【方歌】疮溃误入污水毒，或伤诸刺痛至骨，金蝉散〔火段〕敷
疮内，毒水流尽刺亦出。

着于疮内，焮肿疼痛至骨者，先以温水洗疮拭干，再用
金蝉散〔火段〕炼妥协，撒于疮内，外以加味太乙膏盖
之，良久毒水流尽，有刺亦自出矣。
方剂：金蝉散
组成：大干虾蟆（一个） 胡椒（十五粒）
皂角子（七粒）
上用干锅，入药在内，瓦盖锅口慢火〔火段〕至烟
尽，取出存性，研为细末取用。

又方：加味太乙膏（见溃疡门）
【方歌】夏月诸疮臭腐烂，蝇众生蛆治勿慢，蝉花散服可除之，

【注】夏月诸疮溃烂腐臭，或孤单及懒惰之人，失于洗浴，积
脓污秽，苍蝇闻秽丛聚，以致生蛆。宜急服蝉花散，蛆
尽化水而出，蝇亦不敢近疮。婴儿痘烂生蛆者，亦服前
药，外用寒水石细末掺之，又治疮脓忽臭。有冬月溃疮
生蛆者，系阴湿之所化也。宜海参为末撒之，或皂矾飞
过为末撒之，其蛆亦化为水。
方剂：蝉花散
组成：蛇蜕（火烧存性，研末，一两）
蝉蜕 青黛（各五钱）
细辛（二钱五分）
上为末，每服用三钱，黄酒调服，日用二服。
【方歌】蝉花散疗诸疮秽，夏月生蛆蝇近围，蛇蜕细辛蝉蜕黛，
酒调蛆化蝇畏飞。
【方歌】疮口溃破后误入污水毒素，或者被木刺等尖锐物刺伤至骨，用金蝉散（经火煅制）敷于疮内，待毒水流尽，木刺也会随之排出。
【注】若疮口溃破后误入皂角水、驴马尿粪等一切污秽毒水进入疮口，或者有木刺刺入疮内，导致红肿热痛剧烈甚至痛彻骨髓者，先用温水清洗疮口并擦干，再用金蝉散（经火煅制）炼制妥当，撒在疮内，外部用加味太乙膏覆盖。过一段时间后，毒水会流尽，若有木刺也会自行排出。
方剂：金蝉散
组成：大干虾蟆（一只） 胡椒（十五粒） 皂角子（七粒）
以上药材放入干锅中，用瓦片盖住锅口，用慢火（经火煅制）烧至烟气散尽，取出药物保留其药性，研磨成细末备用。
【方歌】金蝉散治疗疮口溃烂受污水毒侵袭，肿痛或因木刺刺伤所致，使用虾蟆、胡椒、皂角子，经火煅至烟尽后研末撒敷疗效良好。
又一方：加味太乙膏（见溃疡门章节）
【方歌】夏季各种疮疡恶臭腐烂，苍蝇滋生蛆虫时治疗不可迟缓，服用蝉花散可以消除，蛆虫化为水流出，苍蝇畏惧此散而远离。
【注】夏季各种疮疡溃烂腐臭，或者是孤僻及懒惰之人，疏于洗浴，导致脓液和污秽积聚，苍蝇闻到臭味聚集而来，以致生出蛆虫。应当立即服用蝉花散，蛆虫全部化为水排出，苍蝇也不敢靠近疮口。婴儿痘疮溃烂生蛆的，也服用前面的药物，外用寒水石细末掺敷，又能治疗疮脓突然变臭的情况。有冬季溃烂疮口生蛆的，属于阴湿之气所化。宜用海参研末撒敷，或者用经过飞制处理的皂矾研末撒敷，其蛆虫也会化为水。
方剂：蝉花散
组成：蛇蜕（火烧保留药性，研末，一两） 蝉蜕 青黛（各五钱） 细辛（二钱五分）
以上药物研为细末，每次服用三钱，用黄酒调服，每日服用两次。

[Formula Verse] When a sore ulcerates and is mistakenly exposed to dirty water or toxins, or when injured by sharp objects like wood splinters penetrating to the bone, apply Jinchan San (processed by calcination) inside the wound. Once the toxic fluid drains completely, the splinter will also be expelled.
[Annotation] If an ulcerated wound is contaminated with soap pod water, donkey or horse urine and feces, or any other filthy toxic fluids entering the sore, or if a wood splinter penetrates into the wound causing inflammation, swelling, and severe pain extending to the bone, first wash the wound with warm water and dry it. Then, prepare Jinchan San (processed by calcination) appropriately and sprinkle it inside the wound. Cover it externally with Jiawei Taiyi Gao. After some time, the toxic fluid will drain completely, and any splinter will naturally come out.
Formula: Jinchan San
Composition: Large dried toad (one), Hu Jiao (Black Pepper, Piperis Nigris Fructus) (15 grains), Zao Jiao Zi (Gleditsiae Sinensis Semen) (7 grains).
Place the above ingredients in a dry pot, cover the mouth of the pot with a tile, and slowly roast (calcine) over low heat until the smoke disappears. Remove the medicine, preserve its efficacy, grind into fine powder, and use.
[Formula Verse] Jinchan San treats sores ulcerated by exposure to dirty water toxins; swelling and pain may result from wood splinter injuries. Using Toad, Black Pepper, and Soap Pod seeds, roasted until smoke ceases then ground and sprinkled yields good results.
Another Formula: Jiawei Taiyi Gao (See Ulceration Section)
[Formula Verse] In summer, various sores become foul and rotting, with flies breeding maggots; treatment should not be delayed. Taking Chanhua San can eliminate them; the maggots turn into water and are discharged, while flies fear the powder and stay away.
[Annotation] In summer, various sores ulcerate, rot, and emit a foul odor. Or, for solitary or lazy individuals who neglect bathing, accumulating pus and filth, flies gather due to the smell, leading to maggot infestation. One should immediately take Chanhua San; the maggots will all transform into water and discharge, and flies will dare not approach the sore. For infants whose smallpox lesions ulcerate and breed maggots, administer the aforementioned medicine as well. Externally, sprinkle fine powder of Hanshuishi (Halloysitum Rubrum) on the area. This also treats sudden foul odor of sore pus. Cases of maggot infestation in winter ulcerations are caused by yin-dampness transformation. It is suitable to sprinkle powdered Hai Shen (Sea Cucumber, Holothuria) or Fei Guo Fan (Calcined Alumen, Alumini Sulphas Preparatus) powder. The maggots will also transform into water.
Formula: Chanhua San
Composition: She Tui (Bombyx Batryticatus / Snake Skin, Ophiopogonis Folium? Note: Text says She Tui which is usually Snake Skin, but context implies insect/reptile skin often used for worms. Standard term: Serpentis Shed Skin, Ophichtri Cutanea) [Burned to preserve efficacy, ground to powder, 1 liang], Chan Tui (Cicadae Periostracum), Qing Dai (Indigo Naturalis) [each 5 qian], Xi Xin (Asari Radix et Rhizoma) [2 qian 5 fen].
Grind the above into powder. Take 3 qian per dose, mixed with Huang Jiu (Yellow Wine), taken twice daily.
[Formula Verse] Chanhua San treats various sores with filth; in summer, maggots appear surrounded by flies. Using Snake Skin, Xi Xin, Cicada Shell, and Qing Dai, mixed with wine causes maggots to dissolve and flies to flee in fear.
