Tian Diao (Heavenly Torsion) is also a syndrome of Jing Feng (Pediatric Convulsion), but during the onset of Tian Diao, the head and eyes look upward, whereas this symptom is absent in ordinary Jing Feng.
[Tang] When infants experience irregular convulsions, with eyes rolling up and pupils elevating, appearing as if possessed by spirits, and with the head and eyes looking upward, this condition is named Tian Diao. For any such disease, it is appropriate to administer Su He Xiang Wan (Styrax Pill) and moxa-ignite the area halfway between the nail and flesh of both thumbs; for males, start with the left hand, and for females, start with the right hand. Additionally, moxa-ignite the space between the big toes three to five times (zhuang) on each foot, and moxa-ignite the center of both palms five times each. These are all effective methods.

Actually, in some texts, Di Ru refers to Benzoin or similar. I will use "Di Ru (Resin)") Tian Zhu Huang (Bambusae Concretio Silicea, two ingredients ground separately, each 1 qian) La Cha (Winter Tea) Xiong Huang (Realgar, ground separately) Gan Cao (Licorice Root, roasted, each 2 qian)
