加丹皮、麦冬、玉竹、山药、茯苓，退虚热至效。
大熟地（四钱） 山萸（去核） 山药（各二钱） 丹皮 茯苓 泽泻（各一钱五分） 肉桂 五味（各五分）
水煎服。
本方去五味，加附子，名八味肾气汤。
治喉闭、缠喉风，痰涎壅塞，口噤不开，汤水难下。

各另研为末，和匀。以竹筒吹患处，痰涎即出。如痰虽出，肿痛仍不消，急针患处，去
治喉疮，并口舌生疮，走马牙疳，咽喉肿痛诸症。

共为细末。吹喉极效。

牙硝（三钱） 硼砂（三钱） 雄黄（二钱） 冰片（一分五厘） 麝香（五厘
共为末。每用少许擦牙。

治疗喉疮，以及口舌生疮，走马牙疳，咽喉肿痛诸症。
真青黛、蒲黄（炒）、黄柏（炒）、人中白（各一两）、冰片（五分）、硼砂（五钱），共研为细末。吹喉极效。

Ren Shen (Ginseng Radix), Bai Zhu (Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma), Fu Ling (Poria), Gan Cao (Licorice Radix, prepared with honey, each 1 qian), Da Zao (Jujubae Fructus, two pieces), Sheng Jiang (Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens, one slice), decocted in water and taken orally.
Chuan Xiong (Ligustici Chuanxiong Rhizoma, 5 fen), Da Shu Di (Rehmanniae Radix Preparata), Dang Gui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix), Bai Shao (Paeoniae Radix Alba, each 1 qian 5 fen), decocted in water and taken orally.
Add Dan Pi (Moutan Cortex), Mai Dong (Ophiopogonis Radix), Yu Zhu (Polygonati Odorati Rhizoma), Shan Yao (Dioscoreae Rhizoma), Fu Ling (Poria) to clear deficiency heat until effective.
Da Shu Di (Rehmanniae Radix Preparata, 4 qian), Shan Yu (Corni Fructus, pitted), Shan Yao (Dioscoreae Rhizoma, each 2 qian), Dan Pi (Moutan Cortex), Fu Ling (Poria), Ze Xie (Alismatis Rhizoma, each 1 qian 5 fen), Rou Gui (Cinnamomi Cortex), Wu Wei Zi (Schisandrae Fructus, each 5 fen), decocted in water and taken orally.
Remove Wu Wei Zi from this formula and add Fu Zi (Aconiti Lateralis Radix Preparata); it is named Ba Wei Shen Qi Tang (Eight-Ingredient Kidney-Qi Decoction).
Treats Hou Bi (throat closure), Chan Hou Feng (entangling throat wind), phlegm-saliva obstruction, trismus (lockjaw), difficulty swallowing liquids.
Yan Xiao (Natrii Nitratis Crystal), Peng Sha (Borax), Pian Nao (Borneolum Syntheticum), Xiong Huang (Realgar), Bai Jiang Can (Bombyx Batryticatus, each specified amounts: Yan Xiao 1 liang 5 qian, Peng Sha 5 qian, Pian Nao 2 fen 5 li, Xiong Huang 2 qian, Bai Jiang Can 1 qian), each ground separately into fine powder, mixed uniformly. Use a bamboo tube to blow the powder onto the affected area; phlegm-saliva will be expelled. If phlegm is expelled but swelling and pain persist, urgently needle the affected area to release blood.
Huang Lian (Coptidis Rhizoma, 1 qian), Huang Qin (Scutellariae Radix), Huang Bo (Phellodendri Cortex), Hei Shan Zhi (Gardeniae Fructus, charred, each 1 qian 5 fen), decocted in water and taken orally.
Treats Hou Chuang (throat sores), as well as mouth and tongue ulcers, Zou Ma Ya Gan (gangrenous stomatitis), sore throat and swelling, and other such conditions.
Zhen Qing Dai (Indigo Naturalis), Pu Huang (Typhae Pollen, stir-fried), Huang Bo (Phellodendri Cortex, stir-fried), Ren Zhong Bai (Humanis Dentifissum, each 1 liang), Bing Pian (Borneolum Syntheticum, 5 fen), Peng Sha (Borax, 5 qian), all ground together into fine powder. Blowing into the throat is extremely effective.
Sheng Ma (Cimicifugae Rhizoma, 1 qian), Sheng Di (Rehmanniae Radix, 2 qian), Huang Lian (Coptidis Rhizoma), Lian Qiao (Forsythiae Fructus), Dan Pi (Moutan Cortex, each 1 qian), decocted in water and taken orally.
Extremely effective for stopping toothache.
Ya Xiao (Natrii Sulfas), Peng Sha (Borax, each 3 qian), Xiong Huang (Realgar, 2 qian), Bing Pian (Borneolum Syntheticum, 1 fen 5 li), She Xiang (Moschus, 5 li), all ground into powder. Use a small amount to rub on the teeth each time.
Ge Gen (Puerariae Lobatae Radix, 1 qian), Sheng Ma (Cimicifugae Rhizoma, 1 qian), Gan Cao (Licorice Radix, 5 fen), Chi Shao (Paeoniae Radix Rubra, 1 qian 5 fen), decocted in water and taken orally.
Zhen She Xiang (Moschus, 2 qian), Bing Pian (Borneolum Syntheticum, 3 fen), Huang Lian (Coptidis Rhizoma, 1 qian), all ground into fine powder. Over one day and night, blow into the throat five or six times.
