Another method: Treatment for severe itching of the eyes caused by wind pathogen. This condition is attributed to parasites. Take the greasy dirt from the inside of a pig's stomach, wrap it in old gauze. Have the patient lie supine and cover the eyes with the wrapped gauze. The parasites will crawl out naturally. This has been tested and proven effective.
Another method: Treatment for *Que Mu* (Nyctalopia/Night Blindness), where vision is lost at night. Apply the juice of mouse liver to the eyes.
Another method: Treatment for Trichiasis (In-turned Eyelashes).
Take one *Mu Bie Zi* (Saposhnikoviae Radix), remove the shell, wrap it in cotton, and insert it into the nostril. If the left eye is affected, insert into the right nostril; if the right eye is affected, insert into the left nostril. After one day and one night, the lashes will grow out normally.
Another method: Treatment for *Yan Dan* (Eyelid Erysipelas/Red Swelling and Pain).
Scrape the fibrous residue from an old ladle used in the kitchen and apply it to the affected area. It will heal immediately.
Ear diseases are categorized into three types: Wind-Heat, Qi Obstruction, and Kidney Deficiency.
The ears are the orifices of the Kidneys. When Kidney Qi is sufficient, hearing is acute; when Kidney Qi is deficient, pathogenic factors invade, causing various symptoms. For instance, if wind pathogens enter the ear and bind with Qi, it causes headache and dizziness; buzzing sounds in the ear are called *Feng Er* (Wind Ear). If heat pathogens invade due to deficiency and condense with the vessels, leading to pus discharge after a long time, it is called *Nong Er* (Pus Ear). If wind stagnates for a long time, causing body fluids to accumulate and form nodules that block the ear, resulting in sudden deafness, it is called [Character missing in original text] Ear. If Liver Qi rebels, causing frequent dizziness and Qi obstruction, it is called *Jue Long* (Syncope Deafness). If excessive sexual activity damages Essence and Qi, leading to exhaustion of Kidney Water, it is called *Lao Er* (Fatigue Ear). If deafness occurs after a major illness, it is a sign of deficiency. Although the causes vary, none occur without fatigue damaging Blood and Essence, allowing pathogens to invade due to deficiency. The treatment method must dispel wind and heat, harmonize Blood and Qi, consolidate Essence, and regulate sexual activity. Thus, deafness and ear obstruction can be prevented.
