Take thirty jin of fat and tender yellow female beef, cut into small pieces, remove the fascia, and boil in running water until soft. Filter through cloth to remove dregs, take the pure juice, return it to the pot, and simmer over low heat until it becomes amber-colored. The patient should abstain from sexual activity and eat bland food beforehand, skipping dinner the day before. Prepare a bright but unventilated room. On the day, the patient enters the room and drinks one cup of the juice, followed by another cup after a short while, accumulating to dozens of cups. In cold months, warm the juice in a double boiler before drinking, allowing spontaneous vomiting and diarrhea. If the disease is located in the upper part, aim for more vomiting; if in the lower part, aim for more purging; if present in the upper, middle, and lower parts, aim for both abundant vomiting and purging. This depends entirely on flexible adjustment of speed and dosage. (Rapid consecutive intake causes upward rebellion leading to more vomiting; slow intake allows downward flow leading to more purging.) Observe the expelled matter; stop only when the root of the disease is completely eliminated. After vomiting and purging, thirst will inevitably occur. Do not give ordinary water; instead, have the patient drink their own urine, called "Lunhui Jiu" (Wheel-turning Wine). This not only quenches thirst but also washes away residual filth. After defecation, the patient may feel tired and sleepy. Upon waking and feeling hungry, first give thick rice soup, then light thin porridge. After three days, give a small amount of vegetable soup, followed by thick porridge and soft rice. Maintain this regimen for half a month or a month. One will feel spiritually refreshed and physically light and vigorous, with chronic ailments completely resolved. Thereafter, avoid beef for several years. The cow corresponds to Kun Earth; yellow is the color of Earth; its nature is compliance, yet it mimics Qian Heaven to achieve its function, which is the utility of the male ox. Meat serves as medicine for the Stomach; cooked into liquid, it becomes formless. It spreads horizontally into muscle collaterals, penetrating from the intestines and stomach to the skin, hair, nails, reaching everywhere. Accumulations that persist for a long time form physical masses, attaching to the folds and curves of the intestines and stomach, serving as nests that obstruct Jin-Ye (Body Fluids) and Qi-Blood, causing steaming and burning pathologies. Without miraculous methods akin to scraping intestines and exposing bones, how can one breach these defenses? The spreading meat liquid is received by the intestines and stomach. In the folded and curved areas, the liquid flows abundantly, like a flood rising, floating up decayed and old matter, pushing and washing it downstream, preventing stagnation. All obstructions are washed clean. Beef possesses heavy, rich, harmonious, and compliant properties. It is vibrant and dissipating, moistening witheredness and tonifying deficiency. Would there not be joy in spiritual refreshment?
