上四味， 咀，以水三升，煮取一升。顿服之，当即下血。

当归 桂心 干漆（熬） 大枣（擘） 虻虫（去翅足，熬） 水蛭（各二两，熬） 芍

辛黄芩 葳蕤 甘草（炙，各一两） 吴茱萸 桃仁（各一升，去皮尖两仁）
上一十三味， 咀，以酒一斗渍一宿。明旦煮之取三升，分三服。

干姜 吴茱萸 附子（炮去皮） 大黄 芍药（各三两） 黄芩 干地黄 当归 桂心 白
术（各二两） 人参 石苇（各一两，去毛） 蜀椒（一合，去目及闭口，汗） 桃仁（七
十枚，
去皮尖及双仁，熬） 薏苡仁（一升）
上一十五味，捣筛为末，炼蜜和丸如梧桐子。先食，酒服一丸，日三服，不知稍加之，
以知为度。
治疗妇女月经不通畅，腹部胀满，有时自行减轻，以及男子膀胱胀满急迫，抵党汤方：

当归 桂心 干漆（熬制） 大枣（掰开） 虻虫（去掉翅足，熬制） 水蛭（各二两，熬制） 芍药 细辛 黄芩 葳蕤 甘草（炒制，各一两） 吴茱萸 桃仁（各一升，去皮尖及双仁）
以上十三味药，切碎，用酒一斗浸泡一夜。第二天早晨煎煮取三升，分三次服用。
治疗妇女月经不通畅方：
当归 芍药 干姜 芒硝 吴茱萸（各二两） 大黄（四两） 桂心（三两） 甘草（炒制，一两） 桃仁（去皮尖，三十枚）
以上九味药，切碎，用水九升，煎煮取三升，去渣，加入芒硝使其完全溶化。分三次服用。
治疗妇女胸胁胀满，月经不通畅，时常围绕肚脐痛苦疼痛，手足烦热，两脚酸软，温经丸方：
干姜 吴茱萸 附子（炮制后去皮） 大黄 芍药（各三两） 黄芩 干地黄 当归 桂心 白术（各二两） 人参 石苇（各一两，去毛） 蜀椒（一合，去掉目及闭口者，出汗处理） 桃仁（七十枚，去皮尖及双仁，炒制） 薏苡仁（一升）
以上十五味药，捣碎过筛成粉末，用炼蜜调和制成如梧桐子大小的丸剂。饭前，用酒送服一丸，每日三次，若无效则稍加剂量，以见效为度。
Treating women with irregular menstruation (dysmenorrhea/amenorrhea), abdominal fullness that sometimes subsides spontaneously, as well as men with bladder fullness and urgency, the Didang Decoction formula:
Rhei Radix et Rhizoma (Da Huang, 大黄) (2 liang) Persicae Semen (Tao Ren, 桃仁) (30 seeds, skin and pointed ends removed, double kernels discarded, roasted) Hirudo (Shui Zhi, 水蛭) (20 specimens, fried) Polygoni Cuspidati Rhizoma et Radix (Hu Zhang, 虎杖) (fried, 2 liang; alternatively known as Hu Zhang)
The above four herbs are coarsely crushed. Add 3 sheng of water, decoct to obtain 1 sheng. Take in one dose. Blood stasis should be discharged immediately.
Another formula:
Angelicae Sinensis Radix (Dang Gui, 当归) Cinnamomi Ramulus (Gui Xin, 桂心) Drynariae Rhizoma (Gan Qi, 干漆) (fried) Jujubae Fructus (Da Zao, 大枣) (split) Blatta (Meng Chong, 虻虫) (wings and legs removed, fried) Hirudo (Shui Zhi, 水蛭) (each 2 liang, fried) Paeoniae Radix Alba (Bai Shao, 芍药) Asari Radix et Rhizoma (Xi Xin, 细辛) Scutellariae Radix (Huang Qin, 黄芩) Ophiopogonis Radix (Wei Rui, 葳蕤) Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma (Gan Cao, 甘草) (roasted, each 1 liang) Evodiae Fructus (Wu Zhu Yu, 吴茱萸) Persicae Semen (Tao Ren, 桃仁) (each 1 sheng, skin and pointed ends removed, double kernels discarded)
The above thirteen herbs are coarsely crushed. Soak in 1 dou of wine overnight. On the next morning, decoct to obtain 3 sheng. Divide into three doses.
Formula for treating women with irregular menstruation:
Angelicae Sinensis Radix (Dang Gui, 当归) Paeoniae Radix Alba (Bai Shao, 芍药) Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens (Gan Jiang, 干姜) Natrii Sulfas (Mang Xiao, 芒硝) Evodiae Fructus (Wu Zhu Yu, 吴茱萸) (each 2 liang) Rhei Radix et Rhizoma (Da Huang, 大黄) (4 liang) Cinnamomi Ramulus (Gui Xin, 桂心) (3 liang) Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma (Gan Cao, 甘草) (roasted, 1 liang) Persicae Semen (Tao Ren, 桃仁) (skin and pointed ends removed, 30 seeds)
The above nine herbs are coarsely crushed. Add 9 sheng of water, decoct to obtain 3 sheng. Strain the dregs. Add Natrii Sulfas (Mang Xiao, 芒硝) and stir until completely dissolved. Divide into three doses.
Treating women with chest and hypochondriac fullness, irregular menstruation, periodic severe pain around the umbilicus, vexatious heat in hands and feet, and soreness in both legs, the Wenjing Pill formula:
Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens (Gan Jiang, 干姜) Evodiae Fructus (Wu Zhu Yu, 吴茱萸) Aconiti Lateralis Radix Praeparata (Fu Zi, 附子) (processed, skin removed) Rhei Radix et Rhizoma (Da Huang, 大黄) Paeoniae Radix Alba (Bai Shao, 芍药) (each 3 liang) Scutellariae Radix (Huang Qin, 黄芩) Rehmanniae Radix Preparata (Shu Di Huang, 干地黄) Angelicae Sinensis Radix (Dang Gui, 当归) Cinnamomi Ramulus (Gui Xin, 桂心) Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma (Bai Zhu, 白术) (each 2 liang) Ginseng Radix (Ren Shen, 人参) Pyri Folium (Shi Wei, 石苇) (each 1 liang, hairs removed) Zanthoxyli Fructus (Shu Jiao, 蜀椒) (1 he, remove eyes and closed-mouth ones, sweat-dried) Persicae Semen (Tao Ren, 桃仁) (70 seeds, skin and pointed ends removed, double kernels discarded, roasted) Coicis Semen (Yi Yi Ren, 薏苡仁) (1 sheng)
The above fifteen herbs are pounded, sifted into powder, and mixed with refined honey to form pills the size of a Chinese quince seed. Take before meals, one pill with wine, three times daily. If ineffective, slightly increase the dosage until the desired effect is achieved.
