〔丹〕治毒蛇伤。急以小便洗出血，次取口中唾涂之，又以牙 封伤处，敷而护之甚妙，且
不痛肿。（《山居》云∶用犬粪敷患处亦佳。）
〔世〕路行卒被蛇咬，当急扯裹脚带扎缚伤处上下寸许，使毒瓦斯不能 伤肌体。又急用白矾
安刀头，火上溶汁沸，滴于伤处。待冷，以长篦子速挑去靥，则毒血随出，黯肿尚未退，更滴之，
以退为度。村居山僻及途中夜行，卒被蛇伤咬，难求白矾处，速作艾炷灸五壮，以唾调盐涂之。
如黯肿尚未消释，当更灸更搽，毒涎自然流出，且不透里伤人。（蜈蚣咬亦宜灸。）
〔世〕治一切毒蛇咬。用透明雄黄研细末，以醇酒浓调，浓搽伤处，水流出如涎，痛肿即消。
一方以莴苣汁和雄黄末作饼子，候干为末，每用少许贴疮口，立效。
〔《衍》〕有人被毒蛇所伤已昏困，有老僧以酒调药二钱灌之，遂苏。及以药渣涂患处，良
久复灌二钱，其苦皆去。问之，乃五灵脂一两，雄黄半两同为末，止此耳。后有中毒者用之，
无不效验。
〔世〕治毒蛇所伤。
细辛（五钱） 香白芷（五钱） 雄黄（二钱）
上为末，加麝香少许，每服二钱，温酒调服，效。
〔丹〕治一切蛇咬。用香白芷嚼碎敷患处，又用温酒调服，效。
〔世〕治一切蛇虫所伤。用贝母为末酒调，令病患尽量饮之。顷久，酒自伤处为水流出。候水尽，
却以药渣敷疮上，即愈。治蛇咬肿毒闷欲死者，用重苔六分，续随子六颗去皮，同为细末，以酒
服方寸匕，又以唾调少许敷患处，立安。（崔氏《海上方》）又方，用白矾二钱服之，防毒瓦斯攻心。
又方，金线重楼，以水磨少许敷咬处；又为细末，酒服之。又方，用柏树叶、鱼腥草、地松节、
皱面草、草决明共一处研细，敷伤处极佳。
〔海〕治蛇虺咬人。以独头蒜、酸浆草捣汁，敷咬处佳。
〔海〕治蛇咬。男子阴毛，口含二十茎，咽其津，毒不入腹。
〔世〕治诸般蛇咬，此传之于擒蛇者，药味不全亦可。

上细末，用白木香研细，生白酒调服；渣罨咬处，累效。
〔《圣》〕治蛇咬毒。食茱萸一两为细末，冷水调，分为三服，立瘥。
〔丹〕治蛇毒。吃菰蒋草根灰，取以封之。其草即野茭白是也。（《广济方》）蛇咬作疮，暖
酒浸，日三次。（《广利方》）蛇入人口并七孔中者，割猪母尾头，沥血着口中并孔口上，即出。
〔《圣》〕治因热取凉睡，有蛇入口中挽不出者。
用刀破蛇尾，内生椒二三粒裹着，即出。
〔世〕治卒为蛇绕不解，以热汤淋之。无汤，令人尿之。蛇咬，忌食酸物梅子，犯之大痛。
〔丹〕治疗毒蛇咬伤。立即用尿液清洗伤口并挤出毒血，接着取自己口中的唾液涂抹在伤口上，再用牙齿咬住伤口周围进行封固，敷药保护它非常奇妙，而且不会疼痛肿胀。（《山居方》说：用狗粪敷在患处也很好。）
〔世〕在路上行走突然被蛇咬伤，应当急忙扯下裹脚带扎缚在伤口上下各一寸左右的地方，使毒气不能伤害肌体。又急忙将白矾放在刀头上，在火上熔化至汁液沸腾，滴在伤口处。待冷却后，用长篦子迅速挑去结痂，那么毒血就会随之流出，如果暗色肿胀尚未消退，继续滴注，以肿胀消退为限度。居住在偏僻山村及夜间赶路途中，突然被蛇咬伤，难以找到白矾的地方，迅速制作艾炷灸五壮，用唾液调和盐巴涂抹患处。如果暗色肿胀仍未消散，应当再次艾灸再次涂抹，毒涎自然会流出，而且毒素不会内侵伤人。（蜈蚣咬伤也适宜艾灸。）
〔世〕治疗一切毒蛇咬伤。使用透明雄黄研成细末，用优质浓酒调匀，厚厚地涂抹在伤口处，水流出来像涎液一样，疼痛肿胀即刻消除。另一方法是用莴苣汁和雄黄末做成饼状，等干燥后研成粉末，每次取少许贴在疮口上，立刻见效。
〔《衍义》〕有人被毒蛇咬伤已经昏迷困倦，有位老僧用酒调服药粉二钱灌服，于是苏醒。随后将药渣涂在患处，很久之后又灌服二钱，痛苦全部去除。询问其药方，原来是五灵脂一两、雄黄半两共同研成粉末，仅此而已。后来有中毒者使用此方，没有不灵验的。

以上药物研成粉末，加入少许麝香，每次服用二钱，用温酒调服，有效。

〔世〕治疗一切蛇虫咬伤。用贝母研成粉末，用酒调匀，让患者尽量饮下。过一段时间后，酒会从伤口处作为水流出。等到水流尽，再将药渣敷在疮口上，即可痊愈。治疗蛇咬导致肿毒闷塞欲死者，用重楼六分，续随子六颗去皮，共同研成细末，用酒送服一方寸匕的量，同时用唾液调和少许敷在患处，立刻安定。（崔氏《海上方》）又一方法，服用白矾二钱，防止毒气攻心。又一方法，金线重楼，用水磨出少许敷在咬伤处；又研成细末，用酒送服。又一方法，用柏树叶、鱼腥草、地松节、皱面草、草决明放在一起研细，敷在伤口处极佳。
〔海〕治疗蛇虺咬人。用独头蒜、酸浆草捣出汁液，敷在咬伤处很好。

以上研成细末，用白木香研细，用生白酒调服；药渣敷盖在咬伤处，屡次有效。
〔《圣济总录》〕治疗蛇咬毒。食用茱萸一两研成细末，用冷水调匀，分为三次服用，立刻痊愈。
〔丹〕治疗蛇毒。吃菰蒋草根的灰，取来封敷伤口。这种草就是野茭白。（《广济方》）蛇咬形成疮口，用暖酒浸泡，每天三次。（《广利方》）蛇进入人口中以及七窍中的，割下母猪尾巴头部，滴血到口中及孔窍上，蛇即出来。
〔《圣济总录》〕治疗因热取凉睡觉时，有蛇进入口中拉不出来的情况。
用刀剖开蛇尾，内生花椒二三粒包裹着，蛇即出来。
[Dan] For treatment of venomous snake bites. Immediately wash the wound with urine and squeeze out the toxic blood. Then, take saliva from one's own mouth and apply it to the wound. Furthermore, seal the injured area by biting around it with teeth, cover it with dressing and protect it; this is very effective, preventing pain and swelling. (According to *Shanju Fang*: applying dog feces to the affected area is also good.)
[Shi] If bitten by a snake while traveling on the road, urgently tie a leg wrap tightly above and below the wound, about one cun apart, to prevent the toxic qi from damaging the body tissues. Urgently place alum on the tip of a knife, melt it over fire until the liquid boils, and drip it onto the wound. After cooling, quickly pick off the scab with a long comb-like tool so that toxic blood flows out. If the dark swelling has not subsided, continue dripping until the swelling recedes. In remote mountain villages or when traveling at night, if suddenly bitten by a snake and alum is unavailable, rapidly make moxa cones and apply five moxibustion sessions. Mix salt with saliva and apply to the affected area. If the dark swelling persists, repeat moxibustion and application; the toxic saliva will naturally flow out, and the toxin will not penetrate inward to harm the person. (Moxibustion is also suitable for centipede bites.)
[Shi] For treating all kinds of venomous snake bites. Use transparent realgar, grind into fine powder, mix thickly with strong wine, and apply generously to the wound. Fluid resembling saliva will flow out, and pain and swelling will disappear immediately. Another method: mix lettuce juice with realgar powder to form a cake, dry it, grind into powder, and apply a small amount to the sore opening; effect is immediate.
[Yanyi] A person bitten by a venomous snake became comatose. An old monk mixed two qian of medicine with wine and administered it orally, leading to recovery. The medicinal dregs were then applied to the affected area. After a long time, another two qian were administered orally, and all suffering ceased. Inquiry revealed the prescription consisted of only one liang of Trogopterus Dung (Wulingzhi) and half a liang of Realgar, both ground into powder. Later, those poisoned used this formula without exception achieving efficacy.
[Shi] For treating venomous snake bites.
Asarum (Wuxin) (5 qian) Angelica dahurica (Xiangbaizhi) (5 qian) Realgar (Xionghuang) (2 qian)
Grind the above into powder, add a small amount of Musk (Shexiang), take 2 qian per dose, mixed with warm wine for administration; effective.
[Dan] For treating all snake bites. Chew Angelica dahurica (Xiangbaizhi) thoroughly and apply to the affected area. Also administer with warm wine internally; effective.
[Shi] For treating all snake and insect bites. Grind Fritillaria (Beimu) into powder, mix with wine, and let the patient drink as much as possible. After some time, fluid will flow out from the wound site like water. Once the fluid stops flowing, apply the medicinal dregs to the sore; healing follows. For severe snake bite swelling causing suffocation and near-death state, use Paris polyphylla (Chonglou) 6 fen, and Euphorbia lathyris (Suisuizi) 6 seeds (peeled). Grind together into fine powder, take one fangcun bi (a measure) with wine. Also, mix a small amount with saliva and apply to the affected area; immediate relief. (From Cui's *Haishang Fang*). Another method: ingest 2 qian of Alum to prevent toxic qi from attacking the heart. Another method: Grind Paris polyphylla (Jinxian Chonglou) with water slightly and apply to the bite site; also grind into fine powder and take with wine. Another method: Combine leaves of Platycladus orientalis (Baiye), Houttuynia cordata (Yuxingcao), Pinus massoniana resin (Disongjie), Oxalis corniculata (Zhoumiancao), and Cassia obtusifolia seed (Caojueming), grind finely, and apply to the wound; excellent.
[Hai] For treating viper bites. Crush single-clove garlic and Rumex acetosa (Suanjiangcao) to extract juice, apply to the bite site; good.
[Hai] For treating snake bites. Take twenty strands of male pubic hair, hold in mouth, swallow saliva; the toxin will not enter the abdomen.
[Shi] For treating various snake bites, transmitted from snake catchers; incomplete ingredients are acceptable.
Isatis root (Daqing) Isatis leaf (Xiaoqing) Aucklandia root (Qingmuxiang) Leaves of Sapium sebiferum (Wuye) Huochicao Mountain fern (Shanjue) Guoshanlong Centipede herb (Diwugong) Asparagus cochinchinensis (Tiangmendong) White Peony Root (Baishaoyao) Elsholtzia (Xiangru)
Grind the above into fine powder, grind Bupleurum or related aromatic wood (Baimuxiang) finely, mix with raw white wine for oral administration; apply the residue to the bite site; repeatedly effective.
*[Shengji Zonglu]* For treating snake venom poisoning. Grind one liang of Zanthoxylum (Shizhuyu) into fine powder, mix with cold water, divide into three doses; cure is immediate.
[Dan] For treating snake venom. Consume ash of Zizania latifolia root (Gujianggencao), apply externally to seal the wound. This plant is wild rice stem (Ye Jiaobai). (*Guangji Fang*) For snake bite sores, soak in warm wine, three times daily. (*Guangli Fang*) If a snake enters the mouth and seven orifices, cut the head of a sow's tail, drip blood into the mouth and orifices; the snake will exit.
*[Shengji Zonglu]* For cases where a snake enters the mouth during sleep due to heat and cannot be pulled out.
Cut open the snake's tail, insert two or three grains of Sichuan pepper inside to wrap it, and the snake will exit.
[Shi] For sudden entanglement by a snake that does not release. Pour hot water over it. If no water is available, urinate on it. Regarding snake bites, avoid eating sour plums; violating this causes severe pain.
