The *Huangdi Mingtang Jing* (Yellow Emperor's Hall of Light Classic) and the acupuncture and moxibustion methods of Hua Tuo and Bian Que are either complex in text and profound in meaning, with scrolls divided separately; or the order of upper points and lower acupoints contradicts each other. Since it has been a long time since the sages passed away, later learners are ignorant. In the hurried process of reading chapters and analyzing texts, combined with the fact that the key acupoints for selecting moxa cones as mentioned in the *Mingtang Jing* are easily confused, therefore, regarding the head, face, hands, feet, chest, hypochondrium, abdomen, and back, all acupoints in their respective locations have been copied. The methods of treatment are briefly noted under each acupoint, and the principles of acupuncture and moxibustion are detailed at the end of each section. This work relies exclusively on the orthodox classics of the Yellow Emperor (Xuanyuan), while also incorporating various theories from different schools. It is done with the fear that light-minded and foolish thoughts might disorderly disrupt the traces of the sages, causing mediocre errors to confuse the sage's intent. This is akin to summer moths losing themselves in the lamp flame, or autumn cicadas unaware of the snow.
