夫欲出行，先画地为坛，房中六尺，庭中六尺，野外六十步，置十二辰位，身居甲地，
自呼名某乙。今欲出往某处，征讨时神，保佑于我，吉昌三言干，大呼青龙下。咒曰∶六甲
九章，天圆地方；四时五行，青赤白黄；太一为师，日月为光。禹前开道。尤辟兵。青龙侠
举，白虎承衡。荧惑先引，辟除不祥。北斗诛罚，除凶去殃。五神导我，周游八方。当我者
死，向我者亡。欲恶我者，先受其殃。吾受北斗之孙，今日出行，乘青龙出天门，入地户；
游阴中，履华盖；去寇贼，矛盾刀，戟戟弩。见我摧伏，莫取当御。急急如律令。
禁贼法∶
唾此恶贼欲来狂图，某甲者，或从东方青帝来，或从南方赤帝来，或从西方白帝来，或
从北方轩帝来，或从中央黄帝来。欲来伤害人者，令其作事莫成，拔刀自刺，拔箭自射。吾
于四道开通，盗贼伏匿，五兵摧折，蜂蛇莫动大尾。辟侧百步，莫令相伤。吾禁五方，恶贼
伏吾手下不得浪行。急急如律令。
太上老君禁神，三呼三吸以取其真。
东方青帝木中精，南方赤帝朱雀形，西方白帝白虎神，北方黑帝乘船行，中央黄帝黄龙
声。
吾有其禁知天神，盖不自发身归诚。日南施禁火精，日北施禁五帝动。经吾三禁，莫敢
不来。神道神名，鬼道鬼字。蛊道虫蛊，魅道魅字。偷道偷名，贼道贼字。高山腾蛇，下山
腾蛇。高山之崎，下山之峻。或在天上，或在人间。河伯将军，五道修罗。十二神将，登明
君、天魁君、传送君、小吉君、胜光君、太一君、天罡君、大冲君、功曹君、大吉君，速送

洒水言嘘，系天师阳平等二十四化真气，臣某弟子自称道号某狱真人、某先生，以今月
今日今时，奉为某家弟子度某符，随符言之。神符度咒曰∶
日出东方，光跃表里，行符敕水，出于老子。老子行符，从吾所使。东九夷从符行，南
八蛮从符起，西六戎捉鬼军，北五狄破鬼营，中三秦从符所摄，急急收录。一鬼不去，斩付
北岳。天有三皇，地有五黑。某所行符，自有法则。非当吾真，当符者死，值符者亡。一鬼
不去，斩付魁刚。急急如律令。
又曰∶符主东方术折，南方火灭，西方金缺，北方水渴，中央土裂，符主天清地裂，人
生鬼灭，急急如律令。
水三口，度神符主符启请∶
谨请虚无直符直事，三十六人从吾符行。
谨请太清直符直事，今岁直符直事，今月今日今时直符直事，各三十六人从吾符行。保
其家，弟子三灾度脱。急急如律令。
水三口，又曰∶天圆地方，六律六章，神符烧香，灾厄消亡。符到奉行，急急如律令
（禁经上下两卷，二十二篇，其间辞语鄙野盖出，欲传思邈切于救人。实录其文不加删
润，今具有云，庶成一家之书。）

游历阴间，脚踏华盖；远离寇贼，避开矛盾刀戟弩箭。见我则摧伏，莫敢抵挡。急急如律令。
禁贼法：

To travel, first draw a ritual altar on the ground: six chi square indoors, six chi square in the courtyard, or sixty paces away in the wilderness. Arrange the Twelve Earthly Branches positions, position oneself at the Jia (甲) location,
and call out one's name, e.g., Mou Jia Yi. Now I intend to go to a certain place, to campaign against the spirits of the time, and to seek their protection for my auspiciousness and prosperity. Reciting the Three Words of Heavenly Stems and Earthly Branches, loudly invoke the Azure Dragon to descend. The incantation states: The Six Jia and Nine Chapters; Heaven is round, Earth is square; The Four Seasons and Five Elements, Azure, Vermilion, White, Yellow; Taiyi as Master, Sun and Moon as Light. Yu leads the way ahead. You wards off military disasters. The Azure Dragon rises with chivalry, the White Tiger bears balance. Yinghuo (Mars) leads first, dispelling inauspiciousness. The Big Dipper executes punishment, removing misfortune and disaster. The Five Spirits guide me, roaming the Eight Directions. Those who block me shall die, those who face me shall perish. Those who wish evil upon me shall first suffer their own calamity. I receive the protection of the Grandson of the Big Dipper. Today I travel, riding the Azure Dragon out of the Heavenly Gate, entering the Earthly Door;
wandering through the Yin realm, treading on the Huagai (Imperial Umbrella); avoiding bandits, keeping distance from spears, halberds, and crossbows. Seeing me, they are subdued; none dare resist. Quickly as if by law and order.
The method to prohibit thieves:
Spit at this evil thief's arrogant plot. Mou Jia may come from the Azure Emperor of the East, or from the Vermilion Emperor of the South, or from the White Emperor of the West, or
from the Black Emperor of the North, or from the Yellow Emperor of the Center. Those wishing to harm people shall find their deeds fail, stabbing themselves with swords, shooting themselves with arrows. I open the four directions, thieves hide, weapons break, bees and snakes do not move their large tails. Warding off evil within a hundred paces, let them not harm each other. I prohibit the Five Directions, evil thieves lie under my hand, unable to roam freely. Quickly as if by law and order.
Taishang Laojun prohibits spirits; three calls and three breaths to obtain truth.
The Azure Emperor of the East is the essence of Wood; the Vermilion Emperor of the South takes the form of the Vermilion Bird; the White Emperor of the West is the spirit of the White Tiger; the Black Emperor of the North travels by boat; the Yellow Emperor of the Center has the voice of the Yellow Dragon.
I possess this prohibition knowing the Heavenly Gods, not originating from myself but returning sincerity. In the South of the Sun, fire essence applies prohibition; in the North of the Sun, the Five Emperors move. After my three prohibitions, none dare not come. The names of gods in the Way of Gods, the characters of ghosts in the Way of Ghosts. The insects of Gu in the Way of Gu, the characters of Mei in the Way of Mei. The names of thieves in the Way of Theft, the characters of robbers in the Way of Robbery. The Tengshe snake climbing high mountains, the Tengshe snake descending steep slopes. The ruggedness of high mountains, the precipitousness of low hills. Whether in heaven or in the human realm. General Hebo, Asuras of the Five Roads. The Twelve Divine Generals: Dengming Jun, Tiankui Jun, Chuansong Jun, Xiaoji Jun, Shengguang Jun, Taiyi Jun, Tiangang Jun, Dachong Jun, Gongcao Jun, Daji Jun. Send quickly, send quickly; your name must not stay long. Quickly as if by law and order.
KT (Tianchou), Jiujiu Shan (Shi Ling Fu), KT Fayu Lu KT (as in one version).
Take half a sheng of clear water, stir it with a knife. Chant this incantation twenty-one times (seven times seven), and give it to the child to drink. Write the aforementioned record in cinnabar ink under the child's shoulder
(or knee). Soon the ghosts will be summoned and arrive. The child sees them personally, asks them one by one, and they immediately speak of the illness caused and the ghost responsible. Copy their names and dispatch them.
Like this, when invoking deities for the passage of talismans:
First burn incense and chant over the brush, pointing the brush at the mouth and beating six drums.
Respectfully invite the Old Lord of the Azure Emperor of the East to descend and bind my brush.
Respectfully invite the Old Lord of the Vermilion Emperor of the South to descend and bind my brush.
Respectfully invite the Old Lord of the White Emperor of the West to descend and bind my brush.
Respectfully invite the Old Lord of the Black Emperor of the North to descend and bind my brush.
Respectfully invite the Old Lord of the Yellow Emperor of the Center to descend and bind my brush. Pointing at heaven, heaven tilts; pointing at earth, earth calms; pointing at ghosts, ghosts die; pointing at humans, humans live. Quickly as if by
the Law and Order of Taishang Laojun.
When requesting the five-directional water for passing talismans:
Respectfully invite the true qi of the Azure Dragon of the East into my water.
Respectfully invite the true qi of the Vermilion Dragon of the South into my water.
Respectfully invite the true qi of the White Dragon of the West into my water.
Respectfully invite the true qi of the Black Dragon of the North into my water.
Respectfully invite the true qi of the Yellow Dragon of the Center into my water.
Respectfully invite the true qi of the Five Dragons of the Five Directions into my water. My water is extraordinary water, boiled peach soup. My knife is an extraordinary knife, flanked by the Seven Stars. My mouth is an extraordinary mouth, containing Kuigang. Water in the river is called River Water. Water in the well is called Well Water. Water in my bowl is called Pure Spirit Water. Water in my mouth is called Taishang Laojun's Purifying Water. My water causes mountains to collapse, earth to crack, humans to live, ghosts to perish. Quickly as if by law and order.
Sprinkling water and exhaling, connecting to the true qi of the Twenty-Four Transformations such as Celestial Master Yang Ping. Your servant, disciple, calling himself Daoist name Zhenren Mouyu, Mr. Mou, in this month, day, and hour, respectfully bestow a certain talisman upon the disciple of a certain family, following the words of the talisman. The incantation for passing divine talismans states:
The sun rises in the East, light leaps inside and out. Performing talismans and commanding water, originating from Laozi. Laozi performs talismans, obeying my command. The Nine Yi in the East follow the talisman, the Eight Man in the South rise from the talisman, the Six Rong in the West capture ghosts army, the Five Di in the North break ghost camps, the Three Qin in the Center are captured by the talisman. Quickly collect. If one ghost does not leave, beheaded and sent to Mount Bei. Heaven has Three Sovereigns, Earth has Five Blacks. The talisman I perform has its own rules. Not facing my true self, those facing the talisman die, those encountering the talisman perish. If one ghost does not leave, beheaded and sent to Kuigang. Quickly as if by law and order.
It also says: The talisman master breaks Eastern arts, extinguishes Southern fire, lacks Western metal, thirsts Northern water, cracks Central earth. The talisman master clears heaven and cracks earth, humans live and ghosts perish. Quickly as if by law and order.
Three mouths of water, invoking the deity master of the divine talisman:
Respectfully invite the Void Direct Officer and Direct Servant, thirty-six people follow my talisman.
Respectfully invite the Supreme Purity Direct Officer and Direct Servant, the year's Direct Officer and Direct Servant, the month's, day's, and hour's Direct Officer and Direct Servant, each thirty-six people follow my talisman. Protect their home, deliver disciples from the Three Calamities. Quickly as if by law and order.
Three mouths of water, again stating: Heaven is round, Earth is square, Six Laws and Six Chapters. Burning incense for divine talismans, disasters and evils vanish. Upon arrival of the talisman, execute it. Quickly as if by law and order.
(The Prohibition Scriptures consist of upper and lower volumes, twenty-two chapters. The language therein is somewhat vulgar, yet transmitted because Simiao was eager to save lives. The text is recorded faithfully without deletion or embellishment. Now presented fully, hoping to form a unique school of thought.)
