms evil qi in stomach, thief wind ghost strike, fei flaccid unrecovered. Treats chronic cough, vomiting blood, expectorating blood, intestinal wind bloody dysentery. Use alone as powder, adjust with rice drink to take. Whenever beaten/scourged, lung orifice damaged seeing blood especially wonderful, because it can tonify lung orifice. Also nosebleed not stopping, saliva adjust apply to shangen (root of nose) stops immediately. Zhen said: Astringent lung and Bailian nature treatment largely same, also treats consolidated heat not resolving, impotence dark face, makes skin smooth. Into pills can use little as paste. Wash water Quartz Purple (Zi Shiy ing) is guiding herb, dislikes Lizhi, fears plum kernel/almond, opposes Aconitum.
Bailian (Ampelopsis Radix)
Bailian non-toxic bitter sweet neutral, contracts various sore mouths therefore keeps name, removes heat eye red kills fire toxicity, female yin swelling pain child epilepsy惊.
Treats carbuncles back-sores, ding sores, luoli, hemorrhoid fistula, blows/bruises knife/arrow boiling fire etc. sores, dissipates nodules stops pain generates flesh. "Yanyi" said: Bailian, Baiji, ancient/modern ingestion formulas rarely use, mostly seen in contracting sore formulas, these two substances often act together. Also removes heat eye red, kills fire toxicity, women's yin swelling pain, discharge red/white, child epilepsy, epidemic malaria. Daizhe Shi (Hematitum) is guiding herb, opposes Aconitum. Another type Chi Lian, function same as Bailian, only surface/internal both red.
Wubeizi (Galla Chinensis)
Wubeizi neutral sour bitter taste, treats lung wind toxin wet tinea sores, eye swelling tooth gan and hemorrhoid dysentery, stubborn phlegm heat thirst can decoct soup.
Named because merchants get five times profit. Also known as Wen Ge, inside many insects resemble it. Non-toxic. Treats lung organ wind toxin overflowing skin as wind-tinea sores, itching pus/water, child face/nose gan sores; powder apply mouth sores, immediately advance diet; or wind toxin attacks upward; eye red swollen painful涩 itch, upper/lower eyelids rotten, floating pterygium fleshy invading eyeball, internal take external wash; treat tooth protrusion gan, five hemorrhoids intestinal wind lower blood, diarrhea/dysentery. Danxi said: Belongs to Metal and Water. Hold in mouth good at collecting stubborn phlegm, resolves various heat toxins, generates fluid, astringent wonderful agent. Sichuan area best, remove insects. Soup medicine raw use, pill medicine slight roast. Dye beard roast until smoke rises, pour strong tea on it, roast again until smoke clean, use green cloth wrap, step on stone press dry into powder. Single formula: Treats child vomiting uncertain, two Wubeizi, one raw one cooked, one cun Licorice roasted, into powder, rice water down two qian. Stops immediately.
Wumingyi (Cuprum Viride)
Wumingyi sweet neutral non-toxic, mainly treats metal wounds manages fractures, internal damage generates flesh stops pain, further resolves sores treats various sores.
Guangzhou black-brown ones are good, shape like black charcoal, chew like malt sugar, say cannot name its difference. Treats metal wounds fractures internal damage, stops pain generates flesh, reduces swelling toxin sores, rub with vinegar apply, grind separately.
Chishizhi (Halloysit Rubrum)
Chishizhi sweet sour and warm, generates flesh contracts sore mouth no scar, solidifies intestines/stomach also astringes essence/blood, delivers placenta enters heart source. White ones nature taste all similar, green/yellow/black each correspond to zang theory.
Red refers to color, fat is stone paste sticky, non-toxic. Descending, Yin within Yang. Apply carbuncles, boils, hemorrhoids, expel pus stop pain, generate flesh contract mouth, solidify intestines/stomach, treat abdominal pain diarrhea, cold-slip gan diarrhea, dysentery red/white, astringe essence, stop frequent urination and dribbling. Also stops hematemesis, epistaxis and women metrorrhagia/metrostaxis, difficult labor placenta retention. Classics say: Astringent can remove prolapse. Stone fat is astringent agent, yet can induce labor deliver placenta, why? Because red fat enters Bing (Fire), white fat enters Geng (Metal). Thus red mainly nourishes heart Qi, calms palpitations. Whenever using, color texture fresh greasy sticking tongue is best. Fire pass red, cool grind fine, water fly three times. Sun dry. Dislikes Rhubarb, fears Genkwa. Bai Shizhi (Halloysit Albus), sweet, sour, neutral, non-toxic, mainly nourishes lung. Qing Shizhi (Halloysit Viridis), sour, neutral, non-toxic, mainly nourishes liver/gallbladder Qi. Huang Shizhi (Halloysit Flavum), bitter, neutral, non-toxic, mainly nourishes spleen Qi. Hei Shizhi (Halloysit Nigrum), salty, neutral, non-toxic, mainly nourishes kidney Qi, strengthens yin. "Tujing" said: Five-color stone fats, main treatments all same, later generations divided them, now only use red/white two types, rest no longer recognized, preparation methods same above. Cengqing (Azurite), Swallow droppings are guiding herbs. Dislikes Pine resin, Asarum. Fears Scutellaria, Coptis, Licorice. Obtains Magnolia bark and rice drink, stops stool pus.
Qingmengshi (Calaminthae Lapis)
Qingmengshi treats phlegm-fire sores, can digest food accumulation stagnate viscera, child emaciated woman , attack pierce abdomen heart make pain.
Its stone green-green hazy, taste bland, non-toxic, nature good sinking heavy, obtains Alum can drain damp-heat phlegm accumulation from large intestine out. Because damp-heat abundant and skin generates sores, one drain then heals. Obtains Croton, Rhubarb, Spatholobus etc. formulas, treat food accumulation not digesting, remaining stagnate in viscera, form mass, long time not heal. Also treat child food accumulation emaciated, woman accumulated years food , attack pierce abdomen heart. Enter salt mud seal pot inside, fire one day, grind fine.
