治疗童子疟疾病发作不止的方剂：
知母、贝母、半夏、甘草、茯苓、常山、人参、草果、浓朴。
用水两钟，加入生姜、大枣煎煮至五分量，空腹服用。
治疗单疟（只发热不恶寒）的方剂：
柴胡、地骨皮、知母、贝母、常山、栀子、甘草、槟榔、蝉蜕、葛根、桃头、柳头。
用水一钟煎煮至五分量，空腹服用。
真阿魏（三钱）、雄黄（二钱）、辰砂（一钱五分）。
用沸水将阿魏泡软后研磨，与雄黄混合制成丸药，如干性糊状物调和成丸。每服一丸，空腹时用滚开的白开水送服。
○积滞（食积停滞）
治疗小儿因积滞导致腹胀、不能进食的方剂：
杏仁（去皮尖制成粉一两）、巴豆（去油膜制成粉三钱）、百草霜（七钱，用油炒）、黄蜡（七钱）。
将黄蜡熔化，与药粉混合制成丸药，大小如绿豆。用温开水送服。
治疗小儿各种积滞，表现为肚大腹满、脱肛、食物不消化、呕吐腹泻、口气酸臭、乳食不调，结成痞气肿胀等症，此方也能治疗：
木香（二钱五分）、三棱（炒五钱）、陈皮（五钱五分）、蓬术（五钱）、胡椒（三钱）、萝卜子（生用）。
以上药物研成细末，用面糊调和制成丸药，大小如黍米。每次服用三十丸，用米汤送下。
治疗小儿因惊、食积、气滞导致的腹胀、发热、饮食不化、疼痛、伤食等症状：
沉香、木香、三棱（炒）、蓬术（各二钱）、青皮、陈皮、黄连、枳壳（炒）、白面（各三钱）。
以上药物研成粉末，用糊状物调和制成丸药，大小如麻子。每次服用十五丸，根据病情加减，用米汤送下。
治疗小腹中积滞疼痛的方剂：
白术、茯苓、枳实、山楂、香附、陈皮（各一两）、青皮（七钱）、使君子、蓬术（各五钱）、槟榔、神曲（各一两）、官桂、木香（各三钱）。
○若有热象，去掉官桂、木香，加入黄连。
以上药物研成粉末，用面糊调和制成丸药，大小如麻子。每次服用三四十丸，用姜汤送下；或者制成蜜丸，大小如龙眼核，含化服用亦可。
○肿胀
Formula for treating persistent malaria attacks in children:
*Mumu* (Anemarrhenae Rhizoma), *Beimu* (Fritillariae Bulbus), *Banxia* (Pinelliae Rhizoma Praeparatum), *Gancao* (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma), *Fuling* (Poria), *Changshan* (Dichroae Radix), *Renshen* (Ginseng Radix), *Caoguo* (Tsaoko Fructus), *Nongpo* (Magnoliae Officinalis Cortex).
Decoct two units of water with ginger and jujube until reduced to 0.5 unit; take on an empty stomach.
Formula for treating simple malaria (fever without chills):
*Chaihu* (Bupleuri Radix), *Digupi* (Lycii Cortex), *Mumu* (Anemarrhenae Rhizoma), *Beimu* (Fritillariae Bulbus), *Changshan* (Dichroae Radix), *Zhizi* (Gardeniae Fructus), *Gancao* (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma), *Binglang* (Arecae Semen), *Chantui* (Cicadae Periostracum), *Gegen* (Puerariae Lobatae Radix), *Taotou* (Persicae Semen - specifically the tip/shoot context implies specific plant part, literal translation 'peach head'), *Liutou* (Salix shoot/tip).
Decoct one unit of water until reduced to 0.5 unit; take on an empty stomach.
True Asafoetida (*Ewei*, Ferulae Resina) (3 qian), Realgar (*Xionghuang*, Realgar) (2 qian), Cinnabar (*Chensha*, Cinabris).
Soak the asafoetida in boiling water, grind it, mix with realgar, and form pills. If too dry, add thin paste to bind. Take one pill on an empty stomach, washed down with boiling plain water.
○ Accumulation (Food Stagnation)
Formula for treating pediatric accumulation causing abdominal distension and anorexia:
*Xingren* (Armeniacae Semen Amarum) (remove skin and tips, make into powder, 1 liang), *Badou* (Crotonis Fructus) (remove oil membrane, make into powder, 3 qian), *Baicaoshuang* (Carbonis Caulis Bambusae in Taenia) (7 qian, stir-fried with oil), *Huangla* (Cera Flava) (7 qian).
Melt the yellow wax, mix with the drug powders, and form pills the size of mung beans. Take with warm boiled water.
Formula for treating various types of pediatric accumulation characterized by large abdomen, abdominal fullness, rectal prolapse, indigestion, vomiting and diarrhea, sour breath, irregular milk/food intake, forming masses (Pi Qi), and swelling:
*Muxiang* (Aucklandiae Radix) (2.5 qian), *Sanleng* (Sparganii Rhizoma) (stir-fried, 5 qian), *Chenpi* (Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium) (5.5 qian), *Pengzhu* (Curcumae Zedoariae Rhizoma) (5 qian), *Hujiao* (Piperis Longi Fructus) (3 qian), *Luobozisheng* (Raphani Semen Crude).
Grind all ingredients into fine powder, mix with wheat flour paste to form pills the size of millet seeds. Take 30 pills per dose with rice soup.
Formula for treating pediatric conditions caused by fright, food accumulation, and qi stagnation, manifesting as abdominal distension, fever, inability to digest food, pain, and food injury:
*Chenxiang* (Aquilariae Lignum Resinatum), *Muxiang* (Aucklandiae Radix), *Sanleng* (Sparganii Rhizoma) (stir-fried), *Pengzhu* (Curcumae Zedoariae Rhizoma) (each 2 qian), *Qingpi* (Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium Viride), *Chenpi* (Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium), *Huanglian* (Coptidis Rhizoma), *Zhiqiao* (Aurantii Fructus) (stir-fried), *Baifan* (Tritici Farina) (each 3 qian).
Grind into powder, mix with paste to form pills the size of hemp seeds. Take 15 pills per dose, adjusting according to symptoms, washed down with rice soup.
Formula for treating abdominal mass pain:
*Bai Zhu* (Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma), *Fuling* (Poria), *Zhishi* (Aurantii Fructus Immaturus), *Shanzha* (Crataegi Fructus), *Xiangfu* (Cyperi Rhizoma), *Chenpi* (Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium) (each 1 liang), *Qingpi* (Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium Viride) (7 qian), *Shijunzi* (Quisqualis Fructus), *Pengzhu* (Curcumae Zedoariae Rhizoma) (each 5 qian), *Binglang* (Arecae Semen), *Shenqu* (Massae Fermentatae Medicamentosa) (each 1 liang), *Guangui* (Cinnamomi Cortex), *Muxiang* (Aucklandiae Radix) (each 3 qian).
○ If there is heat, remove Guangui and Muxiang, and add Huanglian.
Grind into powder, mix with wheat flour paste to form pills the size of hemp seeds. Take 30-40 pills per dose with ginger soup; or make honey pills the size of longan seeds to be dissolved in the mouth.
