Preface: Swallowing acid (acid regurgitation) is a minor ailment that may occur temporarily but should not persist. Some neglect it due to its mildness, unaware that it is a precursor to Fan Wei (regurgitation/vomiting). As the saying goes, "If you do not cut off the tip of a hair, you will soon need an axe." Therefore, one must be cautious. Herein, four ancient formulas are examined, aiming to prevent problems before they arise and stop gradual deterioration.
