木香（锉，各五钱） 水五碗煎药，剩汤一碗，将渣用绢滤去，将汤再煎滚，投提净朴硝
三两六钱，文火慢煎，水气将尽，欲凝结之时，倾入碗内，下朱砂、冰片各三钱，
金铂一百张，各预研细和匀，将药碗安入凉水盆中，候冷，凝如雪为度。大人每用
一钱，小儿二分，十岁者五分，徐徐咽之即效。或用淡竹叶、灯心煎汤化服亦可。
咽喉肿痛等证，吹之亦效。

白矾（不拘多少研末，用方砖一块，以火烧红，洒水于砖上，将矾末布于砖上，以瓷盘覆盖，四面灰壅一日
夜，矾飞盘上，扫下用，二钱） 白霜梅（二个，去核） 真明雄黄 穿山甲（各一钱，炙） 共研细末，
以细笔管吹入喉内。

一钱，小儿二分，十岁儿童五分，慢慢咽下即见效。或者用淡竹叶、灯心草煎汤化服也可以。
咽喉肿痛等证，吹入药粉也有效。

Strain the dregs through silk cloth, bring the liquid to a boil again, add three liang and six qian of purified Mirabilite [Puxiao], simmer over low heat until the water is nearly evaporated and the mixture is about to coagulate. Pour into a bowl, add Cinnabar [Zhusha] and Borneolum Syntheticum [Bingpian] (each 3 qian), and one hundred sheets of Gold Leaf [Jinbo], all pre-ground fine and mixed evenly. Place the medicine bowl in a basin of cool water, wait until it cools and solidifies like snow. Adults take 1 qian per dose, children 2 fen, ten-year-olds 5 fen, swallow slowly for immediate effect. Alternatively, dissolve in decoction of Lophatheri Herba [Danzhuye] and Junci Medulla [Dengxin] for oral administration. Blowing the powder into the throat is also effective for conditions such as sore throat and swelling.
