Throat obstruction (sore throat with swelling and blockage), take Cinnamon Twig powder, size of a jujube pit, wrap in cotton, place under the tongue, and it will break open.
Another prescription: Slowly swallow Jingshi (Juice of *Pteroceltis tatarinowii*).
Another method: Firmly pull upward the hair on the vertex near the anterior fontanelle; the throat obstruction will burst with a sound and heal immediately, which is most miraculous.

For those who appear dead after falling from carriages or horses, or being crushed by wheels or beaten by wood, arrange the body, cover the mouth, nose, and eyes with a sleeve for about the time it takes to eat one meal, and they will revive. Once the eyes open, give two sheng of warm human urine to drink.

For any fall causing injury nearing death, take five sheng of clean earth, steam until moist and flowing, divide in half, wrap in several layers of old cloth, and apply as a hot compress to the injured area. Do not let it be too hot to avoid breaking the flesh. Replace when cold, stop when pain ceases. This method is highly effective for all injuries. Even those who are clinically dead and unable to speak can be revived. Injuries lasting thirty years can also be cured.

For wrist fractures or bone damage, crush fresh Hemp Root leaves (*Cannabis sativa* root leaves) and extract juice, drink one sheng. If fresh hemp is unavailable, boil dried hemp root and drink the juice.

For wrist fractures, shattered limbs, and tendon injuries from falls, use Sheng Dihuang (Fresh *Rehmanniae Radix*) in unlimited quantity, crush thoroughly, and apply to the injured site. Alternatively, crush and cook the Rehmannia, wrap the injury, secure with bamboo splints, bind tightly to prevent movement, change ten times a day, and heal in three days. If blood accumulates at the fracture site, incise with a knife to drain the blood.

For limb fractures, tendon injuries, and sprains, soak three sheng of Fermented Soybean Paste (*Douchi*) in three sheng of water, extract the juice, and drink.

For head wounds with brain matter protruding, or lockjaw due to wind-stroke, take one dou of soybeans, roast to remove raw smell without overcooking, grind into powder, steam thoroughly until vapor fills the steamer. Place in a basin, pour one dou of wine over it. Drink one sheng warm, cover to induce sweating, and apply Apricot Kernel Ointment to the wound.

For blunt trauma causing blood stagnation obstructing the heart, inability to breathe or speak, pry open the mouth, urinate into it, and have them swallow to regain consciousness.

For sudden poisoning by arrow tips, crush Indigo Plant juice (*Isatis tinctoria*), drink one sheng, and apply to the wound. If Indigo is unavailable, soak blue cloth, wring out the juice, drink it, and wash the wound.
Another method: Place salt in the umbilicus and moxibustion.
Another method: Boil Sheng Dihuang (Fresh *Rehmanniae Radix*) juice into pills and take them; the poison arrow tip will be expelled in 100 days.

For abdominal wounds with eviscerated intestines, to reduce them, take human feces, dry it, use as powder on the intestines, and they will return inside.
For external injuries where intestines protrude but are not severed, wash the intestines with Millet Porridge juice, continue drinking rice porridge, gradually introduce thick gruel after twenty days, and heal in 100 days.

For metal wounds feeling stuffy and full, take one sheng of Adzuki Beans (*Vigna angularis*), soak in vinegar, roast until dry, then soak again. Repeat for three days until black. Take a square-inch spoonful, three times daily.

For arrowheads or blades stuck in the throat, chest, or hidden areas that cannot be removed, take one part Peony Bark (*Moutan Cortex*) and two parts White Salt (or Bai Lian / *Ampelopsis radix* in another formula). Grind fine, sieve, and take a square-inch spoonful with wine, three times daily, until expelled.
Another method: Apply Trichosanthes Juice (*Trichosanthis Fructus Juice*) to the arrow wound to expel the tip.
Another method: Take Herba Siegesbeckiae (*Siegesbeckiae Herba*) square-inch spoonful with wine, three times daily, to cure.

For sudden arrow wounds not extracted, or blood clots in the flesh, burn menstrual cloth to ash, take with wine.
Another method: Equal parts Ampelopsis Root (*Ampelopsis Radix*) and Pinellia Tuber (*Pinelliae Rhizoma*), grind fine, take square-inch spoonful with wine, three times daily. Superficial wounds clear in ten days, deep wounds in twenty days.

For metal wounds with unceasing bleeding, boil Mulberry Root bark (*Mori Cortex*) for ten boils, drink one sheng to stop bleeding.
Another method: Seal with Willow Catkin.
Another method: Crush Plantago Seed/Leaf juice (*Plantaginis Semen/Herba*) and apply; blood stops immediately. Use whole root for instant effect.
Another method: Drink three sheng of human urine to heal.
Another method: Apply spider web to the wound.

For metal wounds with blood stasis in the abdomen, take three sheng of Hemp Seeds (*Cannabis Sativae Semen*), fourteen stalks of Scallion White (*Allii Fistulosi Bulbus*), have several people crush them together, boil in nine sheng of water to obtain one and a half sheng, take in one dose.

For internal leakage from metal wounds, collect blood from the wound into a cup, mix with water, and drink.
Another method: On the seventh day of the seventh lunar month, take one liang of Male Flower of Hemp (*Cannabis Sativa Flos*), six liang of Spore of Typha (*Typhae Pollen*), take one qian bi with wine, five times daily and twice at night.
Another method: Powdered Peony Bark (*Moutan Cortex*), take three finger-pinches with water; immediate urination of bloody urine occurs.

For severe pain from metal wounds, roast Yang Mu White Bark (*Populus tomentosa* inner bark) until dry, grind into powder, take a square-inch spoonful, three times daily. Also apply powder externally to heal.
For puncture wounds unbearable in pain, refractory to treatment, take one bunch of Scallion, boil in three sheng of water for a few boils, soak and wash the wound for good pain relief.

For muscle tears in hidden areas from falls from carriages/horses or other objects, mix flour with vinegar and apply.

When tendons and bones are newly broken, apply hot horse urine to prevent scarring.
Another method: Two sheng of Soybeans, five sheng of water, boil to obtain two sheng, mix with six or seven sheng of strong wine, drink the bean juice. Finish in one day; effect is like pouring hot water on snow. Small red beans are also good.

For bleeding from falls, horse accidents, or collapsing timber, with abdominal distension and shortness of breath, take five sheng of Soybeans, boil in one dou of water to obtain two sheng, remove beans, drink in one dose. For severe cases... [text incomplete].

For metal wounds, apply dense Duan Shi (Smelted Iron Pyrite) directly. If unavailable, ash works too; wrapping stops pain and speeds healing. For deep wounds not suitable for rapid closure, add a little Talcum Powder (*Talcum*).

For acupuncture wounds with unceasing bleeding, burn human feces to ash and apply.

For metal wounds with heavy bleeding, the patient will be thirsty. Endure it; eat dry foods and fatty substances to quench thirst. Avoid salty foods. Drinking too much porridge or sweet beverages causes blood to move and overflow, leading to death. Also avoid anger, loud laughter, sexual thoughts, physical labor, excessive sour/salty food, alcohol, and hot soups. Continue these restrictions even after the wound heals. Return to normal only after 100 days or half a year.

Another method: Burn dried plums to charcoal, grind to powder, apply; heals overnight. Also treats bruising from blows.
