水煎。热酒冲服。此法因乳香没药二味去瘀太峻。恐伤胎元。故宜加意而用。如万不得

妊妇患时症或患六淫重症。急用护胎之法。用井底泥涂脐至关元。（脐下三寸）干则再
易之。

孕妇患胃痈（胃部化脓性炎症），多因食用炙烤、油炸、煎炒之物，助长胃火或引动肝火，皆能导致此病。小肠痈原本素有瘀血，夹杂湿气凝结而成痈肿。
治疗孕妇一切内痈，唯独乳痈（乳房化脓性炎症）不宜使用此方。
丹皮（一两）、米仁（薏苡仁，一两五钱）、栝蒌仁（一两）、银花（金银花，二两）、草河车（即蚤休，二两）。
共研为末。每次服用五钱，水煎服。○若为胃痈，可加川连（黄连）五钱，共研为末即可。

孕妇大便不通，因血燥火旺所致。宜用六味丸去掉丹皮，加川柏（黄柏）、知母来治疗。小便不通，因胎坠于下……
生地（八钱）、泽泻（三钱）、茯苓（三钱）、淮山药（二钱）、山萸肉（八分）、川柏（黄柏，一钱五分）。
清煎服用。
Fushen (Poria with Hostwood), Fuling (Poria), Renshen (Ginseng), Yuanzhi Rou (Polygalae Radix), each 1 liang; Shichangpu (Acori Tatarinowii Rhizoma), Longchi (Dragon Teeth), each 5 qian.
Made into pills with refined honey, size of wu-tzu (walnut seeds). Coated with Chen Sha (Cinnabar). Take 2 qian per dose, administered with Renshen Decoction before bedtime. Alternatively, administer with decoction of Dengxincao (Junci Medulla, seven stalks).
If a pregnant woman suffers from Wei Yong (Stomach Abscess), it is often caused by consuming roasted, fried, or pan-fried foods, which exacerbate Stomach Fire or stir up Liver Fire. Both can lead to this condition. Xiao Chang Yong (Intestinal Abscess) originally involves stasis of blood, complicated by dampness condensation, resulting in abscess formation.
This formula treats all internal abscesses in pregnant women, except for Ru Yong (Breast Abscess), which is not suitable for this prescription.
Danpi (Moutan Cortex), Yiyiren (Coicis Semen, 1.5 liang), Gualou Ren (Trichosanthis Semen), Yinhua (Lonicerae Flos, 2 liang), Caoheche (i.e., Xiuxiu/Paris Polyphylla, 2 liang).
Grind into powder. Take 5 qian per dose, decoct in water and drink. ○ For Stomach Abscess, add Chuanlian (Coptidis Rhizoma, 5 qian), grind together into powder.

Treats Breast Abscess in pregnant women.
Danggui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix, 2 qian), Chao Baishao (Prepared White Peony Root, 1 qian), Chao Qingpi (Prepared Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium Rubrum, 8 fen), Chaihu (Bupleuri Radix, 1 qian), Fuling (Poria, 3 qian), Xiakucao (Prunellae Spica, 3 qian). Quan Gualou (Whole Trichosanthes Fruit, 1 piece), Fen Gancao (Prepared Licorice Root), Danggui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix, wine-washed, each 5 qian), Zhi Rushiang (Prepared Frankincense), Zhi Moyao (Prepared Myrrh, each 1 qian).
Decoct in water. Take with hot wine. This method is used because Rushiang and Moyao are too harsh in removing stasis, potentially damaging the fetal origin; therefore, they should be used with caution. If absolutely unavoidable...
If a pregnant woman suffers from epidemic diseases or severe conditions caused by the Six Exogenous Pathogens (Wind, Cold, Summer-heat, Dampness, Dryness, Fire), urgent protective measures for the fetus are required. Apply mud from the bottom of a well to the umbilicus extending to the Guanyuan acupoint (3 cun below the umbilicus). Reapply when dry.
