芎归加芍药汤 治产后血崩，眩晕，不知人事。
川芎 当归 芍药（各等分）
上 咀，每服四钱，以水一钟半，煎至七分，去渣，无时热服。
〔云〕产后血崩如豆汁，紫黑过多者，四物汤加蒲黄、生地汁、阿胶、蓟根、艾、白芷煎服。
〔丹〕七二孺人，产后冒寒，哭多，血再下，身润脉沉。
当归 白术 陈皮 川芎 干姜 黄芩（各二钱） 芍药（一钱） 甘草（炙些）
上分二帖，煎服。
王孺人因忧虑堕胎后，两月余血不止，腹痛。此体虚气滞，恶物行不尽。
陈皮（一钱） 白术（二钱） 芍药（一钱） 木通 川芎（五分） 甘草（二分，炙）
作汤，下五芝丸六十粒，食前。
〔《千》〕治产后恶血不尽，或经月半岁。升麻三两，清酒五升，煮取二升半，分温再服。
〔云〕牡蛎散 治产后恶露淋沥不绝，心闷短气，四肢乏弱，头目昏重，烦热。
牡蛎 川芎 熟地 茯苓 龙骨（各一两） 续断 当归（炒） 艾叶（酒炒） 五味 人参（各半两）
甘草（二两半） 地榆（半两）
上为末，每服三钱，生姜三片，枣一枚，水同煎，食前。
〔《产书》〕产后犹有余血水气者，宜服豆淋酒。黑豆五升，熬令烟尽，于瓷器内以酒一斗淬之。
上豆淋酒，治污血又能发表也。
治产后恶血不绝，腹中绞痛，气息急。

牛角 （五两，酥炙）
上为细末，炼蜜丸如桐子大。空心米饮下三四十丸，日二服。
〔《千》〕治产后崩中下血不止。菖蒲一两半，锉，酒二钟，煎一钟，去渣，分三服，食前温
服。
〔丹〕产后血崩。取木月及斤者，或半斤者，烧灰为末，用麝香一钱，枳壳去穣，内用湿纸包煨
令香熟，研细入药，每用一钱，乌梅汤下。
上木月盖木耳之类木屑叠也。按木耳治崩中滞下，效。
〔《本》〕产后下血不止。炙桑白皮煮水饮之。
〔《秘录》〕治胎落下血不止。以桑木中蝎虫烧末，酒服方寸匕，日二服。

将药材切碎，每次服用四钱，加水一钟半，煎煮至七分，去渣，随时温热服用。
〔陈氏云〕产后血崩如豆汁色，且紫黑色过多的，用四物汤加入蒲黄、生地黄汁、阿胶、蓟根、艾叶、白芷煎服。
〔朱丹溪案〕七二孺人，产后受寒，哭泣过多，再次出现阴道流血，身体湿润，脉象沉。
处方：当归、白术、陈皮、川芎、干姜、黄芩（各二钱），芍药（一钱），甘草（微炙）。
将药物分为两帖，煎服。
王孺人因忧虑导致堕胎后，两个多月阴道出血不止，伴有腹痛。这是体质虚弱、气机阻滞，恶露排不尽所致。
处方：陈皮（一钱）、白术（二钱）、芍药（一钱）、木通、川芎（五分）、甘草（二分，炙）。
煎汤，送服五芝丸六十粒，饭前服用。
〔《千金方》〕治疗产后恶血未尽，或持续数月乃至半年。升麻三两，清酒五升，煮取二升半，分两次温服。
〔陈氏云〕牡蛎散，治疗产后恶露淋漓不绝，伴有心胸烦闷、短气、四肢乏力、头目昏重、烦热。
处方：牡蛎、川芎、熟地黄、茯苓、龙骨（各一两），续断、当归（炒）、艾叶（酒炒）、五味子、人参（各半两），甘草（二两半），地榆（半两）。
将药物研为细末，每次服用三钱，加生姜三片、大枣一枚，与水同煎，饭前服用。
〔《产书》〕产后仍有残留的瘀血和水气者，适宜服用豆淋酒。黑豆五升，熬至烟尽，放入瓷器中，用一斗酒浇淬。
上述豆淋酒，既能治疗污血，又能发散表邪。
治疗产后恶血不绝，腹中绞痛，气息急促。
处方：乱发（烧灰，一两）、阿胶（二两）、代赭石、干姜（各三两）、马蹄（一个，烧）、干地黄（四两）、牛角（五两，酥炙）。
将药物研为细末，炼蜜制成梧桐子大小的丸剂。空腹时米饮送下三四十丸，每日两次。
〔《千金方》〕治疗产后崩中下血不止。菖蒲一两半，锉碎，用酒二钟，煎至一钟，去渣，分三次在饭前温服。
〔朱丹溪案〕产后血崩。取生长满两个月及一个月的木耳，或半斤重的，烧成灰研为细末，用麝香一钱，枳壳去瓤，内部用湿纸包裹煨至香熟，研细入药，每次服用一钱，乌梅汤送下。
上述“木月”大概是指木耳之类木质屑层叠生长的东西。按：木耳治疗崩中和滞下，有效。
Xiong Gui Jia Shao Yao Tang (Ligusticum and Angelica Decoction with Added Paeonia) treats postpartum metrorrhagia (profuse vaginal bleeding), dizziness, and loss of consciousness.
Chuanxiong Rhizoma (Chuanxiong), Danggui Radix Angelicae Sinensis (Danggui), Shaoyao Radix Paeoniae Alba (Shaoyao) (equal parts).
The herbs are crushed. Each dose is four qian, decocted in 1.5 zhong of water until reduced to 0.7 zhong. Strain the dregs and take warm at any time.
[Chen] For postpartum metrorrhagia resembling bean juice, excessive in purple-black color, use Si Wu Tang (Four Substances Decoction) added with Puhuang Pollen Typhae (Puhuang), Shengdihuang Juice (Sheng Dihuang Zhi), Ejiao (Donkey-hide Gelatin), Jigen (Cibotii Rhizoma or similar, here likely Sanqi/Cibet root context but literally Thistle root), Aiye Folium Artemisiae Argyi (Ai Ye), Baizhi Radix Angelicae Dahuricae (Baizhi), decocted and taken.
[Zhu Danxi Case] Lady Qi'er, after childbirth, was exposed to cold, cried excessively, and experienced recurrent vaginal bleeding. Her body felt moist/sweaty, and her pulse was deep.
Prescription: Danggui Radix Angelicae Sinensis (Danggui), Baizhu Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae (Baizhu), Chenpi Pericarpium Citri Reticulatae (Chenpi), Chuanxiong Rhizoma (Chuanxiong), Ganjiang Rhizoma Zingiberis Recens (Ganjiang), Huangqin Cortex Scutellariae (Huangqin) (each 2 qian), Shaoyao Radix Paeoniae Alba (Shaoyao) (1 qian), Gancao Radix Glycyrrhizae Preparata (Zhi Gancao) (lightly roasted).
Divide into two doses, decoct and take.
Lady Wang, due to anxiety, suffered a miscarriage. More than two months later, she had continuous vaginal bleeding accompanied by abdominal pain. This is due to deficiency of constitution and stagnation of qi, resulting in incomplete expulsion of lochia.
Prescription: Chenpi Pericarpium Citri Reticulatae (1 qian), Baizhu Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae (2 qian), Shaoyao Radix Paeoniae Alba (1 qian), Mutong Caulis Akebiae (Mutong), Chuanxiong Rhizoma (0.5 qian), Gancao Radix Glycyrrhizae Preparata (Zhi Gancao) (0.2 qian, roasted).
Make as a decoction, administer Wuzhi Wan (Five Herbs Pill) sixty pills before meals.
[Qian Jin Fang] Treats postpartum retention of evil blood, persisting for months or even half a year. Shengma Rhizoma Cimicifugae (3 liang), clear wine (5 sheng). Boil to obtain 2.5 sheng. Divide into two warm doses.
[Chen] Mu Li San (Oyster Shell Powder) treats postpartum lochia dripping continuously, accompanied by chest oppression, shortness of breath, weakness of limbs, heavy sensation in head and eyes, and irritability/heat.
Prescription: Muli Concha Ostreae (Mu Li), Chuanxiong Rhizoma (Chuanxiong), Shudihuang Radix Rehmanniae Preparata (Shu Di), Fuling Sclerotium Poriae (Fuling), Longgu Os Femoris (Long Gu) (each 1 liang), Xuduan Radix Dipsaci (Xuduan), Danggui Radix Angelicae Sinensis (fried) (Danggui), Aiye Folium Artemisiae Argyi (wine-fried) (Ai Ye), Wuweiizi Fructus Schisandrae (Wu Wei), Renshen Radix Ginseng (Renshen) (each 0.5 liang), Gancao Radix Glycyrrhizae Preparata (Gan Cao) (2.5 liang), Diyü Radix Sanguisorbae (Di Yu) (0.5 liang).
Grind into powder. Each dose is 3 qian, with three slices of Shengjiang Rhizoma Zingiberis Recens (Sheng Jiang) and one Zao Fructus Jujubae (Zao). Decoct together with water, take before meals.
[Chan Shu] For postpartum residual blood stasis and fluid qi, Dou Lin Jiu (Black Bean Pour Wine) is suitable. Heidou Semen Sojae Preparatum (5 sheng), roast until smoke ceases. Place in a porcelain vessel and quench with 1 dou of wine.
The aforementioned Dou Lin Jiu treats bloody discharge and also releases the exterior.
Treats postpartum continuous evil blood, colicky abdominal pain, and rapid breathing.
Prescription: Luafa Capillura Humanis (burnt, 1 liang), Ejiao Donkey-hide Gelatin (Ejiao) (2 liang), Daizheshis Haematitum (Daizhe Shi), Ganjiang Rhizoma Zingiberis Recens (Ganjiang) (each 3 liang), Matihors hoof (burnt, 1 unit), Dihuang Radix Rehmanniae (4 liang), Niujiao Cornu Bubali (5 liang, roasted with butter).
Grind into fine powder. Refine honey to make pills the size of paulownia seeds. Take 30-40 pills on an empty stomach with rice drink, twice daily.
[Qian Jin Fang] Treats postpartum metrorrhagia with continuous bleeding. Changpu Rhizoma Acori Tatarinowii (1.5 liang), chop. Use 2 zhong of wine, decoct to 1 zhong. Strain dregs. Divide into three doses, take warm before meals.
[Zhu Danxi Case] Postpartum metrorrhagia. Take木耳 (Muer, Auricularia auricula-judae) grown for two months or one month, or weighing half a jin. Burn to ash and grind into powder. Use Shexiang Moschus (Shexiang) 1 qian. Remove the pith of Zhike Fructus Aurantii (Zhike), wrap the inside with wet paper, bake until fragrant and cooked, grind finely, and mix into the medicine. Take 1 qian each time, administered with Wumei Tang (Mume Decoction).
The term "Mu Yue" refers to the layered woody debris like Muer. Note: Muer is effective for treating metrorrhagia and dysentery-like conditions.
[Ben Cao] Postpartum continuous lower bleeding. Roast Sangbaipi Cortex Mori (Sang Bai Pi), decoct in water and drink.
[Mi Lu] Treats continuous bleeding after abortion/fetal expulsion. Burn the scorpion insect found in mulberry trees to powder. Administer with wine, one fang cun bi (a square-inch measure) per dose, twice daily.
