Decoction of Cnidii Fructus (Shechuangzi San):
Take one ingredient, Cnidii Fructus (Cnidium monnieri fruit), grind it into fine powder. Mix with a small amount of Bai Fen (White Powder, historically lead carbonate or rice flour used for cosmetic or therapeutic purposes) until well combined. Form into pills the size of a jujube pit. Wrap in silk cotton and insert vaginally; this will naturally produce a warm sensation.

When the Shaoyin pulse is slippery and rapid, sores will arise in the yin region. If there are erosive sores in the yin region that are ulcerated, wash them with Langya Tang (Wolf's Tooth Decoction).
[Annotation]
"Yin zhong" refers to the anterior yin (external genitalia). Sores arising and becoming erosive/ulcerated are caused by damp-heat and uncleanliness. Washing with Langya Tang serves to eliminate damp-heat and kill parasites. "Langya" does not refer to wolf teeth, but to Langya Cao (Wolf's Tooth Herb, likely Sarcandra glabra or similar). If unavailable, Radix Saposhnikoviae (Fangfeng) or potentially Datura metel root (Langdu, though toxic, was historically substituted in specific contexts, here noted as an alternative) may be used. If the sores are deep and washing cannot reach them, use the subsequent method.
[Collected Annotations]
Li Chen stated: The Shaoyin channel belongs to the Kidney. The yin region is the aperture of the Kidney. The *Neijing* states: "Slippery indicates excess Yin qi." It also says: "Rapid indicates heat." Therefore, sores arising in the yin region and becoming erosive/ulcerated are all caused by damp-heat. Langya has a bitter taste and cold nature; cold overcomes heat, and bitterness kills parasites. Thus, it is indicated for washing.

Stomach qi leaks downward, causing flatulence from the anterior yin with audible noise. This is due to excess Gu Qi (food stagnation/grain qi). Apply Gaofa Jian (Fat and Hair Decoction) to guide it out.
[Commentary]
The five characters "Gaofa Jian dao zhi" (Apply Gaofa Jian to guide it out) should be considered interpolations (erroneous additions). Below "This is excess Gu Qi," the six characters "Chang fu Helile Wan" (Long-term administration of Terminalia Chebula Pills) should exist. Flatulence from the posterior yin is called Qi Li (Qi diarrhea/dysentery), treated with Helile San (Terminalia Chebula Powder); flatulence from the anterior yin is called Yin Chui (yin blowing/vaginal flatus), treated with Helile Wan (Terminalia Chebula Pills). Only then do the text meaning and the correspondence between medicine and disease align. Helile Wan uses Helile (Terminalia chebula) to secure deficient lower qi, and Houpo (Magnolia Bark) and Chenpi (Aged Tangerine Peel) to calm excess Gu Qi, which is consistent. The formula was erroneously placed in the *Miscellaneous Treatments Chapter*. Below it is another formula for pediatric gan-chong erosion of teeth, used to kill parasites and detoxify. This might belong in a separate pediatric section or miscellaneous formulas section. Its presence at the end of the Women's Miscellaneous Diseases chapter is also a textual error.
[Annotation]
Kidney deficiency failing to secure leads to qi leaking downward, causing audible flatulence from the anterior yin (Yin Chui). "Excess Gu Qi" here refers to Stomach excess combined with Kidney deficiency. Helile Wan is used to secure the descending qi and drain the excess Gu Qi.
